What we know about the 2025 4th Street Lilac Festival

Preparations are underway for Calgary's 2025 4th Street Lilac Festival. The free one-day festival is held every June, and features live music, family friendly activities and hundreds of vendors. It takes place on Fourth Street S.W. between 12 Avenue and Elbow Drive, and 17th Avenue S.W. from Second Street to Fifth Street. 'The Lilac Festival is so much more than a street festival—it's a celebration of Calgary's creative spirit and cultural diversity,' said spokesperson Jennifer Rempel in a Wednesday news release. 'As our city continues to grow, so does this festival,' she said. 'What started as a small community event has grown into a city-wide tradition.' This year, visitors can expect more than 600 vendors, multiple performance stages and extended patios. There will also be a kids' zone located at 18 Avenue and Fourth Street. For more information on the festival, you can visit the Lilac Festival website. The 2025 4th Street Lilac Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, rain or shine.
