Kriti Sanon bought a lavish sea-facing duplex penthouse in Mumbai's Pali Hill for over Rs 78 crore. The 6,636 sq ft home includes six parking spots and a 1,209 sq ft terrace. She co-owns it with her mother and enjoys a reduced 1% stamp duty as a female buyer. Kriti Sanon has secured an elegant sea-facing duplex penthouse in Mumbai's elite Pali Hill locality, Bandra. The luxurious 6,636-square-foot residence comes with a price tag exceeding Rs 78.20 crore. The purchase was officially recorded on Thursday, accompanied by a stamp duty payment of Rs 3.91 crore. Property details and ownership As per Economic Times reports, the actress purchased the property from Supreme Universal, with her mother included as a co-owner. The deal provides exclusive rights to six parking spaces and an open terrace measuring 1,209 square feet. The duplex occupies the 14th and 15th floors of a building still under construction and offers a carpet area of 6,636 sq ft. Price and stamp duty benefits The deal reportedly amounted to over Rs 84.16 crore, with a rate of about Rs 1.18 lakh per square foot, placing it among the highest-priced property sales in Mumbai's suburbs. Kriti Sanon benefited from a special stamp duty concession as a female buyer, paying only 1% stamp duty totaling Rs 3.91 crore, instead of the usual 5%, as per Maharashtra government rules. Current residence and previous property investment At present, Kriti resides in a large rented apartment located in Andheri, Mumbai, which she shares with her sister Nupur and their pet dogs. She is said to be leasing the 27th and 28th floors of a premium residential complex, which serves as her main home. The newest property investment comes after she purchased a 2,000-square-foot plot of land in Alibaug last year, part of the exclusive Sol de Alibaug development by The House of Abhinandan Lodha, for around Rs 2 crore in mid-July. Upcoming film projects On the work front, Kriti Sanon will next act in 'Tere Ishk Mein' with Dhanush, directed by Aanand L Rai .
