Brandon Graham Issues Critical Advice to Eagles After Super Bowl
After Brandon Graham stood at the Championship Parade podium in Philadelphia with two Vince Lombardi Trophies next to him, the Philadelphia Eagles' defensive end decided to ride off into the sunset. He called it a career and left the league as a champion.
Since Graham won the Super Bowl with the Eagles the first time around, he experienced the highs and lows that came with winning. Knowing what he knows now, Graham issued some public advice for next year's Eagles team as they look to defend their status as Super Bowl Champions.
"You got to have a cut off soon, make sure your workouts are still, you know you're still working out and you're not just taking meetings and taking all of these different things that take you away from ball because of what you did the year before," Graham said on the 94WIP Afternoon Show in Philadelphia.

"Because as soon as this year comes up, and we not going like we need to go, it's going to be all that, 'Super Bowl hangover.'"
Before the 2017 NFL season, the Eagles didn't have any Super Bowls to show for in franchise history. After defeating the New England Patriots to win their first Super Bowl, Graham and the Eagles were riding a high heading into the 2018 NFL season.

Brandon Graham #55 of the Philadelphia Eagles warms up prior to a game against the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field on November 05, 2023 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There was a lot of talk about the Eagles turning into a dynasty after dethroning Tom Brady and the Patriots. Philadelphia believed they were next. Reality ended up hitting them hard as they experienced a true Super Bowl hangover.
In 2018, the Eagles achieved a record of 9-7. They made the playoffs as a Wild Card after coming second in the NFC East, and they took on a tough Chicago Bears team in the first round. The Eagles barely squeezed by the Bears, winning 16-15, thanks to the famous double-doink field goal miss by Chicago.

Once the Eagles go to the Divisional Round to face the New Orleans Saints, they had a hot start in the first half, but ended up losing 20-14, getting eliminated in the playoffs. While the Eagles nearly punched their ticket to the NFC Championship for the second season in a row, the feeling was a lot different that time around. They didn't rattle off the confidence of a dynasty. Their follow-up season, which resulted in a 9-7 performance, with a Wild Card loss, proved that major changes were needed.
Fast forward to 2025, and the Eagles are back on top. Graham won't be in the building to help guide the team to a different destination this time around, but his message is important. Fortunately for the Eagles, they seem to hold a motivated mindset still, even after winning it all.

Rookie Travis Hunter Offered Ominous Warning From Kelce
Rookie Travis Hunter Offered Ominous Warning From Kelce originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2025, and that means the AFC champs will get to see rookie Travis Hunter strut his stuff. Advertisement Seen as a star receiver and corner, Hunter is expected to play both positions in his rookie season, as he did with Colorado last year in college. But as we know, the NFL is a different beast, and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who was speaking on the Bussin With The Boys podcast, thinks Hunter is going to have a tough time playing both positions. ... And he is offering an ominous warning in the form of a scouting report. 'See, that's the thing," Kelce said. "I don't know how they're going to divvy it out. I don't know because teams are going to be going after him. They're going to try and make his day miserable." Advertisement 'Dude, if he plays corner, they're just going to run deep balls at him all day ... the wide receivers just take off on him all day. Just to try to get him tired. Why wouldn't you just attack him that way?' Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (left) and Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter (right).Mark J. Rebilas-Imagn Images; Doug Engle/Florida Times-Union So it is clear Kelce has a clear picture of what NFL offenses are going to do with Hunter, and that is just on the defensive side. Hunter will then have to play receiver, too. Most think Hunter will have to pick a position and "major" in it, while moonlighting the other, but there doesn't seem to be a world where the rookie can play both full-time, at least at the NFL level. Because if Kelce is thinking this already, you can bet your house that 31 other offenses are thinking the exact same thing. 2025 Arizona Cardinals training camp roster preview: RB James Conner
The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team. Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2024, questions they face and their roster outlook. Advertisement This focuses on running back James Conner. James Conner background, 2024 season Conner entered the NFL in 2017 as a third-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played there four seasons before signing with the Cardinals in 2021 on a one-year deal. He signed a three-year contract after that and last year added a two-year extension. He has increased his rushing output each season since 2021. He was a Pro Bowler for the second time in 2021 when he had 18 total touchdowns and 1,127 total yards from scrimmage. Last season, he rushed for a career-high 1,094 yards, his second consecutive 1,000-yard season, and scored eight touchdowns. He added 47 receptions for 414 yards and a touchdown, giving him a career-high 1,508 yards from scrimmage and nine total touchdowns. Advertisement James Conner 2025 contract details, cap hit Conner signed a two-year extension worth $19 million. He received a $6.75 million signing bonus last year and will earn $3.64 million in salary and up to $510,000 in per-game roster bonuses. His cap hit this season is scheduled to be $6.47 million. Questions he faces, roster outlook The only question Conner faces is whether he can continue to play at the level he has over the last two seasons, as he just turned 30 years old. How many targets will he have, and can he surpass last year's rushing total. He said after his 2023 season that he wanted that year (1,040 rushing yards) to be his baseline moving forward. Advertisement As for his roster outlook, he is a lock for the team and is the unquestioned starter and workhorse, although depending on the development of 2024 third-round Trey Benson, he might see fewer touches in 2025.
