How Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise's ‘Working Relationship' Turned to ‘Flirty Attraction'

Elle4 days ago
THE RUNDOWN
Rumors that Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas might be dating swirled for months after they were seen together in London and then on a yacht off the coast of Spain. Sources maintained that the pair were simply working on various projects together, but at the end of July they were photographed holding hands.
A source speaking to Entertainment Tonight this week says that there was truth to the story that Cruise and de Armas shared a 'working relationship,' however 'their connection grew stronger.'
'Over time, it became clear that what they have goes beyond just friendship or a working relationship,' the source explained, saying they were working on projects together, especially the upcoming thriller, Deeper. Spending time together led to something more.
'Tom thinks she's incredibly smart and beautiful. Ana has always enjoyed their time together and the flirty attraction between them,' the insider added.
Other sources have hinted at a deepening relationship leading up to their hand holding reveal.
On May 14, a source told Us Weekly that Cruise was 'super smitten' with de Armas and had 'developed' feelings for her.
'They've gone out on some dates, and it's very low-key,' the source claimed. 'It's in the early stages, and he's been courting her.'
A source told People on July 18 that de Armas was single, though it had been rumored that she was dating Manuel Anido Cuesta, the stepson of Cuba's president, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez. That same day, another insider described de Armas's connection with Cruise.
'[They] have a special work relationship,' the source said. 'Tom is crazy hardworking, and she's very excited to work with him. She calls it an opportunity of a lifetime.'
The source added that as she has been preparing for Deeper, Cruise has been 'an incredible mentor to Ana. She has nothing but amazing things to say about him.'

A trendy textured bag you can throw over your shoulder and feel like a fashionista, even though 1. It's filled with things like a dried-up lip balm, and sweat blotting wipes, and 2. It costs less than 30 bucks. Reviewers say it looks just like the Clare V. Petit Moyen bag (which retails for $385, in comparison). A set of mushroom bookmarks that'll both save your spot in your book while also making you feel like you've finally achieved your cottagecore dreams. I can totally see using these in a big ol' science textbook during the school year to mark off different chapters with whimsical flair. You better believe I'm reserving shimmery red for Mr. Darcy. A puppy night-light that'll be the paw-fect companion to your need to pee about three times every night, despite cutting yourself off from drinking water at least an hour before climbing into bed. A set of Disney Princess–themed playing cards to bring some magic to your daily game of Solitaire. The best part? And a Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse pumpkin throw pillow that'll look so gourd-geous on your couch, your partner won't even care when you display them in the midst of summer instead of holding out until the *Ber* months.

Carole Radziwill Gives Update on Where She Stands With Former RHONY Castmates

Real Housewives of New York alum Carole Radziwill made a shock Bravo return. She joined former friend turned enemy Andy Cohen in the clubhouse for Watch What Happens Live. During the vicious Season 10 RHONY reunion, Carole accused Andy of siding with her enemy, Bethenny Frankel. That reunion was nerve-wracking. Carole's friendship with both Bethenny and Andy ended, yet all parties continued to slam each other in the media. Fun times! Finally, Carole and Andy reconciled and put aside their differences. It was a long time coming. And from their vibe on WWHL, it looks like their friendship is back on track. Who does Carole Radziwill keep in touch with from The Real Housewives of New York City? During her clubhouse return, Andy asked Carole about her former co-stars. 'Carole, who do you … who are you still in touch with from RHONY?' he asked. 'Dorinda [Medley] and I share a really good friend, so I do see her occasionally. But she's very busy doing her other shows. I have some tea about The Traitors, but I can't say,' Carole stated. 'And umm, actually Heather [Thomson] moved to the Berkshires, but she comes to the city, and I see her, you know, very occasionally. A couple times a year.' Carole continued, 'And then other than that, I mean, I haven't seen anyone else in eight years. Although I recently randomly bumped into Ramona [Singer] and Luann [de Lesseps] at the same party. And I had to, like, look around because I'm like, 'There's definitely cameras here,'' she added. 'Like there should have been.' When Andy asked what it was like talking to them, Carole explained her emotions. 'So, I like see them and it's sort of like 'Aww,' you know? And I don't remember. Did we hate each other? Did we not?' Carole explained. 'But Ramona was Ramona …' Then Carole launched into a spot-on Ramona impression. As for Luann? Carole hugged her former co-star. 'It's like I'm on the show again,' Carole stated. 'Like we just fall right into it.' The Real Housewives of New York is streaming on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland. TELL US – ARE YOU SURPRISED THAT CAROLE WAS ON WWHL?
