Honor's next tablet is even thinner than the Galaxy S25 Edge
Honor is one of the companies that's expected to launch a Galaxy Z Fold 7 competitor before Samsung introduces its flagship. In fact, the Chinese company has already confirmed it will unveil the Magic V5 on July 2. The catch is the foldable will only be introduced in China, so the Galaxy Z Fold 7 might not have any competition globally after all.But Magic V5 is not the only interesting product Honor plans to announce on July 2. The sequel to the MagicPad 2 tablet is also going to be introduced alongside the company's foldable early next month.
If you think the Galaxy S25 Edge is incredibly thin, then you'll probably think it's impossible for a tablet to be thinner. Well, the MagicPad 3 is just 5.79mm thick, which is just 0.1mm thinner than the Galaxy S25 Edge.

According to the General Manager of Honor's Tablet and IoT Product division, the MagicPad 3 will pack 'the largest battery in the industry.' Based on previous reports, Honor's tablet should feature a huge 12,450 mAh battery. Another 'industry's first' for the MagicPad 3 is the 13.3-inch LCD Oasis eye-protection display, which takes advantage of a dual DDIC setup for dual-core drivers. The innovations that Honor integrated into the display will enable the tablet to offer an ultra-high resolution and refresh rate experience.

Other rumored highlights of the MagicPad 3 include a top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB of internal storage. Also, the tablet's huge battery is said to support 66W wired charging speeds.
Several pictures showing the tablet's back and sides have been recently published by Honor on Weibo. These only show the Floating Gold version of the MagicPad 3, but two other color options are likely to be available at launch: Starry Gray and Moon Shadow White.

In addition to three or four new foldable devices widely expected to see daylight in just a few weeks, Samsung is almost certainly preparing an upgraded non-foldable high-ender for an official announcement by the end of the year too. The existence and impending arrival of the Galaxy S25 FE have been basically set in stone by a number of recent rumors and leaks, and now we finally know exactly how the S24 FE's sequel is supposed to look on the outside. Predictably enough, the new inexpensive Android flagship is not tipped to completely reimagine its predecessor's design, although there are at least a couple of changes in the pipeline destined to put a big smile on the faces of a lot of cash-strapped power users and hardcore Samsung fans. As much as we'd all love to see companies like Samsung break new aesthetic ground with every upgraded member of families like the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z, it's important to acknowledge that reinventing the wheel (or the classic rectangular slab look) is not easy... or very feasible in this day and age. As such, maintaining a family identity and a coherent design language while slowly but steadily improving key little details like product weight and thickness is probably the best thing Samsung can do year in and year out. Enter the Galaxy S24 FE -similar S25 FE with a 7.4mm waist. Nowhere near as thin as the S25 Edge, the S25 FE could be just about as eye-catching as the Galaxy S25. That's considerably thinner than the S24 FE's 8mm measurement, and although it obviously can't rival the industry-leading 5.8mm thinness of the first-of-a-kind Galaxy S25 Edge, it's pretty clear that this is a trend now that Samsung plans to keep going for at least a little while longer. At 7.4mm, the S25 Fan Edition will be almost as slim as the "vanilla" Galaxy S25 (which rocks a very slender 7.2mm profile of its own), but hopefully, this won't impact battery life in any noticeable way. Interestingly, the Galaxy S25 FE is also expected to be slightly shorter and narrower than the S24 FE, at 161.4 and 76.6mm respectively (compared to 162 and 77.3mm), which means a reduction in bezel size is virtually guaranteed too. That's because the S25 FE is likely to retain its predecessor's 6.7-inch screen diagonal, as well as the super-high-quality AMOLED technology, 120Hz refresh rate support, and decent albeit not glorious resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. Unfortunately, that's a strong possibility after today's highly detailed leak. Especially if Samsung manages to keep the 4,700mAh battery capacity unchanged, or even better, bump that up (somehow) to 5,000mAh. With great improvements comes a strong possibility of a (small) price increase. Under the hood, a few disappointing rumors have hinted at the use of the same Exynos 2400e processor found inside last year's Galaxy S24 FE, which would make it pretty hard for Samsung to justify any potential price hike. On the bright side, some insiders believe the Galaxy S25 FE could offer as much as 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage space in an entry-level configuration, so if that ends up costing $700 in the US instead of the $650 list price of a Galaxy S24 FE with 8GB RAM and 128GB local digital hoarding room, the value proposition might prove extremely difficult to argue with. The Pova Curve is yet another value-oriented option from Tecno. It aims to bring a stylish design along with features like a 144Hz AMOLED display and the usual assortment of AI features to the masses. The Tecno Pova Curve shares the basic design and software with the Infinix Zero 40 that we looked at last year. If this seems surprising then it shouldn't as both brands are owned by the same parent company, Transsion Holdings. Having said that, this isn't just a straight copy-paste effort like we sometimes see from other brands with a shared parentage. The Pova Curve comes in at a lower price point than the Zero 40, so it makes several changes to the spec sheet, including to the chipset and the cameras but manages to gain a bigger battery while somehow being thinner and lighter. At a starting price of INR 15,999, the Tecno Pova Curve is priced much more aggressively. Let's see if it manages to impress us like its older cousin. Samsung Galaxy S25 FE's design revealed through CAD-based renders
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 next month, and their renders that leaked yesterday showed us the phones in different colors. However, Samsung's next high-end smartphone after these foldables won't come in 2026 but before the end of 2025. We are talking about the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, which has appeared in CAD-based renders shared by SammyGuru in collaboration with OnLeaks. The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE's design hasn't changed much from its predecessor - the Galaxy S24 FE. The smartphone has a metal build with flat frames, sports a punch-hole display on the front, and features a vertically aligned triple camera setup on the rear. On the right side of the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE are the volume rocker and power button, and at the bottom is the USB-C port, flanked by a SIM card slot and a speaker grille, which could also be housing a microphone. Up top is another mic. While the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE's design language remains identical to that of its predecessor, the dimensions are different. According to the source, the S25 FE measures 161.4 x 76.6 x 7.4 mm, compared to the S24 FE, which measures 162 x 77.3 x 8 mm. This makes the S25 FE slightly shorter than the S24 FE, but despite that, the source says that the S25 FE packs a 6.7" display - the same as the S24 FE. That's courtesy of thinner bezels. The source didn't mention the screen resolution but said it's a Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits of peak brightness. The S25 FE is also thinner than the S24 FE, and we hope that the 0.6 mm difference doesn't translate to a reduction in battery capacity, as Samsung has been allergic to using Si/C batteries in its smartphones. There's no word from Samsung about the Galaxy S25 FE. However, rumors claim that the smartphone will be powered by either the Exynos 2400 or Dimensity 9400 SoC and have 12GB of RAM onboard. It will have 256GB and 512GB storage options and could run Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box. Samsung Galaxy S24 FE The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE's front camera will use a 12MP sensor, while the triple camera setup on the rear will comprise 50MP primary (with OIS), 8MP telephoto (3x optical), and 12MP ultrawide units.
