David Beckham, Victoria accused of ‘toxic' behaviour, ‘verbally berating' son Brooklyn; daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz hits breaking point
Nicola Peltz's feud with the Beckhams escalates
A source told TMZ that the former English footballer doesn't hold back when talking to his oldest son, Brooklyn, 26. He allegedly 'verbally berates' him during phone calls. But, that's not all, the source added, every time that happens, Victoria rushes to text Nicola something sweet, just to make sure there's no written proof of David's yelling, like damage control. 'They scream at him for an hour, then act like everything's fine.' But Nicola, who has never been on Victoria's favorite list—from being pushed aside during her first dance at the wedding to being accused of stealing their precious son—turned out to be quite a rebel in the Beckhams' household. She always defends Brooklyn and isn't the type to stay quiet. One source explained, 'She always talks back to them and stands up for Brooklyn,' which allegedly doesn't sit well with the Beckhams.
The tension reportedly gained limelight during David's 50th birthday celebration in London last weekend, which both Brooklyn and Nicola skipped. Following that, almost a dozen sources spoke out about the Beckhams' family drama. The celebration was attended by the rest of the family, including Brooklyn's brother Romeo and his girlfriend Kim Turnbull, whom the Beckhams trust completely. Brooklyn, who has been absent from the family's Instagram portraits for a while now, is not speaking to his siblings either, especially Romeo. The source said Victoria and David have backed Romeo and feel that Nicola is partly to blame for dividing the brothers.
The report further highlights how The Last Airbender star tried her best to support the family and even cleared her schedule for a month to solve the issue, be it showing up to Victoria's fashion shows or promoting her brand, but doesn't get the same support in return. During the L.A. wildfires, Nicola reportedly asked Victoria to promote her dog rescue, Yogi's House, but Victoria blamed her team, saying she 'wasn't posting content right now,' promoting her brand. Brooklyn and Nicola reportedly flew to London ahead of David's party and offered to meet the family privately to sort things out. But their request was denied. That's when they decided to skip the birthday bash completely.
On the other hand, a source close to Victoria shared with Page Six that this situation is her 'worst nightmare.' The insider said, 'The thought of any of her children falling out gives her sleepless nights.' She's been trying hard to fix things, but the cracks are showing again. Meanwhile, the fallout between Nicola and the former Spice Girl member began in 2022 with a wedding dress drama. Instead of wearing a gown designed by her future mother-in-law, Nicola chose a Valentino dress. The Beckhams have four kids: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper Seven.

Kohli, who is currently in London, was seen cheering from the stands, accompanied by Anushka. Virat Kohli was recently invited to the YouWeCan charity event in London. Seated among other celebrity guests, the Indian cricketer was seen having a good time. He soon noticed travel blogger and comedian Sumit Sapra sitting in another seat. Virat immediately recognised him, greeted him with a big, wide smile, and waved from his seat. He silently asked Virat about wife Anushka Sharma. Watch it here: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sumit Sapra (@summit_comedy_cabaret) In an interview with Vogue after Vamika's birth, Anushka had mentioned that she is the primary caregiver for her child. She stated that Virat Kohli has to play cricket throughout the year, while she can decide how many films she wants to do and when. She stressed that her main focus will be on her children, especially during their early years. Reflecting on how she and Virat split duties, Anushka said, 'We don't see it as mum and dad duties, but as a family unit. For us, it's important that our child be raised with a very balanced outlook. It is all about shared duties. I will be the primary caregiver, especially in the first few years, and that's the reality… I am self-employed, and I can decide when I am working, if I do one or two films a year. In Virat's case, he plays round the year. What becomes important is the time we spend together as a family." The actress added, 'Times have changed. It's important for children to look at their parents—they learn from you. And there is a sense of normalcy that both of us work. Of course, one will have to manage things differently and more efficiently to work… Conditioning is the most important role in how we see the world. I come from a progressive background, so that will always be a part of our home. Love is the underlying factor in our home, and what's important to us is that our child be respectful of people. You have to create that value structure. We don't want to raise brats." Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married on December 11, 2017, in a beautiful wedding ceremony at Lake Como in Italy. On January 11, 2021, they welcomed their first child, daughter Vamika. On February 15, 2024, the couple welcomed son Akaay.
