New York Giants have lowest overall team rating in Madden 26 beta
The New York Giants aren't very highly regarded around the NFL these days. Nine double-digit loss seasons in the past 11 years will tend to do that.
At some point, reality spills over into fantasy, and there's no better venue to gauge that than in the popular video game, Madden.
In this year's version (beta) -- Madden '26 -- the Giants are the lowest-rated of the NFL's current 32 teams.
Giant fans should not be surprised based on their team's performance over the past decade. They've qualified for the postseason just twice over that span but have not been considered contenders since winning Super Bowl XLVI in February of 2012.
Madden ratings go from 0 to 99. The Giants have just one player with a rating over 90: Defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence (93).

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams didn't mince words when talking about Green Bay Packers fans at Fanatics on Friday. Williams, 23, was asked which team's fans he has had the most negative experiences with, and the Bears quarterback was quick to point to the fanbase of the Bears' biggest rival. "Probably Green Bay," Williams said. "I mean, they suck. After the game, after we won at Lambeau — 1-0 at Lambeau — we tried to do the Lambeau Leap, tried to jump into the crowd where our fans were." "[Packers fans] just started throwing everything at you, push you off. The Lambeau Leap, it's a real leap. It's not a little baby jump, you actually have to high jump, basically. And they're pushing you, pushing your face." The Bears last season started the season 4-2, and then they proceeded to lose their next 10 games. They snapped the losing streak in Week 18 against the Packers in Lambeau Field. Williams was efficient in the win, as he was 21 of 29 passing with 148 yards with a touchdown pass. Despite the Bears' struggles last season, Williams's play has given Bears' fans hope that he might be the franchise quarterback they have desperately yearned for. After being selected with the No. 1 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft out of USC, Williams started all 17 games while he completed 62.5% of his passes for 3,541 yards with 20 touchdowns and six interceptions. The first time the Bears play the Packers next season and deal with their fans will be at Lambeau Field on Dec. 7, and then the Bears will host the Packers just two weeks later on Dec. 20. The Miami Dolphins have been trying to send Jalen Ramsey and his $72-plus million contract packing since April of this year. According to Bleacher Report, NFL insider Jeremy Fowler of ESPN says the team is nearing a deal. The Los Angeles Rams are the one team that has shown interest in the veteran cornerback, but Rams head coach Sean McVay noted that there were "obstacles" that prevented a deal from being finalized at this point. Fowler named the Rams as a team "in the mix" with the most interest. "That's a team that others have identified as just the perfect fit," Fowler said. "You know, they have a need, they're familiar with the player, they won a Super Bowl with him, so we'll see." Advertisement That obstacle is contract he signed last fall with Miami. The 30-year-old Ramsey is due a boatload of guaranteed money this upcoming season, more than $20 million. "Teams have a hard time reconciling how much they're gonna have to pay at that contract," Fowler said. Fowler also said that the Rams are not the only team in the mix. That means at some point a cornerback-needy team will come calling. Speculation remains as to how long that will take, varying from a mid-season trade to a deal in the coming weeks of the NFL offseason.
