Raj, DK prep for next action-packed schedule of 'Rakt Bramhand'
Ace filmmakers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K have a lot of exciting projects in the pipeline. One of them is the web series Rakt Bramhand - The Bloody Kingdom.
The duo is currently busy preparing for the next big action schedule of Netflix's action-fantasy series, which stars Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead role.
"This is an ambitious epic project unfolding over multiple schedules. We finished most of our indoor talkie schedule, and we're now prepping for the next big schedule that is mostly outdoors and action," commenting on the current progress, creator duo Raj & DK said.
"The plan is to wait for the rains to clear for a suitable filming window. We also need lush greens for this period piece. So yeah, we are prepping for the next big action schedule."
Samatha Ruth Prabhu, Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi are also a part of the show, which is set against the backdrop of a mythical kingdom, combining large-scale action with an edge-of-the-seat narrative.

The actor was at the Dubai Airport on Monday night, ready to board an Emirates flight to Mumbai, when the suspension of flights cause an hour of delay. While many passengers were worried, Singh did not panic, he told Khaleej Times after safely reaching India. Recounting the experience, he said, "My flight was supposed to take off at 9:40, and I was waiting close to the gate. "I usually try to stay calm during any crisis, as panicking doesn't help. But I started getting calls from friends and family who were worried about me. We heard that flights from the UAE were affected because of Iran's attack on US military base in Qatar," Singh said. "My wife is pregnant, she was waiting for me in Mumbai and checking in constantly. I told her not to worry," he shared. Singh said that there was no cause for worry as the airline and airport staff handled the situation efficiently. "The staff at the Dubai airport ensured everyone stayed calm and assured passengers that they would have some information soon. They handled the situation very well," Singh added. The flight then took off around 10:45, an hour after scheduled departure. "Extended my stay to explore" This was Singh's first trip to Dubai. Here to attend a media summit, Singh extended his stay to spend 5-6 days in the UAE. Despite the heat, he went around meeting friends and visiting places to see in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. "I was quite fascinated by how this spectacular city has been built on a desert, so I wanted to explore as much as possible. I went to Old Dubai, explored the Souk, went to the Marina. I also took a walk on the beach in the evening. I did not let the heat deter me," Singh shared, adding that he hoped to be back soon. Singh also visited the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi. "It was a special experience to offer prayers at the temple," he said.

Tamil actor Srikanth arrested after probe reveals substance abuse
Tamil actor Srikanth Krishnamachari, better known by his on-screen name Srikanth, was arrested late on June 23 by the Nungambakkam police in Chennai for buying narcotics and other illegal substances from a cartel. The actor's involvement, The News Minute reported citing Sun News, came to light when two former functionaries of the Tamil Nadu-based political party, the All-India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, were involved in a bar fight and later arrested. An interrogation of the duo, Prasad and Ajay Vandayar, led to the arrest of Pradeep Kumar, a narcotics dealer. Prasad, according to The Hindu, had bought the substances from Pradeep and supplied them to Srikanth, best known for his lead roles in hits such as Roja Kootam, Parthiban Kanavu, April Maadathil, Nanban, a remake of the Bollywood hit 3 Idiots, and the Telugu hit Adavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule. Srikanth had procured the substances repeatedly at an upscale bar in Chennai a month ago. The actor was produced before a magistrate late on June 23 and remanded to judicial custody until July 7. Srikanth is yet to release a statement. The police searched the actor's residence in the Nungambakkam Lake Area, where illegal substances in small quantities were seized, The Hindu reported. He was subsequently detained for questioning and then arrested after his blood test came back positive for narcotics. Srikanth had procured one gram of narcotics for Rs 12,000 (Dh511.45) 40 times, investigations revealed. The actor had made digital payments amounting to around Rs 472,00 to dealers using Google Pay. The Chennai police's Anti-Narcotics Intelligence Unit is now looking into the involvement of other actors, and the supplier network that spans countries. Srikanth made his acting debut with the TV show Jannal - Marabu Kavithaigal directed by K Balachander, who launched the careers of Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Prakash Raj and Jayaprada, in 1999. Srikanth's other notable roles came in Okariku Okaru, Bose, Coffee with Kadhal and Oru Naal Oru Kanavu.
