Restaurant Week: Dinner Edition taking place later this month
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Downtown Partners has announced the return of a popular event featuring a slew of local restaurants.
Restaurant Week: Dinner Edition will take place later this month from April 22 through April 26.
This year will be featuring 16 local favorites including El Comal, Melting Cow, SoHo Kitchen & Bar, and the brand new 1854 Grille, amongst others.
'All our chefs and restaurant owners are looking forward to flauinting their menus this year!' Downtown Partners executive director Ragen Cote said. 'Restaurant Week is such a big hit for our local businesses. The community really comes out for this one, so I would suggest making our reservations now. Last year, some places were just too full to accommodate two of us. That's a great problem to have!'
Food Truck Fridays kicking of 10th year in June
In addition to good food, Downtown Partners will also be offering a giveaway for those who post on social media with the #SCRWDinging25.

New festival hits downtown Sioux City

Food Truck Fridays returns for its 10th year
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The summer-long Food Truck Fridays started June 6. Here's what you need to know! June 6 marked the 10th year of Sioux City's Food Truck Fridays. The initiative was started by a group of volunteers back in 2015. Now, it has flourished into a summertime tradition. Summer's starting, it's a great way to see people like in the community you don't always get to see, and it's just a great way to try different foods and support local businesses,' she said. Native American dance group coming to Lewis and Clark center for free show
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — A traditional Native American dance group is coming to the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center this month. The Many Moccasins Dance Troupe will be performing at the Spirit of Discovery Stage at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 18. The event is free. The center said the performance is family-friendly and free for visitors. If you'd like to sit during the event, you're encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket.
