A group of young Minions from Port Talbot received high praise during Britain Got Talent's live semi-final, as Simon Cowell said they "really have a chance of winning". The energetic dance crew, named Lil M's, are from TDM Dance school in Port Talbot.
The group, dressed as Minions, performed to a dance medley which included Galantis' Peanut Butter Jelly, the YMCA and the Star Wars theme tune. Just as they did in their first audition they chose to poke fun at judge Simon Cowell, this time spraying him with yellow and blue ribbon.

The performance got the judges on their feet too as they danced along with the Welsh youngsters. The panel were all in agreement with their admiration for the group, receiving amazing feedback across the board.

Alesha Dixon was the first judge up, she exclaimed: "Oh my word what a start, what a start to the night!" For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter .
"It's never easy being the first up but I think you have captured the spirit of this show with so much joy and energy. All of you did exceptionally well. I loved the choreography, I love that you've done this to Simon. It was absolutely wonderful."

Amanda Holden commented: "Your energy, the choreography, the music choices were just brilliant. Me and Simon were discussing the fact that we thought that was better than your audition. That's what tonight's all about."
Bruno Tunioli couldn't contain his excitement following the impressive performance, saying the group had "gone galactic". He continued: "The force is with you. I didn't think it was possible to have so much fun on stage as you did tonight, incredible."
Referring to their antics with Simon, he joked: "And your fashion designers as well. It's the best outfit Simon has had in a very long time! You look fantastic darling."

Eventually they came to Simon, who was happy to see the funny side of their pranks on him, commenting "at least you didn't make me look stupid tonight".
He said: "I think this was better than your first audition. The music was brilliant, I could see a lot more work has gone in to it and I definitely think you really have a chance of winning!
"You never know on this show, genuinely I think the public at home are going to love you."

After he'd finished sharing his thoughts the TV judge asked them to remind him what they would do with the £250,000 prize money if they won. One member of the group simply replied: "Bananas!" Each to their own!
After the performance presenter Dec encouraged them to keep targeting Simon and reflecting on the performance, said: "What a start!"

During one particularly savage round, 18 hopefuls were sent home when they failed to spot the correct sequences of letters. Did you manage to get it right? Players were shown four words and asked to spot the one that does not contain three consecutive letters from the alphabet. The options were, Unopenable, Understandable, Unquestionable, and Undefineable. It might look easy on the surface, but spotting sequences like 'DEF' or 'RST' hidden in the words proved harder than expected. Players had just 30 seconds to examine the words and pick out the correct answer. The answer turned out to be C, 'Unquestionable'. ' Unopenable' contains 'NOP', 'Undefineable' includes 'DEF', and 'Understandable' also hides 'RST'. That left as the only one without a consecutive alphabetical trio, making it the right answer. Eighteen contestants failed to spot it, knocking them out of the game in one fell swoop. The shock exit had jaws dropping in the studio. Host Lee Mack kept his cool, but couldn't hide his surprise as players who had breezed through earlier rounds were taken out by the sneaky wording. The question came late in the game, reserved for the sharpest minds — but it still managed to trip up even the most confident contestants. Previously, a whopping 20 players were wiped out in a brutally challenging picture question. The result of the 30% question changed the face of the game, shedding half of the remaining current players. Lee read aloud to the group: "How many RIGHT FOOTPRINTS can you see in the sand." An image was then displayed showcasing an assortment of footprints in the sand. Players were then given 30 seconds to differentiate between the right and left feet. The image then turned the eight right feet green in order to correctly display which of the options the players should have been looking at. The 1% Club airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
