Aubrey O'Day blasts ‘selfish' Diddy for having children in court during graphic testimonies

Yahoo18-05-2025
Danity Kane singer Aubrey O'Day called Sean 'Diddy' Combs 'selfish' for having six of his seven children appear in court during his ongoing trial in New York.
The rap mogul is facing federal charges related to sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and denies any wrongdoing.
'The fact that the kids are marching up to that court, praying over everything and walking in with a bunch of women also that are encouraging it,' O'Day said on Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes's podcast Friday.
The 'Damaged' singer, whose girl band was signed to Diddy's Bad Boy Records, continued: 'I don't know any father that would want their children to sit through testimony about how much their daddy liked to watch people [get] lubricated, f*****g, getting p****d on and urinated in their mouths, having his girlfriend come in the other room and rub their come all over his nipples.'
'Would you want your children to know about it?' she asked Holmes and Robach. 'It's concerning to me, that the optics of them being there and supporting [their] father are obviously a very strong play for the defense.'
However, not all of Diddy's children stayed throughout the proceedings. Chance, 18, and the twins Jesse and D'Lila, also 18, left the courtroom twice on May 12, while male escort Daniel Phillip shared graphic details about an alleged paid sexual encounter between himself and Ventura, which he said Combs watched while masturbating, multiple outlets reported.
'It's telling to me. It means that daddy's being selfish and he needs — in my opinion — it feels like, 'Daddy needs you in court because daddy needs all the optics to look in his favor,' and I don't really care what you have to sit through,' said O'Day.
Her comments come after she revealed she would not be taking the stand against her former mentor, despite being contacted by Homeland Security.
O'Day rose to fame in 2005 with the MTV reality show Making the Band 3, which saw Diddy form Danity Kane.
However, the record producer fired O'Day and Wanita 'D. Woods' Woodgett from the group in 2008, as captured on the show.
O'Day would have been the second member of Danity Kane to testify against him. Prosecutors revealed Thursday that Dawn Richard, 41, will be their next witness following Cassie Ventura's bombshell testimony.
The California-native has long been vocal about her experiences with Diddy, accusing him of attempting to silence her through nondisclosure agreements and has spoken about alleged mistreatment during her time in Danity Kane.
In a 2022 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, O'Day claimed she was fired from Danity Kane for not doing 'what was expected' of her — 'not talent-wise but in other areas.'
She celebrated Diddy's September 2024 arrest on X, writing: "The purpose of Justice is to provide an ending and allow us the space to create a new chapter.'
"Women never get this. I feel validated. Today is a win for women all over the world, not just me. Things are finally changing,' she added.
Diddy's trial resumes Monday.

Jamie Lee Curtis Reacted To That Busty "Freakier Friday" Video That's Going Viral

Jamie Lee Curtis's "Freaky" costume went viral for two reasons. On Aug. 15, Jamie attended a special Freakier Friday screening at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles, where guests were encouraged to "Dress Like Tess [Coleman]," Jamie's character from the movies. Related: Jamie shared a group photo with several attendees on her Instagram, each dressed in pixie wigs and bohemian flower dresses like Tess from the first Freaky Friday movie. "THE ULTIMATE OF HONORS, the SINCEREST form of flattery," Jamie wrote in the caption of the Aug. 15 post. "There was a #dressliketess GATHERING @elcapitanthtre and I the LUCKY LOS ANGELINA to be a PART OF THE LOVEFEST for the O.G. #freakyfriday and her 22 year older #freakierfriday." Jamie joined in on the fun, dressing up in one of Tess's outfits from the sequel — an off-the-shoulder, safety-pinned gray suit with a large black belt. Related: After Jamie's outfit went viral, she playfully chimed, writing in a Aug. 20 Instagram post, "I LOVE the fact that the LAST photograph of me as TESS taken backstage in costume from my surprise appearance at @elcapitanthtre to support #freakierfriday has gotten more attention than any other since the announcement post with @lindsaylohan that sparked the movie getting made! HAPPY TO HELP SPREAD THE JOY THAT OUR MOVIE SERVES!" The Freakier Friday "Tess" outfit went viral on TikTok after Disney Studios shared a promotional video featuring Jamie, with everyone obsessing over her "supporting characters." One user wrote, "Wait. Why didn't I know Jamie Lee Curtis' body was tea like that." Related: Another person said, "I was not familiar with your game before Jamie Lee Curtis." "Jamie said we selling tickets one way or another," someone else wrote. This person said, "Jamie Lee Curtis aging like fine wine." Related: Finally, someone else chimed in, writing, "Y'all have been sleeping on Ms. Jamie Lee Curtis??? She's ALWAYS been a stunner." Jamie Lee Curtis knows she's that girl. Cracker Barrel Changed Its Logo, And People Are Seriously Not Happy With The New Design

OK, full disclosure, I live in Los Angeles, where there are ZERO Cracker Barrels. Heck, I think there might be only a handful in the entire state of California, and none of them are near LA. However, I do enjoy going to eat there whenever I am out of state visiting family — I'm partial to their pancakes! Now granted, I haven't been to a Cracker Barrel in a while, but whenever I think of it — aside from the country store — I picture the dining room. It looked like a country antique fair crashed into an old lumber-filled barn, and somehow the result was oddly familiar and soothing. Recently, I was surprised when I stumbled upon a few TikToks that said that Cracker Barrel has started to redesign and update its interiors. And, while the new design is in the ~same~ vein, it's definitely a noticeable difference. Well, yesterday, Cracker Barrel announced it was changing its logo, too. Now, brands and companies do change their logos all the time to better fit with the times, but for Cracker Barrel, this is big news because they have had that same logo since 1977. Related: Needless to say, the old logo carries a lot of Cracker Barrel's identity for people, and so the internet had a LOT of reactions to the redesign. I decided to round up the funniest and most honest tweets about it, because, well, it's an institution: Editor's Note: We dive into X so you don't have to scrub your eyeballs afterward. 49ers WR Demarcus Robinson suspended 3 games following DUI charge, team trades for Chiefs WR Skyy Moore

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Demarcus Robinson will miss the first three games of the season. The NFL suspended Robinson for three games on Wednesday following his DUI arrest last November, head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed. Robinson is expected to appeal the suspension. [Join or create a Yahoo Fantasy Football league for the 2025 NFL season] 'D-Rob, we're not going to have him through the first three weeks,' Shanahan said on KNBR radio, via ESPN. 'You can always appeal it, so we'll hope for the best on that, but that's what we are planning for.' Robinson was arrested in November on a DUI charge when he was still playing with the Los Angeles Rams. He was pulled over hours following a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles after officers said they saw him driving more than 100 miles per hour on a Los Angeles-area freeway. He was cited and then released. The Rams did not suspend him for his actions. Robinson later pleaded no contest to misdemeanor DUI. He signed a two-year, $9.5 million deal to join the 49ers in free agency. With the plea deal behind him and the case now closed, the punishment is something that many had expected to be coming down before the start of the 2025 campaign. "[I'm] pretty anxious," Robinson said earlier this month about the impending suspension. "Just waiting on the outcome to see what happens with that. I really don't know the timeframe. Waiting to hear from them, obviously. It's all up to whatever the league says.' Robinson had a career-high 505 yards and seven touchdowns on 31 catches last season with the Rams. The former Florida standout was first selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He spent six seasons there, and then played one year with the Baltimore Ravens before joining the Rams in 2023. Assuming the three-game suspension is upheld, Robinson will be eligible to return and make his debut with the 49ers on Sept. 28 when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars. 49ers trade for Chiefs WR Skyy Moore With Robinson out for the start of the season and other big injuries at the position, the 49ers made a move to bolster their wide receivers room on Wednesday afternoon. The franchise struck a deal to land Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. In exchange, the teams will swap late-round draft picks in 2027. Moore had 244 yards and a touchdown on 21 catches during the 2023 season, his second with the Chiefs after they took him out of Western Michigan the year prior. Moore appeared in just six games last season and didn't make a catch, however, while being extremely limited with a long core muscle injury. Moore should provide some much needed depth for the 49ers, who are very limited at wide receiver to start the year. Star Brandon Aiyuk is still recovering from a torn ACL and MCL injury in his right knee, though he's hopeful to be back on the field around Week 6. Jauan Jennings is dealing with a calf injury amid his push for a new deal, and rookie wide receiver Jordan Watkins is recovering from a sprained ankle. The 49ers — who went 6-11 and missed the playoffs last season, just a year removed from their run to the Super Bowl — will open their season on Sept. 7 against the Seattle Seahawks.
