The Galaxy A36 5G just became cheaper than ever for Prime Day

Phone Arena08-07-2025
Who said you must pay top dollar for AI features on your phone? The Galaxy A36, for instance, packs Circle to Search, Object Eraser, and other nice features, plus it costs just under $400. But now, thanks to this Amazon Prime Day promo, you can get it for $100 off!
$100 off (25%)
Prime Day makes the Galaxy A36 5G a very compelling pick. For a limited time, you can save $100 on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3-powered phone. At that price, the phone is hard to resist, for sure. Get yours with Prime membership and save $100 while Prime Day lasts. Buy at Amazon
That's right: this Android phone has dropped to its best price for Prime Day. Given that no retailer has offered a deeper price cut before, we'd say this promo is absolutely irresistible. Hurry up if you wish to save, though, as Prime Day won't last forever. And remember: this is a Prime-exclusive sale.Featuring a beautiful 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and excellent brightness levels, the Galaxy A36 definitely packs a punch. It also sports a solid camera setup for the price: a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro camera that deliver good-looking photos.
Of course, images don't look nearly as good as, say, on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Still, as shown in our Galaxy A36 review, the photos offer good detail and mostly decent exposure, especially for a phone in this price range. And with AI-powered extras built into the camera app, the device is a good choice for casual photography. What about performance? Well, this Samsung phone is no champ when it comes to benchmarks. With its Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip, the handset is about on par with its predecessor in terms of raw horsepower. However, it's more than good enough for everyday tasks and moderate use.
Add to this budget package an impressive six-year software support promise, and you've got a pretty solid budget phone. While it might not be an ultra-compelling buy at its standard price, the Galaxy A36 5G is more than good enough at this Prime Day discount. Get yours with Prime and save $100 while the event lasts. Secure your connection now at a bargain price!

The Motorola Razr (2024) remains a solid choice for flip phone enthusiasts at $200 off

Flip phones are great — they fit easily into pockets and are fun to interact with. And when they're on sale, they're even more exciting. If you've been on the fence, now's the perfect time to jump in: Amazon is offering a generous $200 discount on the Motorola Razr (2024). $200 off (29%) Motorola's 2024-released mid-range flip phone, the Razr (2024) still holds its own. With a gorgeous design, great everyday performance, and two beautiful displays, it's a top pick for many. And now, the device sells for $200 off at Amazon, making it even more attractive. Buy at Amazon Sure, this isn't the first time the discount has popped up, but that doesn't make it any less impressive. After all, who wouldn't want to get a ~$700 phone for less than $500? Better yet, Amazon is spreading the price cut across multiple colors, making it even more attractive. But what's so awesome about this Android phone, besides the hefty price cut? Firstly, it features a beautiful 3.6-inch cover screen and a 6.9-inch main display, offering vibrant colors and a great visual experience. Still, since it's a "mid-range foldable", the device supports a 90Hz refresh rate on its cover screen and up to 120Hz on the main panel, so keep that in mind. Performance-wise, the handset delivers a fantastic everyday experience. Apps launch quickly, and day-to-day performance feels snappy. Still, as you can see from our Motorola Razr (2024) review, its MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor doesn't exactly shine on the benchmark tests. The good news is that you get pretty good-looking photos from this fella. It packs a 50MP main sensor, delivering great dynamics and vibrant colors. That said, there's some oversharpening in some settings that may make your photos look a bit less natural. Battery life is another strong point. Thanks to a 4,200mAh battery, it can keep going for over 18 hours of nonstop browsing—or more than 10 hours of continuous streaming. At the end of the day, the 2024 flip phone might not be your primary choice now that the Razr (2025) is here. However, this buddy is going for about $600 right now. So, if you're after a solid flip experience without overspending, now's your chance to save $200 on the Razr (2024) at Amazon. This is the Oukitel WP210 rugged smartphone with a 108MP camera, 8,800 mAh battery, and IP69K rating

Rugged smartphone maker Oukitel will introduce the Oukitel WP210 soon. The brand hasn't revealed its launch date yet, but we've received its images and specifications exclusively from a reliable source, telling us what to expect from the WP210 rugged smartphone. The Oukitel WP210 has the Dimensity 8200 SoC at the helm with 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage. The smartphone will run Android 15 out of the box, but we don't know how many years of software support it will receive. The Oukitel WP210 is built around a 6.7" 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED display having 550 nits typical brightness and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It also has a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication. The WP210 will feature four cameras. There will be a 32MP selfie camera (Sony IMX615-AAJH5-C) on the front and a triple camera setup on the rear, which will be a combination of a 108MP primary camera (Samsung S5KHM6SX), a 2MP macro camera (GalaxyCore GC02M1), and a depth unit (GalaxyCore GC032A). The Oukitel WP210 will pack an 8,800 mAh battery with 45W charging support. It will also have 10W reverse wired charging, allowing it to be used as a power bank to charge other devices. Other highlights of the Oukitel WP210 include NFC, IP68 and IP69K ratings, and MIL-STD-810H certification. The smartphone will be 13.7mm thick and weigh 311 g. We are told it will be advertised as "a rugged phone built for fast performance from urban missions to outdoor leisure without the bulk." The Oukitel WP210's target audience includes outdoor workers who value durability, outdoor enthusiasts (hikers, travelers, cyclists) who prefer camera performance and long-lasting battery, and businessmen who want smooth performance and long battery endurance. The Oukitel WP210 will come in red, black, and gray colors. Its launch price will be less than $400 (€345/INR34,880), and it will be available through Oukitel's website starting mid-August and on Amazon by the end of August.
