During a recent fan meetup event for the film, Khan confirmed that the 2007 classic will be streamed for free on his newly launched YouTube channel, Aamir Khan Talkies, in the run-up to the release of its sequel Sitaare Zameen Par. However, viewers will only be able to access it for one to two weeks. The announcement came at a fan meetup event The decision to stream the film came after a fan brought up a scene involving a boat during the meetup.
