The ultimate guide to Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and AC Milan's football matches in Hong Kong
When are the pre-game training sessions?
The three Premier League clubs will indeed be holding open training sessions on July 24, 29, and 30 in Kai Tak Stadium – these will be open for the public to watch in addition to the matches. The Reds will be training on July 24, the Spurs on July 29, and the Gunners on July 30. AC Milan's opening training session will be held on the evening of July 25, in Hong Kong Stadium instead of Kai Tak.
Schedule for the pre-season friendly matches
Saturday, July 26: Liverpool will face off against AC Milan
The last time the Reds were in town was back in 2017, and it's been even longer for the Rossoneri, who last played a game in Hong Kong in 2004.
Thursday, July 31: Arsenal will play against Tottenham Hotspur
This will be a fantastic opportunity to see the two north London rivals playing outside the British capital city – this is actually also their first match against each other outside of the UK. The last time Hong Kong saw Arsenal was 13 years ago in 2012.
What is the seating plan within the Kai Tak Stadium for Liverpool vs AC Milan?
Category A seats are located on the east and west sides of the stadium. This means they run the length of the pitch and offer the best view of the match. There is also a special fan zone for Liverpool supporters on the north stand, split into two price categories, while the AC Milan fan zone is on the south stand. Refer to the seating chart below for details.
What is the seating plan for the Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur match?
As with the previous match, the most expensive seats are along the east and west sides of the stadium. The Arsenal fan zone will be on the south stand, while the Spurs fans will be grouped into the north stand.
Are there still any tickets left?
As you might expect from a large sporting event with such well-known names, tickets to see Liverpool vs AC Milan and Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur have already long since sold out months ago.
However, it seems that there are still some tickets available for the open training sessions for all four teams, so if you didn't manage to snag match tickets, at least you'll still get to watch them in action on the pitch for some time!
Things to note before the football matches
Physical tickets will need to be picked up at Cityline kiosks before entry. Nine of these kiosks will be available on event days in Kai Tak Sports Park and in the Kai Tak area. There will be security checkpoints in place, so make sure you allocate enough time to get through the checks. Re-entry to the venue will not be permitted after tickets have been scanned.
What items are not allowed in the stadium?
Go through the list of prohibited items below to make sure you won't need to waste time putting your belongings in storage on the match days.
Footballs or any other variety of balls
Whistles
Plastic, glass, or metal containers of any capacity
Canned or bottled beverages
Food (excluding baby food and medicine)
Light-up banners and cheering materials
Professional cameras, camera equipment, tripods, or recording devices

In case you do need to store items, there is a baggage storage area on level 1M of the Kai Tak Arena, near Central Square. There are also lockers available in Kai Tak Mall 2 and the Airside mall.
Will there be merch stands?
Yes, there will be merchandise on sale. One counter will be located at Central Square within Kai Tak Sports Park, while the other can be found at Dining Cove towards the waterfront. These pop-up stores will open at 2pm on match days and training days, and are also available for the public to purchase without match tickets.
During the training days for Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal on July 19 and 30, a third official merch stand will also be open at level two of Celebration Hall 2 in the Kai Tak Main Stadium. This pop-up stall will be available to ticket holders. Refer to the map above for the merch stand locations, marked in green and red.
How to get to Kai Tak Stadium
Traffic tends to get tedious when there are big events in Kai Tak, so the best way to get there is by MTR. Ticketholders for gates A, B, B2, and C should alight at Sung Wong Toi MTR station and take exit D. Security checkpoint 2 is at the West Bridge, while security checkpoint 1 is located towards Dining Cove, near gate C. Ticketholders for gates D, D1, E, F, G, H, J, K, and K1 should alight the MTR at Sung Wong Toi or Kai Tak Station, taking exit D at either station. Head towards Central Square, where security checkpoint 3 is located.
There are also over 40 bus routes servicing the vicinity of Kai Tak Sports Park from all across Hong Kong. The stadium is a 15-minute walk from the Kai Tak Public Transport Interchange or the bus stop on Shing Kai Road, or a 20-minute walk from the Kowloon City Interchange (Richland Oriental Hotel / Sung Wong Toi Park).
If you absolutely must arrive by car, there are taxi pick-up and drop-off points at Kai Tak Stadium, Kai Tak Arena, and along Sung Wong Toi Road. Private cars can head to the drop-off areas at Kai Tak Stadium, Kai Tak Arena, or the Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground.
How to leave Kai Tak Stadium
Leaving the premises with a stadium full of people can be daunting, but the MTR is still probably your best bet. There will be trains that run later on event days, the latest being the 12.55am service from Kai Tak Station towards Wu Kai Sha. Aside from the aforementioned 40 bus routes servicing the area around Kai Tak Stadium, there will also be special buses on July 26 and 31, running to 11 major destinations such as Central, Siu Sai Wan, Mong Kok, Tseung Kwan O, Tuen Mun, Sheung Shui, the airport, and more.
Taxis can pick up passengers from the designated points at Kai Tak Stadium and Kai Tak Arena, while private cars are only allowed to pick up from Muk Wo Street, near exit A of Sung Wong Toi MTR station, or Ma Tau Kok Road.

William Saliba drops telling two-word update on Arsenal contract talks
Arsenal defender William Saliba was asked about progress on a new contract after the Gunners beat Newcastle 3-2 in Singapore as their preparations for the new season continue William Saliba says he will sign a contract extension with Arsenal"hopefully soon" following speculation that the club want to tie him down to a new deal soon. The Gunners have been busy in the transfer market ahead of the new Premier League season after finishing second for a third successive campaign. Deals for Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke and Cristhian Mosquera were all wrapped up last week as Mikel Arteta 's men headed off for their pre-season tour. And Arsenal followed their strong early business up by finalising a deal for Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon over the weekend. Contract talks have also been on the club's agenda this summer and there has been noise over potential talks with Saliba, who has been heavily linked with Real Madrid in recent months. The France international, 24, was asked when he was signing a new Gunners contract after Sunday's 3-2 win over Newcastle in Singapore by AFTV - and he replied positively. "Hopefully soon," Saliba said before crossing his fingers and pointing to the sky, adding: "God is great." Saliba committing his future to the club long-term would be a major boost for Arsenal. The former Saint-Etienne man has struck up a formidable partnership with Gabriel at the heart of Arsenal's defence and his current terms expire in 2027. His imperious performances for Arsenal over the past few years has seen him emerge as a target for Real Madrid, who are thought to be keen on signing Saliba next year when the Frenchman will have just 12 months left on his deal. Arsenal, though, remain determined to keep hold of one of their top stars for the foreseeable future. Speaking earlier this year, Saliba declared he was "really happy" at Arsenal in the wake of transfer speculation. "I've been here for two years and a half as well. There is nothing. I'm happy here and I want to continue here," he said. "I want to win big things with Arsenal. If you leave this club without winning anything the fans will forget about you. I want to win big things here. "I want to be one day the best defender in the world. I know I have to work a lot and to win trophies as well – but that's my dream." Man Utd transfer news: Red Devils on ‘alert' for major hijack as bombshell move made
Manchester United have already spent heavily this summer but the Red Devils' work in the transfer market looks far from finished with deals for Gianluigi Donnarumma and Idrissa Gueye Manchester United have spent heavily this summer as Ruben Amorim attempts to get the side back on track. Matheus Cunha became the Red Devils' first summer signing a few months ago. And he was very quickly followed by another big-name arrival as United chiefs finally got a £71m deal for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo over the line. But Amorim's side might not be totally finished there. A striker and a new goalkeeper are among the players that they could move for in the remainder of the window. But with three weeks to go until their Premier League opener against Arsenal, they need to get a move on. Away from incomings, a few more exits might also be on the agenda. Marcus Rashford has already completed a loan move to Barcelona, while Antony, Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho could all still leave. With all of that being said, take a look at all of the latest transfer news and rumours from Old Trafford. United on 'alert' for Donnarumma Manchester United are keeping a close eye on developments surrounding Gianluigi Donnarumma's future at PSG. Talks over a new contract for the Italian goalkeeper have come to a standstill over recent weeks, and it appears that the French giants are ready to move on. According to L'Equipe, they are in talks with Ligue 1 rivals Lille regarding a deal for Lucas Chevalier, who is seen as a replacement for Donnarumma. And that has seen a couple of Premier League sides sit up and take notice. Manchester United have a long-term interest in the former AC Milan man, while Manchester City are also eyeing him as a possible replacement for Ederson should he decide to leave the Etihad. Red Devils plot Brentford hijack Manchester United could be set to frustrate Brentford more after their protracted move for Bryan Mbeumo. According to The Sun, they are going head-to-head with the Bees for the signing of Metz teenager Idrissa Gueye. The youngster caught the eye in Ligue 2 last season, scoring five goals in 17 appearances. United see him as one for the future, while Brentford would offer him first-team football straight away. Man United have already been left annoyed by Brentford's actions this summer during their talks regarding forward Bryan Mbeumo. Amorim confirms Mbeumo plan Speaking of United's recent signing, boss Ruben Amorim has confirmed that Mbeumo is not quite ready to make his debut for the Red Devils yet. He said: 'Bryan is starting slowly. "He is not going to play in the next one. We hope to have Bryan in the last game [in the United States]. He's training now, so we'll see." Mbeumo's £71m move to Old Trafford was finally confirmed last week. Join our new WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Mirror Football content. Jack Conan reveals video from Katie Taylor inspired Lions before second Test win
Taylor, an Olympic gold medal winner and current undisputed world super lightweight champion, sent the good luck message to Andy Farrell's squad in the build-up to Saturday's second Test at Melbourne Cricket Club. The 39-year-old's words on the ability to dig deep turned out to be prophetic as the Lions emerged 29-26 winners after fighting back from an 18-point deficit. 'The video was unbelievably poignant and powerful. It spoke about being prepared to win with skill, but also being ready to win by will,' said Ireland number eight Conan, who like Taylor hails from Bray in County Wicklow. History made 🦁#Lions2025 — British & Irish Lions (@lionsofficial) July 26, 2025 'That was something that was massively summed up in the game because we were not at our best at all. 'It's huge because she comes from the town I'm from. I'm incredibly proud of where I come from and I know Katie is as well. 'She's gone on to achieve incredible feats in the boxing world. To be such a superstar, incredibly humble and driven is something that we leant on as well because we knew that Australia are a hugely proud nation and they showed it in spades. 'Everyone loved it, even the English and the Scottish boys and the Welsh boy – it resonated with everyone. It was unbelievably poignant, it was class. It really hit home for us.' It took a beautifully-taken try by Hugo Keenan with 51 seconds remaining to separate the rivals in one of the greatest Lions matches ever played. Remarkably, Keenan's touchdown was the first time they led in the match. Conan admits that victory tastes all the sweeter for having been taken to the wire as Australia raised their game to a whole new level a week after starting the series with a whimper in Brisbane. 'We were not at our best by any measure, but physically the lads dug in unbelievably well,' he said. Full time scenes in Melbourne 🥹🦁#Lions2025 — British & Irish Lions (@lionsofficial) July 26, 2025 'It was disappointing how we played, but we played for 80 minutes. Hugo getting over the line in the last minute was just unbelievable. 'It wasn't my best game. A lot of us weren't at the races at all, but we stuck in there. You can't fault the effort. I thought the defensive sets we put in, just whacking people and just staying in there, was unbelievable. 'It's something that will go down in history. They won't be writing the history books about how s*** we were, but they'll say that we won and that's all that matters. 'Everyone's over the moon. To be part of a Lions winning series team is incredibly special. The celebrations in the changing room wouldn't have been the same if we'd won by 20.'
