Schindler's List actor, who was approached for James Bond, is insecure about his legs: ‘I always feel people are watching them'

Actor Liam Neeson is known Schindler's List and his high-octane action films, which have bullets flying all over the place, and bad guys trembling upon hearing merely his voice on the other side of the phone. While Neeson has occasionally explored his dramatic side, the actor's comedic roles are few and far between. But now Neeson is returning to the big screen with a reboot of the iconic movie Naked Gun starring the legendary Leslie Nielsen. During the promotional run for Naked Gun, the actor shared several anecdotes from the production of the film and some personal things as well.
While appearing on The Late Show, Neeson told host Stephen Colbert about his biggest insecurity, his legs. He got uncomfortable when Colbert pulled out a snapshot of a scene from the trailer of Naked Gun, where the actor is wearing a skirt and red and white underwear. Neeson sidestepped the 'nice legs' compliment given by Colbert and said, 'Oh please, as a kid, and I still do, I have always had a thing about my legs. We all have things about parts of our body, don't we? My legs was always my bad thing. When I was a boxer as a kid, I used to get very conscious of my legs. You're wearing just a vest and pair of shorts, and I used to keep thinking, 'Oh my god, they are looking at my legs,' and then I used to get punched.'

Talking about The Naked Gun, Liam Neeson shared how he got roped into the project and said, 'I had worked previously with Seth McFarlane about 9 years ago, who is a wickedly funny guy, and then he called me 4 years ago and said that they are interested in rebooting Naked Gun. He asked me whether I would be interested in playing the son of Frankie Dreben (Leslie). I asked him, 'How much?' Then once I heard his answer, I said yes.' Neeson also talked about the intimate scene he has with Pamela Anderson in the film and how it felt to lay it all bare on the screen.
'I wish I could say that it was me who was naked in the shot, but it's not. It was in contract actually, and there is a scene with Pamela and this other person, who is supposed to be very cold to whatever is happening. It was my first time working with an intimacy coordinator, and I have to admit it was a little bit strange. I mean, Pamela and I knew what to do,' said Neeson.
This statement comes just a day after Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson admitted that their on-screen romance might be spilling over into their real lives. The Taken actor talked about their dating rumours on the Today Show and said, 'I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry—as two actors, it's like, 'Oh, this is nice. Let's not mull this. Let's just let it breathe.''

Well, their attitude towards each other during the premiere of Naked Gun and posts on Pamela's Instagram all hint at the fact that something is brewing between these two.

Jimmy Kimmel, nominated for Emmy, supports Stephen Colbert for award in big billboard Ad: What's cooking?

In an unprecedented and surprise move, comedian Jimmy Kimmel appeared on billboard, urging Emmy voters to support 'The Late Show With Stephen Colbert' for outstanding talk series rather than his own nominated program 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'. The billboard was displayed at the high-traffic intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and La Cienega in West Hollywood. The "strategically" placed advertisement featured a simple yet powerful message: 'I'm voting for Stephen.' The billboard's location — situated near major entertainment offices and within blocks of the Television Academy headquarters — ensures maximum visibility among Emmy voters. According to Vanity, the billboard served as both a gesture of support for fellow late-night host Stephen Colbert and a pointed commentary on CBS's recent cancellation of 'The Late Show.' Stephen Colbert's Late Show was unceremoniously cancelled by CBS days after he was nominated for an Emmy in the Outstanding Talk Series category. CBS cancelled Colbert's program last month prior to Paramount Global's merger with Skydance Media, Variety reported. It had cited cost-cutting measures as the primary reason for ending the long-running series. However, the cancellation of the show sparked speculation about potential political motivations, given late-night television's increasingly critical coverage of political figures, including President Donald Trump. In a statement previously shared with PEOPLE, CBS said, "This is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night. It is not related in any way to the show's performance, content, or other matters happening at Paramount." Colbert took over the show in September 2015 following David Letterman's departure. The cancellation came days after Colbert openly criticised the network's parent company for its sizable settlement with President Donald Trump. Following the network's announcement to cancel the popular program on July 17, several late-night hosts showed solidarity for Colbert, including Kimmel and Jon Stewart, who hosts The Daily Show. Immediately after the cancellation news, Kimmel reportedly shared a clip of Colbert from the July 17 broadcast. "Love you Stephen," Kimmel wrote. He also called out the network behind the decision. "F--- you and all your Sheldons CBS," Kimmel added. This year's talk series category features 'The Late Show With Stephen Colbert' alongside ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' and Comedy Central's 'The Daily Show.' The category represents one of only 15 Emmy categories decided by the full Television Academy membership, amplifying the impact of Kimmel's public endorsement. The 77th Emmy Awards, hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze, will broadcast live on Sunday, Sept. 14, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS. The ceremony will also stream live and on-demand through select Paramount+ packages.

During a SiriusXM Town Hall event in New York City, he said: 'Well, you know, we had never met before and I remember thinking: 'Wow, she is gorgeous' but she had this wonderful sense of silliness and just humanity about her." He added: 'I don't want to blow her head up, but it was like I just felt an ease with her, you know, and we discovered a silliness with each other, which was terrific, you know?" A recent report suggested they have been spending time together at Pamela's home in Canada after bonding over her love of gardening and baking. A source told 'Pam is very drawn to Liam because he is totally open to her way of thinking and living, and especially her approach to fame, which is impressive.
