Social media star Ariela La Langosta, who starred in rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine's 'Wapae' music video in 2023, has died at age 33. The Dominican influencer's death was confirmed by the Westchester County Police Department in New York, who said the model — real name Ariela Mejia-Polanco — was found dead in her car on the Cross County Parkway Aug. 17. Following a preliminary investigation, police determined that Ariela died of gunshot wounds and was 'likely targeted for violence,' according to a statement shared on Facebook. 6 Social media star Ariela La Langosta has died at age 33. @ 'The woman found deceased in her car on the Cross County Parkway on Sunday died as a result of gunshot wounds, the Westchester County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed today,' police said in a statement.
