Pregnant mom and daughter are due 10 weeks apart—so they recreated Father of the Bride in real life

When mom-to-be Annicka Gustin found out she was pregnant, she knew she'd have someone by her side who understood every part of the experience—her mom. Not just because Micka Wright Perry had done it before (10 times, to be exact), but because she was doing it again alongside her daughter. Annicka and her mom, Micka, are expecting baby girls just 10 weeks apart. Gustin is 25, and Perry is 46. They've been sharing the joys and surprises of pregnancy together. It's rare enough to be pregnant with your best friend. To experience it with your mom? That's something out of a movie. So, they made one. Related: There's a new 'Father of the Bride' movie and the trailer is absolutely perfect The duo recently recreated the iconic slapstick workout scene from the 1995 Father of the Bride Part II, where Annie and her mom, Nina, go through pregnancy side by side. In the film, the two wobble through a hilariously dramatic prenatal aerobics class, complete with matching outfits and plenty of synchronized chaos. With Annicka's husband, Sean, stepping in as a very convincing 'Franck,' the trio suited up in 90s-inspired outfits and mimicked the hilarious routine from the film—squats, synchronized stepping, and all. In their joint Instagram post, the caption read:'Getting pregnant at the same time as my mom was the easy part. Finding Franck was the hard part.' They added, 'Happy we could seize this once in a lifetime opportunity to recreate this iconic scene from Father of the Bride 2 .' The video is fun, but what stands out most is the closeness between the two. While rare, shared pregnancies like this can offer unique emotional support. Experts say maternal closeness during pregnancy can ease anxiety and strengthen intergenerational bonds. 'We have been having too much fun being pregnant at the same time,' they wrote. And their joy is contagious. Commenters flooded the video with love, admiration, and plenty of double-takes: 'Okay, but who is the mom and who is the daughter?! Those are some fantastic genes!' wrote @storyofthemomlife. Another, @rebeccaburdcoaching, added, ' This is AMAZING!! Congratulations to you both! ' For Annicka, this pregnancy has been shaped in a powerful way by having her mom close through every stage. Grateful to have my mom to lean on, to ask all my questions to, to share my anxieties with and to prepare for birth with,' she shared in a May Instagram update. Perry, who is due this week with her 11th baby (and her seventh girl), first announced her pregnancy back in February. Annicka followed in April, capturing the moment she told her mom and siblings in a joyful family reveal. Now, with just weeks until they meet their babies, the two are soaking up this experience together. Pregnancy looks different for every family, and there's no one right way to prepare. But connection, conversation, and shared experience can ease anxiety and make the journey feel a little more grounded. Looking to build your own support system? Why Teens Are Talking About ‘Jet2 Holidays' Right Now

If you have teens in your life — or are just as chronically online as we are! — then you've probably heard, 'Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday!' repeatedly lately. Teens love repeating this phrase on TikTok and IRL, but no, it has nothing to do with promoting the airline company Jet2. Middle school teacher Mr. Lindsay, aka, the guru of all things teen slang, gave his weekly update on what kids are saying right now. Along with, 'I'm a Mommy' and 'Mamacita' from Love Island and Justin Bieber's, 'It's not clocking to you,' Mr. Lindsay quotes, 'Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday, where you can save £50 per person.' More from SheKnows New Research Says Smartphones Contribute to 'Detachment From Reality' in Kids - Yet 81% Have Them What? Why have teens locked in on this ad? It's actually just one of those random things, and the resulting videos are actually pretty funny. According to Know Your Meme, this phrase comes from a YouTube ad for a British airline. The ad, set to 'Hold My Hand' by Jess Glynne, features a British female voice saying the phrase Mr. Lindsay quotes. The sound went viral on TikTok, where teens started sharing videos of chaotic, underwhelming, dangerous, or stupid scenarios set to the sound. So far, 1.6 million videos have been made with this sound on TikTok. This one shows a teen opening the curtains of a hotel room to reveal a tiny window. Like this one, where a kid was hit in the face by a fish or this one, where an elephant grabbed a girl around the mouth. It's silly and funny, and we love it. 'Chances are if you have a social media account and you live in 2025 on planet Earth, you've heard my voice,' the voice actor behind the viral sound, Zoë Lister, said in a TikTok video, adding that she is 'in a permanent state of stupid joy, slight anxiety and overwhelm, and 'What the f— is going on?'' We can only imagine hearing your own voice all over social media and hearing teens repeat it in life too. This is just another silly teen slang trend, like meltmaxxing or 'holy airball.'
