What was it like for you seeing the NFL jersey for the first time?

Yeah, it's surreal, no doubt.
Um, obviously it's our first time seeing it, so to kind of, you know, put it all together.
This is my first time wearing number 6, so it's sick to see it for the first time.
Well, the number 6 for you, quite honestly, I just wanted to wear a single DJ, so that was an option for me.
Talk about draft.
How was that experience like for you, man, I wish I could get that phone call every day.
Uh, I take to be with my family.
What a little baby, uh, to be with my family back home and all those who supported me along the way and, um, you know, just to see it all come through and, and the childhood, um, you know, something I've been working for since a kid.

No, it was special.
Uh, right when I got the call, I knew who it was, so I was super excited and this was the place I wanted to be, so I'm up for it.
How to play in New York?
Oh, the best, you know, as a competitor, you want to play on the biggest stages.
You want to play in front of the most passionate fan base, so to be in New York and you know try to do our jobs to turn this thing around will be awesome and you know there's not a better place than New York.
After seeing the schedule drop this week, who are you most excited to face?

Oh, that's a good question.
I think week 3 will be awesome, uh, you know, being able to play against Pat, um, you know, who I think is the best in the game right now.
So, um, super excited for all of them though.
Is there any one player that's not on your team that you're most excited to face in the NFL?
My former Ole Miss teammate Trey Harris, that'll be sweet to play.

That's a lesson the Washington Commanders know they must be careful with regarding Pro Bowl wide receiver Terry McLaurin. The Ohio State product is entering the final year of his contract with Washington, and is coming off his best season. He recorded a career-high 13 touchdowns with rookie phenom Jayden Daniels throwing him the football. McLaurin is going to be 30 years old by the time the 2025 season begins, though. While he hasn't shown any signs of slowing down just yet, a decline can happen to any aging player. Advertisement If Washington is going to give their top receiver a long-term extension, they want to make sure they have enough protection on their own end where they won't be hurt by the cap if McLaurin's production dips. It is about a contract with escapability. Add it all up? And it's a good enough reason for the receiver to be frustrated with how contract talks have gone. Washington could be in deep trouble if they extend McLaurin and his Pro Bowl production isn't matched as he gets older. Giving him an extension in the $30 million APY range without the Commanders providing themselves an Eventual out may do more harm than good for the team in the long term. It just means Washington needs to be extra careful how they spend their money now and over the next few years. … with a compromise here being the eventual best answer. 'That's definitely all she's been talking about so far after finding out like she's adamant about getting this split jersey done for the game,' Trevor Etienne said. 'I think she got in touch with Amon-Ra St. Brown's father and see how he did it. We were at the NFLPA, and I think she was able to get in touch with him at the premiere, and I think she was able to figure out how he did it and get some pointers and tips on how to handle that, on how to get this split jersey.'
