She explained to her son that Peppa has a tendency to be 'not nice' and a 'bully' which is why they won't be watching her anymore. A decision that Kia is totally onboard with. Nintendo announces stars of live-action 'The Legend of Zelda' movie
Nintendo has cast its top-billed stars for the upcoming live-action "The Legend of Zelda" movie. In a statement shared to X on Wednesday, Nintendo director Shigeru Miyamoto said the iconic characters Link and Princess Zelda would be played by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth and Bo Bragason, respectively. "I am very much looking forward to seeing both of them on the big screen," he said. "The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 7, 2027. Thank you for your patience." Link is the central protagonist of the hit video game series, who is tasked with saving his kingdom and helping Zelda, the Hylian princess of Hyrule. Sixteen-year-old Ainsworth previously voiced Pinocchio opposite Tom Hanks in the 2022 Disney live-action adaptation of "Pinocchio" and starred as Miles Wingrave in "The Haunting of Bly Manor" on Netflix. English actress Bragason, 20, previously appeared in the British series "Three Girls" and "The Jetty," as well as "Renegade Nell" on Disney+ and the 2024 British comedy horror film "The Radleys" alongside Damian Lewis and Kelly Macdonald. "The Legend of Zelda" is set to hit theaters on May 7, 2027.

How ‘Sirens' shocked with 4 Emmy nominations
Fans of Sirens received a few welcome surprises on Emmy nomination morning — four to be exact. While the Netflix original limited series was a big hit for the streamer, it wasn't seen as a major awards contender. That changed this morning, however, when Sirens snagged a quartet of nominations within the Limited, Anthology Series, or Movie categories. Though she had been previously nominated for her work on the second season of The White Lotus, Fahy was far from a sure thing in the category. Prior to nominations, Gold Derby predictions had Fahy ranked 15th in the category, behind actresses like Renée Zellweger from Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy and Kaitlyn Dever from Apple Cider Vinegar, who both missed out on nominations. Sirens also made it into the competitive directing category with Nicole Kassell, who was nominated for her work on the first episode, "Exile," alongside directors from The Penguin, Dying for Sex, Adolescence, and Zero Day. Rounding out the Sirens nominations were Best Limited/Movie Contemporary Costumes and Best Limited/Movie Picture Editing. Gold Derby spoke with series creator Molly Smith Metzler shortly after the series debuted in June, and the writer downplayed her hopes for any awards attention, despite strong early buzz.
