Shubman Gill REACTS To Dating Rumours With Sara Tendulkar, Sara Ali Khan, Avneet Kaur: 'So Ridiculous'
Shubman Gill dismissed dating rumors with Sara Tendulkar, Sara Ali Khan, and Avneet Kaur as "ridiculous," clarifying he's been single for over three years.
Shubman Gill is NOT here for the dating rumours! The cricketer recently responded to all the chatter linking him with a few big names including Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara Tendulkar, actress Sara Ali Khan, and even Avneet Kaur. During an interview, Shubman called the rumours 'so ridiculous" and laughed off the idea of being romantically involved with any of them.
In a candid chat with The Hollywood Reporter India, Shubman Gill cleared the air about those pesky dating rumours. He set the record straight, revealing that he's been single for over three years now, despite all the buzz linking him to various names.
'There have been so many rumours and speculations linking me with different people. And sometimes, it would be so ridiculous that I've never seen or met that person ever in my life. Right now, I'm so focused on what I need to do in my professional career. There's no space in my life to be able to be with someone. Three hundred days, we're on the road, travelling somewhere. So there's hardly any time to invest in a relationship with someone," said Shubman.
Sara Ali Khan isn't having any of the Shubman Gill dating rumours either! When asked about her alleged linkup with the cricketer on Koffee with Karan Season 8, the actress had a hilarious response. As the audience cheered 'Sara! Sara!" while Shubman was batting, she quipped, 'You've got the wrong Sara, guys! Sara ka sara duniya galat Sara ke peechhe pada hai" (The whole world is after the wrong Sara).
But Shubman didn't exactly clear things up either. On Dil Diyan Gallan with Sonam Bajwa, when asked if he was dating Sara, he played it coy, responding with a cheeky 'Maybe." Sonam kept pressing, saying, 'Sara ka sara sach bolo" (Tell the whole truth), to which he fired back, 'Sara da sara sach bol diya" (I've told the truth).
And just when fans thought it couldn't get any more complicated, Shubman was linked to actor Avneet Kaur, who starred in Tiku Weds Sheru. The buzz started after Avneet shared pics from the Champions Trophy win in Dubai, where Shubman was a standout performer. One of the photos featured the cricketer, sending fans into overdrive with fresh dating speculation.
Shubman Gill is quickly becoming one of the brightest stars on the Indian cricket team. At just 25, this all-rounder is not only the opening batter for India in One Day Internationals but also serves as the vice-captain of the team in that format. On top of that, he's leading the charge as captain of Gujarat Titans in the current Indian Premier League.
Well, if you were hoping for some juicy details about Shubman's love life, sorry to disappoint. Looks like he's staying single… or maybe just keeping it private
