Paul Walker's character returning to Fast & Furious 12 years after his death

Metro30-06-2025
Vin Diesel has teased that the late Paul Walker will feature in Fast and Furious 11 despite the actor's tragic death in 2013.
The 57-year-old actor – who has portrayed Dominic 'Dom' Toretto in the Fast and Furious franchise since its debut in 2001 – admitted one of his 'conditions' for returning for a final movie in the series was to bring back Brian O'Conner, played by Walker.
The cop-turned-street racer was played by his friend until he died in a car accident in 2013, aged 40.
Walker was in the passenger seat of his Porsche Carrera GT – driven by friend Roger Rodas – when the vehicle spun out of control, crashing into two trees and exploding in a fireball.
Speaking at Fuel Fest in California over the weekend, Diesel said: 'The studio said to me, 'Vin, can we please have the finale of Fast and Furious [in] April 2027?
'I said, 'Under three conditions.' First, is to bring the franchise back to LA. The second thing was to return to the car culture, to the street racing. The third thing was reuniting Dom and Brian O'Conner.'
It is unclear how the character could return to the series, and Vin didn't expand on whether archive footage or a digital creation would be used.
Walker was brought back to life in Fast 7, the seventh film in the Fast and Furious franchise, which was released in 2015.
In the final moments of the film, the actor can be seen driving away after giving his co-star one last smile.
The stunt was pulled off by using deep AI and CGI technology to place the late actor's face onto his brother Cody Walker's face, who was driving the car.
The actor's daughter, Meadow Walker, had a cameo appearance in Fast X to 'honour her father's legacy.'
The last film in the franchise was Fast X, which was released in May 2023 and was initially advertised as the first of a two-part saga, but it is now unclear whether Fast 11 will pick up the story after such a lengthy delay. More Trending
Alan Ritchson was a newcomer in Fast X as Agent Aimes, and he recently admitted the next movie has been delayed because it takes so long to coordinate the schedules of stars in the franchise, such as Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Jason Momoa.
Alan told Screen Rant: 'We talk about it quite often. That is one of the biggest challenges that the franchise faces is that you've got a lot of guys like Dwayne and Vin and Momoa and myself and everybody's super busy. So trying to get the stars to align so we can make that happen is a feat of nature.
'So we'll see how it goes, but this is a passion project for Universal and it's one that I had a blast doing, so I'd love to get in there, and I'll bring it to life again.'

Conjoined sisters Abby and Brittany Hensel spotted carrying newborn baby

Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel have been pictured carrying a newborn baby one year after their secret wedding was revealed. Images show the pair, 34, holding the baby in a car seat near a car in Arden Hills, Minnesota, on Thursday. They were last in the public spotlight a year ago after it was revealed Abby had married dad-of-one Joshua Bowling three years before in 2021. Joshua shared a wedding day picture on his Facebook, showing the couple with Brittany. The family already sparked pregnancy rumours in December after they shared an uncaptioned video on Tiktok featuring a series of fake 'breaking' news headlines referencing them. One of the headlines read 'Shocking Tragedy', while another said: 'What if one dies?' The final headline, showcased at the end of the video, read: 'Married & baby on the way,' leading fans to speculate if the twins used the clip to soft-launch a pregnancy. Abby and Brittany are yet to confirm any pregnancy. The two shot to fame on reality TV and first appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 1996 when they were just six-years-old. They now work as teachers in Minnesota and are the rarest conjoined twins because they come from a single fertilised egg that failed to fully separate in the womb. The pair have two brains, two spinal cords and two hearts, but share organs from below the waist. More Trending Abby controls the right arm and leg and Brittany controls the left. In a previous documentary about their life, the pair said: 'People have been curious about us since we were born, for obvious reasons. 'But our parents never let us use that as an excuse. We were raised to believe we could do anything we wanted to do. 'The most amazing thing about us is we are like everyone else.' Clarkson's Farm's Kaleb Cooper handles becoming dad again in hilariously 'farmer

If four seasons of Clarkson's Farm have taught us anything, it's that farmers are an unflappable bunch. Even in the face of declining harvests, biblical floods, and Jeremy Clarkson's innovative (and by innovative we mean calamitous) farming techniques, nothing gets them down. It's perhaps unsurprising then that Kaleb Cooper – Jeremy's right-hand man and farm manager – remained incredibly cool-headed while his wife went into labour with their third child. Jeremy told the story in his column for The Sun, writing: 'The boy wonder Kaleb Cooper, who manages my farm, received word this week that his wife was in labour. ''Right,' he said. 'I'll be there when I've finished harvesting this field.' 'How farmerish is that?!?!' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video According to Jeremy, once he'd finished the harvest, Kaleb's attention turned to naming the newborn. One of their friends supposedly thought it would be a good idea to name the kid after the field that Kaleb had been harvesting when the news came through. As nice an idea as this was, Jeremy did point out one flaw: 'the field was called Deadman.' Yeah… maybe not. The news that Kaleb has welcomed his third child will come as sweet relief to the hard workers on Diddly Squat Farm, which has been his by repeated disasters in recent months. In July, Jeremy revealed that one of his cows had tested positive for TB, which meant they had to quarantine the cattle farm and one of their newborn puppies passed away. More Trending Following that, the 65-year-old revealed that the harvest this year had been catastrophically bad. Finally, the former Top Gear host turned farming advocate revealed filming on Clarkson's Farm had been disrupted by JD Vance's visit to the Cotswolds. Still, the bad news didn't stop Jeremy from celebrating A-Level results day with his annual tweet telling students not to worry about their results, as his were bad and he now has a helicopter pad. UK's biggest ever EuroMillions jackpot of £210,000,000 up for grabs on Tuesday

A huge EuroMillions prize has been rolled over to £210million after no one won last night's jackpot. Nobody successfully matched all seven of their numbers to claim last night's huge £201million jackpot. The EuroMillions winning numbers drawn on Friday were 13, 30, 35, 36, 40, as well as Lucky Star numbers two and six. The Thunderball numbers were 7, 19, 25, 35, 37 and the Thunderball was two. Tuesday's huge jackpot would make for a record National Lottery win if claimed by a single person, the competition has confirmed. All lottery winners have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their winnings. Recent winners include dearest friends Carly Wiggett and Becky Witt who used a horoscope to win £168,000 each. A family from Cork, Ireland who won £216,000,000 and revealed they plan to stay in their home city, with no 'outrageous plans to spend the cash yet – except maybe a Rolex'. More Trending But not all big winners have had a fairytale ending, with some falling victim to assassination, abduction, substance abuse and, somewhat ironically, financial trouble. The numbers of millionaire winners whose lives have taken a turn for the worse have led some to dub it a curse. To win the next week's unprecedented estimated jackpot, entrants must have five winning numbers, as well as two EuroMillions Lucky Star numbers. For the Thunderball, players need to match all five main numbers plus the Thunderball. Get in touch with our news team by emailing us at webnews@ For more stories like this, check our news page.
