A video capturing their adorable exchange has now surfaced online. As shared in the clip, the girl had only ever seen police officers in cartoons. But meeting one in person sparked a reaction so pure and innocent, it has been winning hearts all over the internet.
'High Five!': Adorable Girl's Reaction
The clip, shared on Instagram, shows a police officer inside a train coach interacting with a curious young girl. The officer greets her with 'Happy journey", after which the woman behind the camera prompts the child to respond with 'Thank you."
But instead of just saying thank you, the excited girl stretches out her hand and says, 'High five," to which the officer gladly responds. He then smiles and asks, 'How are you? I am fine."
An overlay text in the video reads: 'POV: Little one just met a real police officer, not the screen police cartoon. Her mind is officially blown."
Internet Reacts To The Heartwarming Clip
Since being posted, the video has gained over three lakh views. Many users commented with love for both the little girl and the officer's humble attitude.
'Humble with uniform," wrote one user.
Another added, 'How lovely she sounds," while a person simply said, 'She's so cute."
Although the number of written comments was limited, the section was largely filled with heart emojis.
A Flashback
Such heartwarming moments involving children and uniformed officers often gain attention for all the right reasons. One similar video from 2022 shows two little boys saluting an Army man.
In that clip, the boys were seen waiting beside a parked car on the roadside. At first, they appear unsure, but their faces light up when the person inside offers them chocolates.
One of the boys thanks the Army man with a cheerful 'Thank you." As the car drives off, the other child stands straight and gives a crisp salute and shouts 'Jai Hind" with pride.
This small but meaningful moment often brought smiles to many online viewers at the time.

According to the documents, stamp duty relaxation was granted in line with the Maharashtra government's policy offering concessions to women homebuyers. The apartment was purchased at ₹32,000 per sq ft along with two car parkings, the documents show. An email query sent to Shweta Tripathi and Supreme Universal did not get any response.
