According to a report by Bloomberg, following his unceremonious firing by Tesla CEO, his friends and former colleagues urged him to take a much-needed break from the intense Twitter saga, but Agrawal chose a different path.
'I'm not a person that can enjoy the beach in that moment,' Agrawal shared, showing his immediate drive to build anew. He immersed himself in intense meetings at a
Palo Alto
coffee shop, delving into research papers, writing code and creating the startup from his laptop.
Agrawal said that he received numerous job offers but most were uninspiring, asking him to 'clean up shit,' as he put it. With his extensive background in building machine learning systems at Twitter, Agrawal was convinced his next venture had to be in AI.
He said that just a month after his departure from Twitter, OpenAI launched

His contributions included work on core products like Twitter's initial advertising technology and its algorithmic timeline. He was appointed Dorsey's successor in late 2021.

Udupi: Udupi-Chikmagalur MP Kota Shrinivas Poojary directed officials and engineers to promptly complete the ongoing national highway development projects in the district to facilitate smooth public transportation . He was speaking at a meeting held at the deputy commissioner's office in Manipal on Saturday to discuss the progress of National Highway 169A and the Indrali railway overpass. "The delay in completing the national highway projects is causing inconvenience to the public, with roads filled with potholes due to rain, which need urgent repair and maintenance," the MP noted. "The necessary compensation for land acquisition for the roadwork from Karavali Junction to Malpe should be provided in a timely manner, and concrete work on the road should begin in the first week of Sept. The project at Karavali Junction should be completed to allow light vehicles to pass through, and temporary roads should be repaired before starting permanent works," he said. "The project reports for the Hebri-Chara and Agumbe Ghat highways are ready, and the tender processes should be completed quickly to start the projects. Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said that green hydrogen represents the "energy of the future" and will play a decisive role in protecting biodiversity, reducing carbon emissions, and improving human health. "With abundant water resources, UP is well-positioned to emerge as a hub for green hydrogen production," the CM said. Inaugurating Uttar Pradesh's first and the country's second green hydrogen plant at Khanimpur in Gorakhpur, set up by Torrent Gas and Torrent Power, the CM underlined that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of achieving net zero emissions had set the agenda for sustainable growth. "If we wish to save humanity and civilization, we must minimize carbon emissions. Green energy will be crucial not just for the environment but also for reducing diseases caused by pollution," he said. The Gorakhpur facility will blend green hydrogen with CNG and PNG for domestic and industrial use.
