Is Beyoncé Teasing Act III In New Levi's Ad? Fans Are Convinced She's Soft-Launching A New Era
With Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour now over, her Hive are now in full swarm looking for any morsels of information about what she could have lined up next. And it looks like Queen Bey might have given her fans something new to buzz about… Back in 2022, Beyoncé announced she had a 'three-act project', the first instalments of which, Renaissance and Cowboy Carter, have already been unveiled. While Renaissance saw Bey diving into all things dance, follow-up Cowboy Carter saw her trying her hand at country music, for which she scooped the coveted Album Of The Year title at the Grammys earlier this year. Speculation has been rife about what genre the Crazy In Love singer could be trying her hand at for the mysterious Act III – with her new Levi's ad appearing to confirm one popular theory that she'll be diving into rock and roll. The ad campaign – accompanied, of course, by Bey's Cowboy Carter cut Levi's Jeans – mostly sees her playing up to the imagery of her most recent era, arriving on the scene on a horse and wearing a cowboy hat for most of the clip. However, when things end, she exits the scene on a motorbike, fuelling speculation this is Bey's way of saying goodbye to the Cowboy Carter and leaning into a rockier edge on what's next. And let's just say this subtle detail hasn't exactly gone unnoticed by the fans… Fans have been mostly convinced that Act III will feature a rock-inspired scene for some time now. As well as allusions to rock stars like Little Richard and Chuck Berry in the Cowboy Carter tour, Bey's 2022 interview with British Vogue was accompanied by one picture on which she appeared with darker hair and makeup, and sat atop a motorbike. Last year, Beyoncé appeared on the cover of CR Fashion Book sporting an asymmetric mullet, which again led fans to speculate about a rockier sound for Act III. Before trying her hand at country music on Cowboy Carter, Bey had experimented with the genre in the past, most notably on the Lemonade cut Daddy Lessons. Similarly, she's also dipped her toe into the rock world multiple times in the past, teaming up with Jack White on the stand-out Lemonade track Don't Hurt Yourself, performing live with Tina Turner and Prince in the past and covering Alanis Morissette's You Oughta Know multiple times in concert, including while headlining at Glastonbury in 2011. Parents Are Divided Over Kylie Kelce's Controversial Approach To Her Kids Having Cell Phones, And I'm Curious To Know Your Thoughts
As you may know, Kylie Kelce and her husband, Jason Kelce, are mom and dad to four daughters: 5-year-old Wyatt, 4-year-old Elliotte, 2-year-old Bennett, and 4-month-old Finnley. And 33-year-old Kylie often opens up about her parenting experience on her podcast, Not Gonna Lie — and she recently left other parents divided when she shared her plans for her children's cell phone usage when they're older. Related: On the podcast, Kylie said that she has already decided that she's not going to let her kids have their own cell phones as teens. She explained: 'I actually believe that we will be doing what I'm calling the 'kitchen phone.'" 'In other words, there will be one or two extra cell phones besides mom and dad's cell phone that they can take with them if they have somewhere they're going where there will not be a parent, or if they will need to get a hold of us, or if they're at something sports related, whatever,' she went on. Related: 'They can take one of those cell phones,' Kylie continued. 'The cell phones are only kept to the first floor of the house. You can still have your friends have that phone number, they can still call you, you can still use the phone on the first floor of the house… But they live in the kitchen.' 'So, they're not going to go upstairs, they're not going to the basement, they're going nowhere but the first floor,' she concluded. 'Communal living space.' However, not everybody was on board with Kylie's approach, with many fans arguing that her plan is unrealistic. Commenting on a TikTok video of this moment in the podcast, one person wrote: 'I think this is really easy to say when your kids are little. wait until you have teenagers in the house. Things get real then.' Somebody else claimed: 'oh geez. phones are part of life. teach them how to use it responsibly instead of making it a bigger deal than it is.' 'Immediately picked on in school about this. My grandson is 9 tells us how kids get made fun of if they 'can't' have a phone,' one more wrote. While another shared: 'my parents did this and we constantly snuck the phones upstairs after they went to bed. super strict parents create super sneaky kids.' And somebody else argued: 'I really like her, but this is kind of redundant when the kids are on such public display.' Related: Others jumped to Kylie's defense and commended her for being so proactive when it comes to protecting her children. 'Everyone's mad that she wants to protect her kids??' one person asked. 'Kids don't need a cellphone. And they definitely do not need unlimited access to the internet.' Another pointed out: 'We all grew up with a landline so I don't understand why people have a problem with this.' And one more commented: 'This is EXACTLY what we do with our kids! An extra phone for sports. Thats it. And I have parental controls. KIDS DON'T NEED SOCIAL MEDIA. Period.' Somebody else concluded: 'It's commendable she is being creative and proactive. I think this is a terrific idea.' This isn't the first time that Kylie has revealed the strict rules that her daughters have to follow, with the star recently revealing that she has 'banned' three kids' TV shows from her household, arguing: 'I'm pretty sure there are studies that have shown that these shows are not correct.' If you're wondering, the three shows in question are Cocomelon, Blippi, and The Teletubbies. Related: What do you make of Kylie's latest parenting revelation? Let me know in the comments below!
