In messages sent through Telegram, Al-Qassam revealed more attacks in Jabalia through the middle of July, saying that they had hit and destroyed several Israeli tanks and bulldozers:
July 14: Near Erbakan School and Old Gaza Street, a D9 bulldozer and two Merkava tanks were hit. Israeli planes were seen taking the injured to safety.
From July 15–17, explosive charges and "Yassin 105" anti-tank rounds were used to attack more tanks near the Nama Club and the Al-Omari Mosque.
The group made it clear that these operations are part of a larger plan called "attrition," which is meant to wear down Israeli ground troops and cause them mental and physical harm. The films are used for both operations and propaganda. They are meant to show that the Palestinians are winning on the ground and boost their followers' confidence.
