Ricki Lake says she's open to talk about her plastic surgery: 'I don't want there to be any stigma'
The days of celebrities hiding their cosmetic procedures are long gone, and Ricki Lake, 56, is the latest to speak openly about it.
During an appearance on Thursday's episode of " Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," the "Hairspray" actor spoke about getting a lower facelift and why she's being transparent about the procedure.
"I'll reveal this to you. I've told other people, but I've had a lower face and neck lift," Lake told host Andy Cohen and fellow guest Cynthia Nixon. "I kind of think it's the best facelift I've ever seen."
Lake gave a shoutout to her Los Angeles-based doctor before explaining why she chose to be so open about the procedure.
"I love that I can talk about it. I'm fully transparent, always have been. I don't want there to be any stigma. This is something that was bothering me," Lake said. "I lost a lot of weight, and I had this certain thing hanging, and I had it fixed."
This isn't the first time that Lake has been open about her glow-up.
She previously spoke to Us Weekly about losing 40 pounds by following a keto diet, hiking daily with a weighted vest, and doing Pilates.
Lake joins a growing list of Hollywood celebrities who've recently opened up about their plastic surgery.
Kylie Jenner went viral last week after she replied to a TikToker's request for the details of her breast augmentation surgery.
"445 cc, moderate profile, half under the muscle!!!!! silicone!!! garth fisher!!! hope this helps lol," Jenner wrote in a comment.
After the plastic surgeon thanked Jenner for the shoutout on an Instagram post, Kris Jenner, 69, then commented and revealed that he was also the doctor who performed her first facelift 14 years ago.
Joining in on the trend, "Shark Tank" star Barbara Corcoran also took to Threads to share a detailed list of procedures that she's done and continues to do. This included three facelifts so far, a neck lift, and ear filler four times a year.

MAGA Celebs Trapped in Israel Amid Airstrikes
CNN pundit Scott Jennings and Olympian Caitlyn Jenner—both stalwart supporters of President Donald Trump—are stuck in Israel as the country exchanges airstrikes with Iran. The Israeli government shut down the country's main airport, Ben Gurion, in Tel Aviv on Thursday after launching what it described as a 'preemptive' air strike on Iran, killing several military commanders. 'Don't think I am getting out of Israel today!' Jennings wrote on X Friday Morning. 'But will continue to report on what I see and hear.' Jennings later posted a Daily Mail article reporting that both he and MAGA diehard Caitlyn Jenner had been marooned in Israel, joking, 'This headline is an all-time mad lib.' 'Good company,' Jenner replied. Jennings first posted about his visit to Israel on Monday, June 9, writing on X that he was taking a break from CNN for the week to 'journey through Israel.' Jenner, meanwhile, arrived in Tel Aviv on Wednesday to attend the city's Pride parade, according to The Hollywood Reporter. After Israel attacked Iran, Iran launched hundreds of ballistic missiles at Israel overnight. Israeli authorities later reported that most Iranian missiles had been intercepted. Jennings told the Daily Mail he was moved to a safe room when the strikes began. In a series of videos posted to X on Thursday and Friday, Jennings describes 'hearing booms in the distance' and adds, 'Iran missile attacks, I presume.' Jenner, 75, told an Israeli news station Friday morning that she'd spoken with her daughter, Kylie Jenner, and assured her, 'I'll keep myself safe, and they'll take care of me.' Jenner took to Instagram on Friday afternoon to express her continued support for Israel. Alongside a photo of her visit to the Western Wall in Jerusalem, she wrote, 'My heart is with Israel now and forever. Evil shall not prevail!' Jennings and Jenner are also both strong supporters of President Trump, who stood behind Israel's airstrikes on Iran, calling them 'excellent' on Friday morning. The United States is now assisting Israel in shooting down Iranian missiles. In her latest update, the former athlete shared an image of the sky in Tel Aviv during the airstrikes, writing, 'Pray for us all.'

Yeah, she's incredibly talented. I'm very proud." Responding to a question about what makes their relationship work, Depp added: "I mean, I think it's, you know, it's that kind of je ne sais quoi. ‘Ed the Zebra' mural painted in Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Ed the Zebra has garnered national attention over the last week and a half. Now he's immortalized on a Nashville art piece. The artist who goes only by 'Bandit' is a Los Angeles-based artist. He painted the zebra on a wall along 8th and Edgehill Avenue, if you want to go check it out yourself. 'Bandit' is a traveling artist who does a lot of research on what is going on in cities before he shows up. He usually paints politically motivated murals, but saw that Ed the Zebra was creating a ton of buzz in Nashville so this time he switched it up to something lighthearted. 'Ed the Zebra' captured after 8 days on the loose in TN 'Bandit' says the children in the painting are meant to represent the child-like joy the zebra chase gave to Tennesseans. 'Just showing how we're a bunch of kids chasing animals all the time, it seems like. It seemed like a rat race to catch this zebra. Children always add a humorous, satirical feel to the work as well.' The artist says he did not get permission to paint this mural. News 2 did reach out to the property owner, Graybar Electric Co., and they said they do not mind that the new mural is there. Do you have news happening in your neighborhood?
