Virgin River Star Shares Season 7 Update: When Are New Episodes Coming to Netflix?
When will Virgin River's long-awaited seventh season finally premiere on Netflix? It's a very good question — just ask series star Alexandra Breckenridge.
The actress, aka Mel Sheridan, posted an Instagram story from the show's Vancouver set on Thursday in which she theorized just how much longer fans will have to remain patient for their fix of small town drama.

'I feel like I'm on day 857 of filming Season 7,' Breckenridge said to her 1.3 million followers. 'We're almost done, can you believe it? I can't even believe it. Almost to the finish line. I keep wondering if they're going to put the show out this year. What do you guys think? Probably, right? If they have it, they'll probably drop it … this year, 2025. I don't know any information. I'm the last to know.'D
Unfortunately, we have a feeling that when Breckenridge does receive that information, she'll find out that Virgin River won't be back until 2026. Though Netflix has neither confirmed nor denied a potential timeframe for Virgin River's return, it's worth noting that the show hasn't been included in any of the streamer's announcements about what's still to come in 2025. Purely speculatively, it seems more likely that we'll see Season 7 in early 2026 — perhaps just in time for Valentine's Day? — than in late 2025.
Of course, Virgin River's premiere date is just one of many questions we have ahead of Season 7. Others include: What happened to Charmaine? Will Mel and Jack really adopt Marley's baby? And what trouble will be caused by the show's two new additions — Victoria (The Vampire Diaries' Sara Canning), who arrives to investigate Doc before reconnecting with an old friend, and Clay (Riverdale's Cody Kearsley), who comes to town looking for his former foster sister?
There's also the show's potential spinoff to consider. Netflix was previously developing a prequel series about Mel's parents' early life in Virgin River, of which we got a taste during flashbacks in Season 6. Will that receive a full series order? Do we want it to? There's just so much to think about.
When do you hope Virgin River returns for Season 7? And which shows are you watching in the meantime? Whatever's on your mind, drop it in a comment below.

Caitlin Clark's Seven-Word Admission Grabs Attention
Caitlin Clark's Seven-Word Admission Grabs Attention originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Indiana Fever have a big game coming up on Saturday as they take on arguably their biggest rival in the WNBA, the Chicago Sky. Advertisement The only downside of this highly anticipated matchup is the fact that the Fever will be without superstar point guard Caitlin Clark, who will miss her fourth straight game due to a quad injury. On Friday, the Fever put up an Instagram post about Clark that included some basic information and interesting facts about the 23-year-old. The intention of the post was for the fans to get to know the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year on a more personal level. For some reason, though, the Fever decided to keep one particular field blank. The team did not list anything under Clark's "Fun Facts," which drew a hilarious admission from the former Iowa star. "Not a fun fact type of gal," she wrote in the comments section. Clark's statement quickly drew the attention of fans as they expressed their reaction to the Fever star's admission. Advertisement "ok cc 😞" a comment read. "false!" said another. "you play too much stop the cap," a user wrote. "OMG forgot that's the one thing I don't like about CC," another said. "how can you not juggle?!" asked a fan, referring to Clark revealing that this is the one skill she'd like to learn. Clark clearly doesn't take herself too seriously, and she obviously likes to have her fun on social media. There's no denying, however, that she's all business when she's on the basketball court. The good news is that the fans could see her serious side again very soon, with Clark potentially returning in Indiana's next game on Tuesday against the Atlanta Dream. Is The Diplomat season 3 releasing in June 2025? Everything we know so far
By Aman Shukla Published on June 7, 2025, 17:30 IST Last updated June 7, 2025, 12:04 IST Netflix's political thriller The Diplomat , starring Keri Russell as U.S. Ambassador Kate Wyler, has kept audiences hooked with its intense drama, jaw-dropping cliffhangers, and sharp political intrigue. After the explosive Season 2 finale, fans are eagerly awaiting news about The Diplomat Season 3. One burning question is whether the show will return in June 2025. Here's everything we know so far. Is The Diplomat Season 3 Releasing in June 2025? As of now, Netflix has not confirmed an exact release date for The Diplomat Season 3, but the show is slated to premiere in fall 2025. While June 2025 falls within the first half of the year, multiple reports indicate that the release is more likely to occur between September and November 2025, aligning with Netflix's 'fall' window. The Diplomat Season 3 Renewal and Production Updates Netflix renewed The Diplomat for Season 3 in October 2024, before Season 2 even premiered, showing strong confidence in the series. Production began in June 2024, with filming taking place in London and New York City, and wrapped in mid-to-late March 2025, earlier than the initially planned March 20 date. This dual-location shoot reflects the show's commitment to capturing the global scope of diplomatic affairs. The early renewal and back-to-back filming with Season 2 (to avoid delays like those caused by the 2023 strikes) suggest Netflix is prioritizing a quicker turnaround. Executive producer Janice Williams noted that the show is 'almost finished filming' as of early 2025, with most work now in the editing room, further supporting a fall 2025 release. Additionally, Netflix announced a Season 4 renewal in May 2025, ahead of Season 3's premiere, ensuring that Kate Wyler's story will continue beyond the upcoming season.
