Bhumi Pednekar On Debate Around Botox, Fillers: 'We Live In A Time…'

The debate about actors opting for botox and fillers has been going on for a long time now. When Bhumi Pednekar starred in the web series The Royals earlier this year, she was also trolled and questioned for her alleged surgeries. Therefore, when News18 Showsha met Bhumi at a recent event in New Delhi, we asked what she thinks about it. Bhumi argued that too much attention is being given to this subject and added that if one wants to opt for fillers, why not?
'I feel, to each their own. We live in a time where people should make their own choices. I am nobody to have any kind of judgment on what people want to do. I also feel that this is being discussed way too much," she told us.
The 36-year-old actress explained her definition of fitness and added, 'It is my way of being."
Bhumi was in New Delhi for a Skechers' event. Talking about the same, the actress shared, 'People in Delhi have come together and run one thousand kilometres collectively. Sketchers, in return, is going to give 100 pairs of shoes to The Kutumb Foundation. It is so lovely."
However, when asked what food items Bhumi keeps in her diet to be fit and healthy, the actress stated, 'People get very scared of but I have it in my diet – fat. I have a lot of ghee in my diet. The only difference is, I do not cook in ghee; I consume it raw. Put it on your rotis or idlis, it is very beneficial for your health."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Bhumi Pednekar was last seen in Netflix's The Royals, a romantic dramedy about the unlikely love story between Aviraaj Singh (played by Ishaan Khatter), a modern-day prince, and Sophia Kanmani Shekhar (Bhumi), a fierce startup founder. The ensemble cast included Zeenat Aman, Dino Morea, Nora Fatehi, Sakshi Tanwar, and others. The series continues to stream on Netflix and has received praise for its fresh take on romance.
Next, Bhumi will be seen in Daldal, a gritty web series for Prime Video in which she plays a police officer. The show has wrapped filming, and fans are eagerly awaiting an official release date.

His tough and idealistic IPS officer in the movie had served as an inspiration for many among the police trainees. Since then, he has organised such meetings many times over the years. Avinesh Kumar, a resident of Muzaffarpur, pulled off the feat without access to a laboratory, formal training, or technical equipment. The most staggering part? He built the single-seater aircraft in just 7 days, spending around Rs 7,000. A video of Avinesh's homemade aircraft taking off and soaring nearly 300 feet has gone viral, drawing praise from across the country. The clip, shared widely online, shows Avinesh calmly seated in his makeshift cockpit, starting the engine, and lifting off the ground as bystanders cheer.
