Grammy Award-winning singer The Weeknd and Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon gave the seniors at Fordham University a graduation bash they will remember for the rest of their lives. The students were surprised to see Jimmy Fallon appearing at their graduation celebration to perform as a DJ. The Tonight Show took to their official Instagram page to share glimpses of the moment when Fallon and The Weeknd teamed up to throw the most unexpected graduation bash of the year.
In the reel, Fallon was seen hyping up the crowd with, 'Yo, what's up! Congratulations, class of 2025!" which was met with loud cheers and applause. He got the crowd warmed up to the intro of The Weeknd's Blinding Lights. The joyous sea of students started to groove to the beats of this track when they got interrupted by The Weeknd himself as the singer waltzed through the doors, leaving the students starstruck. The crowd broke into a loud cheer as The Weeknd started to perform Blinding Lights with Jimmy Fallon, crashing their graduation party at the Lincoln Center campus in New York City.
During the chorus, Fallon was seen jumping up to the front and grabbing a microphone to join the singer. Both Fallon and The Weeknd were seen dancing with Fordham's mascot, Ramses, in turn. The singer then shifted to another song, I Can't Feel My Face, and the crowd was captured singing word-to-word. At the end of their performance, Fallon and The Weeknd shared a hug and shouted to the crowd, 'That's how you do it! Goodbye, everyone!" And with that, the duo wrapped up their set.
Later on Thursday night, the singer appeared on The Tonight Show hosted by Fallon, where both of the stars were seen raving about each other's performances. Discussing the experience with Fordham seniors, the singer revealed he didn't expect the response to be that crazy.
According to Fordham University, the idea of inviting Fallon and The Weeknd to crash the graduation celebration came from a senior at the college named Nina Polaris, who is majoring in theater and is currently working as an intern at the Tonight Show.

Smriti Irani Hopes For Peace And Success For Ektaa Kapoor: 'She Deserves Both'

Last Updated: Smriti Irani and Ekta Kapoor worked together for the iconic show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, which also made the former a household name. Smriti Irani and Ektaa Kapoor's friendship is an example for everyone. On Saturday, the actress-turned-politician took to her Instagram handle and penned down a long and sweet note for Ektaa to send her birthday wishes. Smriti cherished the moments she had spent with Ektaa and described her as somebody who prays for others' success. 'That night, we walked — from the quiet lanes of Juhu to the sacred steps of Siddhivinayak. Not in celebration, but in surrender. She had made a silent vow when I was chasing a dream — a prayer not for herself, but for me. And when the dream turned real, when the world clapped — she didn't call to revel in the applause. She reminded me: We owe Bappa our thanks. Gratitude walks before pride in her world," Smriti wrote. 'The world knows her as fierce – a woman of will, words, and unwavering resolve. But I have known her silences; the softness that doesn't seek attention, the care that doesn't need credit. She is the quiet strength behind many journeys, the keeper of promises no one else hears," she added. The actress then hoped for peace and success in Ektaa's life and concluded by saying, 'Today, she turns 50. A milestone many will raise a toast to. But in the hush of this day, I whisper a prayer — May peace wrap itself around her like a shawl on a weary evening. May success find her, not because she chases it, but because she gives so much of herself away. She deserves both. And so much more. Happy Birthday EK @ektarkapoor ❤️." Revathi Kamath, mother of Zerodha co-founders, takes Bengaluru Metro: Check her Instagram post

Revathi Kamath, the mother of Zerodha co-founders Nikhil and Nithin Kamath, praised Bengaluru Metro in an Instagram post. The environmentalist shared a photo in a pink saree, standing in the women's coach. 'Travelling in Metro is so much convenient and that too in female compartment!!!' she wrote. In her Instagram bio, she calls herself an 'environmentalist and Veena player'. There is no mention of her remarkably-accomplished sons. However, in an earlier interview, she praised her sons. 'I have brought them up to contribute. My sons, especially Nithin, tell me – 'You do it with your own money and don't depend on any organisations, only then people will recognise you.' Nikhil at times will transfer money for a project to me without asking anything,' she told Indian Express. Social media users reacted to her Bengaluru Metro post. One of them wrote, 'Looks like you really enjoyed your metro ride, Revathi.' 'Are u planning to buy Bangalore Metro,' quipped another. Revathi Kamath was born in Shringeri into a learned Brahmin family where music and education played a major role. Her father, N. Krishnamurthy, was a lawyer and skilled Veena player who later taught music full-time. Her creative journey began when her husband brought her flowers from work. Inspired, she explored floral decorations. Borrowing ₹ 5,000 from a friend, she showcased her talent at Wipro and landed a ₹ 45,000 project. Balancing home life and motherhood, she slowly built her name. She opened a small flower shop in Jayanagar, which grew quickly. She later started Calyx, an event company that handled weddings and big corporate events. When Bosch asked her to do landscaping, she self-studied the subject and bagged her first ₹ 4.5 lakh project. Soon, she became a top landscape expert and handled projects for prestigious companies like Tata Steel.
