A poll of 2,000 music fans found 26 per cent seemingly can't resist the thought of winding down post-gig rather than staying to hear the final song.
And perhaps surprisingly, it's Gen Zs (39 per cent) who are most likely to make a swift exit.
Tiredness is also factor, with 36 per cent of all adults admitting they worry in advance about how they'll feel the morning after.
Further to this, 37 per cent practice self-care post-gig so they can wake-up feeling fresh the next day – and again Gen Zs do this more than any other generation (55 per cent).
But it might not have the desired effect - 51 per cent of all adults typically emerge from their post-gig slumber feeling fried, tired, and worn out.
The research was commissioned by Holiday Inn Express, which has teamed up with Will Best and AJ Odudu to launch limited edition 'Fresh or Fried' packages - available online and at participating hotels, guests are able to choose between the two depending on how they tend to feel the morning after a show.
It comes as 40 per cent of those polled revealed they like to get up as normal after a gig, while 38 per cent like to sleep in late and have a 'lazy day.'
Will Best said: 'I go to lots of gigs, but I still have to get up early for breakfast radio, so while I have fun and definitely indulge in some questionable dad dancing, I still like to wind down properly afterwards.
'A great sleep, strong coffee and a decent breakfast, is what I need when I get up so I'm ready to tackle the day'.
Sharing her contrasting approach, AJ Odudu said: 'I am a night owl and I always get a second wind, especially when in a concert environment - I definitely get that from my mum!'
Legendary singer, 85, cancels gigs hours before he's due onstage
The study also found for some it's not just being more careful following a live music event, as 16 per cent will have a pre-show nap and eight per cent will even meditate.
This is especially prevalent in Gen Z (21 per cent and 17 per cent) and Millennials (29 per cent and 17 per cent) - suggesting younger generations take different approaches to the overall gig experience.
Carried out through OnePoll, the study also identified the most anticipated shows of the summer with Ed Sheeran topping the poll, ahead of Oasis who came second.
Third place went to Beyoncé, with Billie Eilish fourth and Olivia Rodrigo fifth.
Holiday Inn Express spokesperson, John Wright, said: "As the research shows gig goers have different approaches - some are night owls who stay up until dawn, while some are self-care enthusiasts who prefer a more relaxed concert experience.
'It's important that everyone can enjoy iconic summer concerts, and the morning after, in a way that suits them best.
"Our Fresh or Fried care packages were designed with these distinct personas and gig routines and behaviours in mind."

It comes after research of 2,000 adults, by Sky Mobile, revealed almost half admitted they overshare details of their own lives - and on average, they 'replay conversations in their head' more than three times over to see if they spoke too freely. It was found 28 per cent will often disclose things about their lives with no prompting whatsoever, and once they've started they find it hard to to stop. Discussing love lives is considered 'cringey' by 62 per cent, alongside finances (31 per cent) and co-worker fallouts (18 per cent), but it's not all regret and second-guessing. The super tall family who spent £10million just to fit in their house

An exceptionally tall family has found themselves with no other choice but to spend millions to build a house that is big enough for them to fit inside - after years of knocking their heads While some people pray to be taller, for one family their towering height has brought nothing but trouble. ‌ Measuring between 6ft 3ins and 6ft 10ins, for the Temeras, even everyday tasks like taking a bath pose problems because they can't fit into a standard size tub. ‌ Getting through doorways without banging their heads is a constant annoyance, and taking a shower under a standard-sized head is no mean feat either. ‌ Now, the family has decided to take matters into their own hands and build a home they can all fit into, but it won't come cheap at a cost of £10million. Their ability to go the "extra mile" and create a mega-mansion for the whole family is down to daughter Marie's success as a TikTok model who brings in £7.5 million every year. At 6ft 3ins tall, she's a foot taller than the average UK woman. ‌ Woman, 25, says boyfriend, 76, is her 'soulmate' and blasts people calling it 'disgusting' 'Brits have work affairs all the time and cheating was the best thing I ever did' Mum Christine, 63, - who stands at 6ft 5 - is a retired 911 operator, and dad Michael, 65, is 6ft 3, and formerly worked as an electrician. The model also has two basketballer brothers, Troy, 27, who stands at 6ft 10in and Shane, 29, who reaches 6ft 9in. Currently, Marie lives in a £1.5 million property in Florida, with her parents living right next door in a £500,000 house that she bought them thanks to her success. But they're so sick of injuring themselves in their unsuitable homes that they're planning to knock both down and build one that is fit for purpose. ‌ "We're going the extra mile to make our home more comfortable to live in,' Marie explained 'Our houses are way too small for us because the ceilings are eight feet tall so we're going to knock them down. "We're always touching the door frames, banging our heads, and having to duck," Marie, who has three million followers on Instagram, explains about life in a normal-sized home. ‌ "The toilets and showers are too low, we have to crouch down to wash our hair and the baths are too small to lie down in. We're going to have the ceilings and doors as tall as they can go and all the space we need." Marie admits that sometimes things were "pretty hard" financially for the family - she also has two incredibly tall brothers, Troy, 27, and Shane, 29, who are 6ft 10 and 6ft 9 respectively. ‌ "We didn't have that much money growing up, so we couldn't afford to make the house bigger like I can now. My brothers would smack their heads going down the stairs every time. "The houses we lived in were from the seventies, so we were hitting our heads on ceilings, and everything was too low, including the toilets and shower heads. We all had that problem growing up. "We are looking forward to having a home where we don't have to hunch, crouch, or worry about hitting our heads every time we walk through a room." ‌ The model added, "Dad was an electrician, and he barely made anything. He made £26,000 a year, and my mom was an emergency operator, so she didn't make much more than that. "It was pretty hard, but they did a really good job of giving us everything that we'd ever needed. They just never had any money to buy anything for themselves." ‌ However, after decades of her parents putting their children's needs before their own, she is thrilled to be able to return the favour, and create the megamansion for the supersized family that they have always dreamed of. "So they really put us first. It will be nice to do this for them; they deserve it. This is something we've talked about for years, and I'm grateful I can finally make it happen for my family." ‌ Marie explains that her family is "happy" about her career and they have been able to retire thanks to the big bucks she is bringing in. 'My family is very grateful and happy for me and my career; they even star in some of my videos on TikTok," she says. The plan is for the whole family of five to move into the custom mansion that Marie will have built, and never knock their heads whilst going about their days again.

Brit tries Benidorm's 'roughest pub crawl' and things take terrifying turn

A tour of some Benidorm pubs turned out to be a fairly mild experience – but falling foul of the Spanish resort's notorious 'potato men' can be genuinely dangerous A YouTuber who set out to show the truth behind Benidorm 's rowdy nightlife on a tour of its "roughest pubs" found himself attacked in the street. ‌ In a recent video titled Throat Punched On Benidorm's Roughest Pub Crawl, social media star Wendall found himself assaulted by a gang of street scammers running the Spanish resort's notorious 'potato men' racket. In the potato man scam, local petty crooks set up a table in the street and hide a single pea under one of three hollowed-out potatoes. ‌ After a stooge in the audience appears to win a fistful of cash by correctly guessing which potato is concealing the pea, tipsy tourists are lured into gambling away their money despite having no chance of success. After Wendall attempted to film a game in progress, the situation swiftly turned ugly, with one of them grabbing him by the throat. ‌ As soon as the scammers saw Wendall's camera, they tried to bully him away from the area. 'I'm just filming an interesting thing,' he protested, asking 'What's the problem with me filming?' But they soon became increasingly aggressive. After the attack attack, he complained: 'He punched me in the throat, just for filming the street.' ‌ Wendall sensibly made himself scarce, and instead retreated into some more of what he cheerfully described as 'some of Benidorm's roughest pubs'. There he met dozens of well-refreshed and generally shirtless Brits enjoying stag weekends, hen dos or, in some cases, months-long holidays in the popular resort. Most of the people he met there seemed to be having a tremendous time – with quite a few enjoying pints at Uncle Ron's bar where a pint of lager costs just €1, or around 90p. The owner of Uncle Ron's prides himself on selling the cheapest pint in Benidorm, and it could quite easily be the cheapest pint in Western Europe. ‌ While the bargain pint is a loss-leader, it draws in punters who will then who on to order some food to go with it, the owner explains. That he still does make a profit on the beer, 'just not very much.' Off the main strip, however many of Benidorm's bars are not doing so well. Quite a few have closed altogether. Wendall found one closed-down bar that had been converted into a crude dormitory for rough sleepers. ‌ Wendall decided to finish his pub crawl at one of the resort's most notorious boozer. "Pretty much everybody I spoke to as I went around said the Red Lion's the roughest pub," he said. 'It hasn't got a good reputation." In fact, Wendall seemed to have a rare old time, being co-opted by the bloke stationed outside to help him lure punters inside with the offer of a free shot. Overall Benidorm's roughest pub offered a fairly mild experience. 'If there's going to be a brawl on the strip,'it's normally outside there,' he admitted, but added 'it's the centre of the Benidorm strip really. So what do you expect?' Certainly, as a venue for an early-evening drink, it's a much safer prospect than trying to watch the potato men at work.
