Beyonce makes MAJOR tour change after terrifying stunt left her hanging and screaming midair
The Grammy winner, 43 — who has sparked fear in fans that she could possibly retire — took to the stage in Atlanta on Thursday where she debuted a mechanical gold horse which she rode inside the Mercedes- Benz Stadium.
Up until last month, she had ridden on a red Cadillac convertible which would suspend over the crowd — but the prop began to suddenly tilt amid her June 28 concert in Houston which caused the singer to abruptly stop the show.
However, Beyonce has since made the slight alteration to her tour this week with the flying gold horse.
She notably sits on the prop as it soars through the air while belting out her country track 16 Carriages.
It is not the first time that the songstress has used a horse as a prop while performing on stage.
Back in 2023 during her Renaissance Tour, Beyonce used a sparkling silver horse - which mimicked her Renaissance album cover.
The star kicked off her Cowboy Carter Tour earlier this year in April - and is in support of her eighth studio album of the same name which was released in 2024.
She is set to perform two additional dates in Atlanta on Sunday, July 13 and the following Monday.
The Crazy In Love hitmaker will then travel to Las Vegas later this month where the tour will conclude on July 26 at Allegiant Stadium.
Late last month, the mom-of-three was forced to abruptly stop her show after the flying car she was riding on seemingly began to tilt midair.
The horrifying moment occurred at her Houston concert on June 28 and stunned audience members, who had captured it on video.
The red convertible, which is normally in an upright position, could be seen at an obvious slant as she soared through the air during her 16 Carriages performance.
'Stop,' Beyonce could be heard sternly saying. 'Stop, stop, stop,' she further commanded, concern evident in her voice.
The crowd inside then grew quiet before they erupted into a mixture of yelling and cheering.
The vehicle, which was attached to various cables, was slowly and safely brought back down to the stage. Despite the terrifying stakes, Beyonce appeared calm whilst in the car.
It's unclear what exactly occurred but according to various social media accounts, her car began to tilt in the air. According to the Houston Chronicle, her car had stopped moving midair.
DailyMail.com contacted representatives for Beyonce for comment but did not immediately hear back.
According to Hot New Hip Hop, Beyonce left the stage floor briefly after her car was properly lowered to the ground before coming back to wrap up the performance.
The songstress, now safely on stage, then resumed performing her song and thanked her fans with a heartfelt message.
'I wanna thank y'all,' she told the audience, adding, 'for loving me. If ever I fall, I know y'all will catch me.'
The incident, which occurred in her hometown of Houston, is not the first time she has suffered from a mechanical issue during her Cowboy Carter tour.
In May, the songstress was captured in fan video on the final show of her five-night run in Los Angeles as a robot on stage failed to hit its mark.
During one section of the concert at Inglewood's SoFi Stadium, Beyonce took a break to sit on a large gold thrown as a robotic arm that wouldn't have been out of place in a factory attempted to pour a bottle of liquor into her glass on one of the throne's arms.
But the robot upended the bottle just an inch or two away from the drink, and instead poured the liquid all over the golden chair she was sitting in.
She was supposed to follow up the over-the-top display by taking a sip of her drinking and grabbing a remote control on the other arm rest as if to turn on the TV before vegging out.
But the Texas Hold 'Em singer — who was dressed in a busty white Western suit covered in sequins and tassels — looked surprised and embarrassed as she briefly picked up her glass and realized that it was empty.
Her mouth started to curl into a smile as she quickly returned the empty glass to its spot on her arm rest.
But Beyonce managed to tamp down her smile and continued with the act as she picked up the remote and flicked it as if to turn on a television.
And in June, Beyonce lost her chaps on stage during a show in London. The diva from Texas was walking while singing as the fringed chaps fell to the ground as she looked astonished, according to TMZ.
Her look was a gold plunging bodysuit under gold fringed chaps with high heels and sunglasses as her accessories.
The site claimed that she 'effortlessly performed' during the embarrassing incident as she slid down to pull the chaps back on.
The Cowboy Carter Tour, officially titled Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour, is Beyonce's ongoing concert tour in support of her album Cowboy Carter.
It's an all-stadium tour, featuring 32 stadium shows in the U.S. and Europe - and will conclude on July 26 in Nevada.

She dressed in more conservative attire during a recent trip to the course as she wore a buttoned-up polo shirt and shorts. And after she performed below her best, she shared a theory with her fans. 'If you've been following me for awhile you know I have this working theory that I play better when I wear less clothes,' she wrote on X above a photo of her in the polo. Spiranac announced some big news in May as she announced she'd be joining the Grass League - the first high-stakes par 3 golf league. Bill Belichick is 'playing second fiddle' to girlfriend Jordon Hudson at UNC as debut season fast approaches
Bill Belichick is continuing to 'play second fiddle' to his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson as he hurtles toward his first season in charge of North Carolina. The legendary NFL coach has endured an embarrassing start to life in college football, with Hudson repeatedly overshadowing him as he prepares to coach UNC. In various TV interviews and viral moments, the former cheerleader has taken center stage and many reports even claim that Belichick's family is 'worried' about him. Now, her impact has been laid bare by college football analyst Paul Finebaum, who appeared on ESPN's First Take this week. 'Also, there's Bill Belichick... anybody heard of this guy?' he said while previewing the ACC. 'He's only the most famous NFL coach of all-time this side of Vince Lombardi, but lately he's played second fiddle to his girlfriend. 'I can't believe I'm actually saying that, but I am!' . @finebaum 's top three CFB storylines ⬇️ 🤔 What's the pulse of the ACC with Clemson and UNC? 🍿 Will Georgia and Alabama bounce back? 😯 Is Arch Manning the best college QB since Tim Tebow? — First Take (@FirstTake) July 11, 2025 The pair's high-profile relationship is also causing a tidal wave of backlash from alumni, donors and even faculty at UNC, who believe the age-gap relationship is eclipsing Belichick's coaching debut - and tarnishing the school's reputation. While the headline-grabbing couple have drawn media attention since they went public in 2023, newly released emails obtained by the Daily Mail through a public records request expose the internal uproar over what critics are calling a 'disgrace' and a 'circus.' In one message from late April, a furious donor wrote: 'What a total embarrassment to UNC. I am withdrawing all my donations and future donations.' Another, from a faculty member, slammed the $10 million, five-year deal handed to Belichick despite his lack of college coaching experience, and questioned how the university could afford it. Perhaps the most eye-opening moment came back in April when Belichick was interviewed on CBS Sunday Morning about the release of his new book. Striking footage emerged of Hudson by Belichick's side on the field as he coached UNC In bizarre fashion, Hudson became the focus of the interview when she repeatedly derailed the interview and interrupted to shut down questions about how the pair met. There was further controversy over a report that UNC had banned Hudson from their football facility, after she was spotted on the field during a team practice session. That was later clarified by the team, who insisted they had not placed any ban on Hudson, nor planned to. In May, journalist Pablo Torre claimed that Hudson went out of her way to hijack a TV commercial that Belichick had been asked to do, specifically insisting that she was on screen in a bikini, in a bizarre bid to 'hard launch' their relationship. 'There was one famous story that was witnessed by, I am told, dozens of people, including freelance contractors who were hired to work on the set of a seven-figure scripted commercial,' he said on his podcast, Pablo Torre Finds Out. 'What I am told by among the dozens of people that witnessed the shooting of this, is what happened that day on set was "highly unusual." 'Jordon Hudson, who was at the time a person they kind of heard about, but again this was last summer… had arrived on set and stated immediately pitching herself for a role that had not been discussed in this scripted seven-figure commercial shoot. That would also serve as "the hard launch" of their relationship.' Hudson's involvement with the 73-year-old coach has drawn controversy from the start Belichick's incessant off-field drama is the polar opposite to what he accepted from his players during his coaching run at the New England Patriots, which makes it all the more interesting. Constant headlines over the past year has sent media and fan interest through the roof as he prepares to take charge of his first game at the collegiate level, at home against TCU on September 1. Hudson and Belichick, who have a near-50 year age gap, first met in 2021 and went public with their relationship in 2024, though confusion still reigns over when exactly they began dating.
