WrestleMania 41 saw Paul Heyman betray
Roman Reigns
and
CM Punk
to align with
Seth Rollins
. In the Raw episode that followed suit, Heyman acquired
Bron Breakker
now implying a compelling alliance of CM Punk and Roman Reigns to survive.
The world was left stunned on Saturday night when Paul Heyman betrayed his career best friend, CM Punk, and his OTC, Roman Reigns, in the first night main-event of WrestleMania 41. Low blows were delivered to both, and Seth Rollins got the upper hand on Roman Reigns before he unloaded a torrent of steel chair blows on Reigns to win the triple-threat match. On Monday Night Raw, when Seth Rollins paraded around with Paul Heyman in triumph, CM Punk rushed out to the center, manhandled Seth initially, and cornered Paul Heyman.
However, Rollins soon regained his composure and unfurled a full-blown assault on The Straightedge Saviour. This was followed by Roman Reigns rushing out to the center. While he speared Rollins, he was split in half by an equally powerful spear from Bron Breakker. It goes without saying that Rollins, Breakker, and Heyman will come after CM Punk and Roman Reigns, and in order to survive, they will have to forge an unlikely yet dominant alliance.
Why should Roman Reigns join forces with CM Punk?
Roman Reigns and CM Punk hate each other ardently, but the world of pro wrestling has made one thing crystal clear: no feeling is final. Earlier in WrestleMania 41, when Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to win the
WWE
title, the latter was away from the ring for a while. However, when he returned, he knew instantly that it was almost impossible for him to wreck the new Bloodline alone.

So he decided to join forces with Cody Rhodes, and they eventually destroyed Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa in WWE Bad Blood 2024. Going by the history of WWE, these team-ups are necessary at times to go all guns blazing against a mutual enemy. Now, if one decodes the WWE storyline of Bron Breakker joining Seth and Heyman, it is a no-brainer that this is going to be a formidable force in the making.
Breakker comes in with his brutal strength while Seth's in-ring agility makes this a team for the ages. Add to that a dash of Paul Heyman's capricious intelligence, which can very well be an unstoppable stable. If Roman Reigns decides to go against these two alone, Seth or Bron will tear him in half. CM Punk, no matter how resilient he is in the ring, has his own challenges in terms of being physical.
Trying to break apart Bronn Breakker and Seth Rollins isn't one of those cakewalks for him either. However, if Roman and Punk join forces, then it is the perfect combination of brains and brawn. Punk can match Paul Heyman's devilish maneuvers while Reigns can lay absolute waste alongside the Second City Saint to the duo of Rollins and Breakker.
More importantly, two of the fan favourites coming together in a bond that no one would have expected would transcend the level of this rivalry to a different tier, one that might be talked about in a similar breath like that of The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin from the Attitude Era. Only time shall reveal if the impossible happens or not, but this can be WWE's golden opportunity to carve another masterclass of a storyline for the WWE Universe.
