Sheryl Crow believes she has 'good illustration' for younger artist, says 'brings us together'
Washington DC [US], August 12 (ANI): Singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow opened up about why she believes her supporters are of all ages while speaking at the red carpet in Nashville, reported People. Crow said she believes this is because "the music that you gravitate to is the music that you've made a lot of memories to." "When I hear stuff from like the '80s or you know, '90s, I go, 'Oh my God, I remember where I was when I heard that,' " she added. "And so for some of these young people, their parents were playing my music and they had memories like water skiing to 'Soak Up the Sun' and things like that." Noting that "music makes us feel and it makes us remember and it brings us together," Crow added that she also has things working in her favour, reported People. "I'm a chick, right? That is still going. And so I think for these young women also, I'm sort of a good illustration that you can keep going and keep going and still write music and play," said Crow. "I'm celebrating 20 years this coming April of being cancer-free. So to me, it's about showing up for the people that I know right now who are battling, but also celebrating the fact that I was caught early," she said, reported People. Sheryl Crow is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and actress. She has released twelve studio albums, five compilations, and three live albums, and contributed to several film soundtracks. Her most popular songs include "All I Wanna Do" (1994), "Strong Enough" (1994), "If It Makes You Happy" (1996), "Everyday Is a Winding Road" (1996), "Tomorrow Never Dies" (1997), "My Favorite Mistake" (1998), "Picture" (2002, duet with Kid Rock), and "Soak Up the Sun" (2002). Machine Gun Kelly claims he is an alien; reveals his mother was once abducted: 'I don't know if my age...'
Machine Gun Kelly (aka MGK), the rapper who previously admitted to skipping meals, proclaimed that the world might not know his age and more about his existence after all. The 'Emo Girl' rapper thinks that he might be an alien from another planet. MGK reveals he doesn't know if his age exists In an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the rapper emphasised that he doesn't know if his age exists when the host complimented him on his looks. 'It's a weird thing, dude. I don't know if my age, I don't know if it exists,' the 35-year-old (in Earth years) said. MGK reveals his mother was abducted Furthermore, MGK said that he doesn't know a lot of things about his life, for instance, details about his dad. Continuing with the bizarre things that happen, the rapper said, 'Like my skin, if it rips open, it heals really quick.' When he was asked if he thinks that he is from another planet altogether, the 'Bad Things' hitmaker responded, 'Yeah, I've asked my mom, 'Was there any period of time you went missing, like off the Earth? Was there ever like a tall slender creature?'' He continued that his mother was abducted at one point in her life. About MGK and Sydney Sweeney Elsewhere in the interview, MGK was asked whether the rumours of him and Sydney Sweeney being more than friends were any true. He looked straight into the camera and asked the person to shut his mouth, while shaking his head. The rumours started surfacing on the internet when the duo was captured hugging and leaning in close at Las Vegas in May, according to People. Meanwhile, MGK has been in a long-time on-and-off relationship with the model and actress, Megan Fox , with whom he welcomed his daughter Saga four months ago. The ex-couple called off their controversial engagement in November 2024.
