THIS is the moment a Labour Lord has his £200,000 luxury watch ripped from his wrist — before the thieves make a Hollywood-style escape on a speedboat.
Dramatic footage shows Lord Ara Darzi being ambushed while strolling through a narrow street on the glitzy Italian island of Capri.

The Labour peer was walking near the famed Piazzetta around 10.30pm on Sunday when two robbers struck.
In the grainy video, Darzi is seen walking among a crowd outside a shop when a man in a white t-shirt lurks close by, positioning himself behing the unsuspecting lord.
Suddenly, the man lunges forward and snatches the ultra-rare Richard Mille timepiece from Darzi's wrist.
Another man, wearing red, bolts alongside the thief as the stunned 65-year-old gives chase in disbelief.
According to local police, the two men had stalked Darzi along the upscale Via Camerelle before launching their lightning-fast attack.
After the heist, the thieves sprinted through the picturesque Gardens of Augustus and down the serpentine Via Krupp trail — before hopping aboard a speedboat moored in Marina Piccola, vanishing into the night.
The brazen snatch-and-dash has shocked locals and tourists alike on the island long known for its luxury — and its low crime rate.
Lord Darzi told the Daily Mail on Monday: "I'm currently on holiday with my family in Capri after what has been a very busy year in the NHS.
"Last night, I was robbed by two men who snatched a watch I was wearing.

"We were all shaken up, but thankfully no one was hurt.
"The watch was a gift from the father of a patient whose life I saved six years ago."
He added: "Sadly, like too many Brits abroad, I've now experienced street crime firsthand.
"My advice to fellow holidaymakers is simple: be careful and leave your valuables at home."
The watch — a Richard Mille, reportedly worth €300,000 (approx. £253,000) — is a grail-level timepiece worn by elite figures like Elon Musk and Jay-Z.
The brand only manufactures around 5,000 watches annually, sold exclusively to an ultra-connected clientele.
Darzi, who is also a professor at Imperial College London and co-director of the British Institute of Public Health, had been spending a few days on his yacht in the Gulf of Naples before the robbery.
Italian media described the crime as 'record-breaking,' calling the thieves 'specialists' with a knack for instantly recognising high-value targets.
One report from Il Mattino warned: 'It was enough to make Capri lose its reputation as the island most free from crime.'
Investigators are now combing through security footage to piece together the daring getaway.
The shocking attack follows another high-profile theft last month, when a British man had his £43,000 Rolex stolen while sitting in his £250,000 Lamborghini during a supercar rally in Barcelona.
The robbers made off on an e-scooter before the driver could react.

School who banned girl's Union Flag dress forced to shut early after threats

The father of a girl sent home for wearing a Union Jack dress has said he is 'disgusted' that 'threats' have forced the school to close. Bilton School in Rugby, Warwickshire, said 'extremist abuse' meant they were shutting early, before the last day of school on Friday. Teachers had put Courtney Wright, 12, into isolation last Friday after she chose to celebrate being British with a Union Jack dress The decision prompted a wave of backlash after dad Stuart Field posted about what happened on Facebook. Stuart received dozens of messages of support and won the support of the Prime Minister, MPs, and also Tommy Robinson. The board of governors and the headteacher also personally said sorry to the 12-year-old. But a string of threatening messages has forced the school to close before the last day of term on Friday. In a letter sent to parents, Bilton school said the decision was 'in the interests of student and staff safety' after they experienced 'extremist abuse online and via our telephone systems'. Staff had also been threatened, explained Ranjit Samra, CEO of Stowe Valley Multi-Academy Trust and headteacher Jayne Delves. The letter continued: 'The nature and tone of this abuse has escalated in recent days. 'While we have been working closely with our multi-agency partners to address the situation, our primary responsibility remains the safety and wellbeing of every child and member of staff. 'This is not a decision we have taken lightly. We understand the disruption this may cause to your families and your child's education, but the safety of our school community must come first.' Courtney's dad Stuart had told Metro that he and his daughter were horrified at how events had unfolded. He said: 'We don't agree with any threats of violence or protests at that school. I am very disgusted by anybody threatening violence at anybody over this whole this. 'We never asked anybody to send out threats of violence.' The school pupil, who has received hundreds of messages of support from across the world, is also upset that the last day was cancelled. Stuart added: 'She is sad to miss the last day. These protests have a negative effect on Courtney as well. 'This is not anything that we wanted. We wanted to make people aware about what had happened at the school.' The row broke out after Bilton School held a 'Culture Day' in which they'encouraged students to consider wearing attire that reflects their nationality or family heritage.' Dad Stuart said the school's actions went against this message when Courtney was not allowed to wear the dress, which was similar to the one worn by Spice Girl Geri Halliwell at the Brits in 1997. More Trending She had also written a speech about history and traditions for the day, but was never allowed to deliver it. A spokesman for Stowe Valley Trust apologised at the time, saying: 'We deeply regret the distress this has caused and offer our sincere and unreserved apologies. 'We have since spoken directly with the pupil and her family to listen to their concerns and reflect on how this could have been handled better. 'We are committed to learning from this experience and ensuring that every student feels recognised and supported when expressing pride in their heritage.' I was shocked when I came home from work & saw what my neighbours had done to my fence – people say it's ‘criminal'

A MAN has revealed he discovered an unpleasant surprise after arriving home and realising what his neighbours had done to his side of the fence. With summer in full force, millions of Brits are rushing to spruce up their grubby fences on the cheap by painting them. 3 3 3 Unfortunately for one man, TikToker @ s0me0fthegear, this came with a surprise he hadn't been warned about. According to the man, he had come home one day from work - only to discover his side of the fence was turned into a total mess. Sharing the damage online, the TikToker explained that his neighbours had decided to paint their side of the fence - and it appears that quite a bit of the product had landed on his side as well. While originally his side of the slatted fence was black, the makeover had left heaps of white paint seeping through and dripping down. After chatting to the neighbours the following morning, the man said they claimed they had no idea of the damage. ''I came home from work and found it like this,'' the TikToker said in a recent video shared on social media. ''It's absolutely fine, I will sort it at the weekend if it doesn't rain,'' he went on. ''Guess I'll be getting my paint brush out then!'' the man chuckled in the caption. But while the man didn't appear to be that bothered by the unexpected DIY fence makeover, some viewers warned that this was ''criminal'' and ''could be seen as an act of aggression or cause offense''. The short clip, posted just two days ago, has already taken the internet by storm, amassing a whopping 1million views and over 8,000 likes. I hate my new build garden being overlooked so found a 5 METRE privacy fence to block out nosy neighbours for under £30 More than 700 people flooded to comments to share their thoughts on the matter - and it was a mixed bag of reactions. Some, for instance, thought the act was not ''intentional'' - others, meanwhile, shared how to get revenge. One understanding person said: ''Stay a good neighbour and repaint your side the same colour. Completely unintentional.'' I had a two-year bin war with my next door neighbour Gemma Smith and Sophie Wood were engaged in a weekly feud for a year over their wheelie bins. When Gemma moved next door to Sophie, 34, who is unemployed, in November 2020 they were civil to one another. Gemma, who is single and doesn't work due to stress, says: 'Sophie seemed nice and we'd stop and exchange pleasantries. 'But it all changed at the beginning of 2022, when Sophie's bin was full and she put her rubbish bag in mine. 'I took it out and put it on top of her bin. 'It fell off, gulls pecked at it and there was rubbish everywhere.' Both women refused to clear up the mess, claiming it was the other one's fault. Gemma says: 'I felt so angry. 'There was cat litter spread all over my drive — it was absolutely disgusting and we ended up shouting at each other. 'We were both as bad as each other — we'd walk past each other and I'd tell her she was a lazy cow and to clean up after herself. 'We'd scream insults at each other." Within six months Sophie had set up a CCTV camera and threatened to report Gemma to the council. In retaliation, Gemma set up the baby monitor — which can record video — to try to pin more wrongdoing on Sophie. Then last July Sophie spotted Gemma in tears on her doorstep following a burglary at her home. Gemma says: 'Sophie came straight round and asked if there was anything she could do. 'We are now the best of friends and help each other out all the time." Another chimed in: ''This fencing is a nightmare for this, both me and my neighbours organise it so we do each side of a panel at the same time so we can catch drips as they happen, we also share a few bottles of wine whilst doing it.'' ''Virtually impossible to paint these panels without it seeping through to be fair,'' someone else said. ''Let the games begin,'' a viewer chuckled. ''My patience could never,'' another wrote. A whizz, meanwhile, commented: ''In the UK, there isn't a specific law preventing you from painting your side of a neighbor's fence, even if they own it.
