MP ready to change policies to attract industry, says CM Mohan Yadav

Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav stated that the state government is ready to amend its policies based on the needs of industrialists and will not hesitate to change rules wherever potential is seen. He was addressing leading industrialists of Punjab during a meeting in Ludhiana, where he informed them about Madhya Pradesh's investment-friendly policies.
Yadav emphasised that the Madhya Pradesh government is not only prepared to establish industries and boost investment but is also willing to make necessary policy changes if required. Highlighting the state's potential in the garments and textile sector, he reiterated the government's commitment to both investors and workers at every level.
It is noteworthy that during the Global Investors Summit held in February 2025, the Madhya Pradesh government introduced the New Textile Policy–2025, which includes several provisions to attract investment in the sector. These include offering 10–40 per cent investment promotion assistance on plant and machinery, 5–7 per cent interest subsidy on loans, and up to ₹1 crore for infrastructure development. The policy also promises ₹50 lakh in financial assistance to investors establishing apparel training institutes in the state.
The Chief Minister also highlighted Madhya Pradesh's competitive electricity tariffs, solar energy capacity and major power projects, assuring that the state has sufficient electricity for industries.

On the occasion, he shared information about Madhya Pradesh's industry-friendly, simple, and accessible policies and facilities that promote investment and invited Al Yammahi to attend the upcoming Energy Summit in Madhya Pradesh. In a post on X, he said, 'During the Dubai visit, I had a courtesy meeting with Mr. Mohammad Al Yamahi, the Speaker of the Arab Parliament. On this occasion, I shared information about Madhya Pradesh's industry-friendly, simple, and accessible policies and the facilities that promote investment. I also extended an invitation to Mr. Mohammad Al Yamahi to participate in the upcoming Energy Summit to be held in Madhya Pradesh. In the context of the growing strategic relations with the United Arab Emirates, I highlighted Madhya Pradesh's active and constructive role and reiterated the intent for cooperation in the fields of energy, minerals, logistics, food processing, and green investment. I also expressed hope that Madhya Pradesh will become an active and significant partner in these bilateral partnerships.' Yadav congratulated Indians working in Dubai for strengthening the relations between both countries. He is in the UAE to meet investors, entrepreneurs, and experts and to introduce them to the possibilities of Madhya Pradesh, under the 'Global Dialogue 2025'. The Indian diaspora in Dubai welcomed Yadav on Sunday upon his arrival at Dubai. In a post on X, he said, 'Indians in Dubai have carved a unique identity through their hard work, culture, and values. Today, during my UAE visit, meeting Indian brothers, sisters, and youth at the Taj Hotel in Dubai has filled my heart with joy. Heartfelt gratitude for all your warmth!' As part of MP Global Dialogue 2025, Yadav received a warm welcome in Dubai from the Indian diaspora, including Jitendra Vaidya, President IPF UAE and was greeted by Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul General of India to Dubai marking the beginning of his UAE visit to promote investment in Madhya Pradesh. Dubai [UAE], July 13 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav while holding talks with Indian business delegation, hailing from the state emphasised that India's time is favorable under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, citing the country's progress in keeping pace with rapid global changes. 'Under the leadership of the glorious Prime Minister, the scenario has changed in a way... There is also a need to move in such a way as to relate to the work we are doing here because that time is moving very quickly in the changing times. India's time is very favorable in this changing era,' he said. CM Yadav aims to attract foreign investors to Madhya Pradesh, showcasing the state's industrial policies, tourism potential, and robust infrastructure. 'Today's time under the leadership of Honorable Modi is maintaining the beauty of our world, which is the speciality of a democratic country, where the rights of the people are held by the people and many other pyramids have changed,' he said. Yadav acknowledged that the diaspora has worked hard for Indians as well and established themselves there. 'People are doing their job here for us too... You all have worked hard for so many days and made your place here. And it is good that you have that it in your hearts,' he said. 'Whatever the first generation consumes, the second generation gets happiness. The third generation enjoys that you are all those first and second generation people endured in those difficult times,' he added. Yadav said that no matter which part of the world one lives in, they can improve their own talent using their intellect. 'Everyone's life is certain, no one can increase or decrease it. But in that life we go from our ability to intelligence. Whichever place we go with the intellect, we will improve our talent and do good to ourselves with all these things everywhere and do good to the country as well as benefit the society,' he said.
