Springsteen's Major Announcement Sends Boss Fans into a Frenzy
fans are in a frenzy after the 'Glory Days' rocker teased plans for a new release, likely featuring some of his most sought-after recordings from the vault, due on Thursday, April 3.
Springsteen announced the project, Tracks II, just one day prior, on Wednesday, April 2, in posts on his social media channels that featured a short video with various clues about the release. It featured an unreleased instrumental track that was reminiscent of the song 'Easy Money' from his Wrecking Ball album.

'FINALLY! I really hope Electric Nebraska is finally included and released. I mean it does say lost albums,' one fan commented, referring to the long rumored electric version of Springsteen's 1982 solo acoustic album.
'Bruce bringing the happiness & hope to this crazy world. Thank you Bruce, this is beyond exciting ❤️,' another fan responded.
'I am crying over here. This is utterly amazing ❤️🙌,' a third fan posted.
The tease also included a link to a website, lostalbums.net, that offered additional clues, including a recording sheet from his Thrill Hill Recording studio that included the dates 1983-2018, along with a form for fans to join a mailing list.
Fans also noted that the tease included what looked like the original lyric sheet for the song 'Delivery Man,' a cut that didn't make it onto 1983's Born in the U.S.A. album, along with a piece of studio notes from the 1993 sessions that resulted in the song 'Streets of Philadelphia.'
Springsteen released the first Tracks collection, a four-CD set of unreleased outtakes, in 1998 and also included previously unreleased bonus tracks on the reissues of classic albums Darkness on the Edge of Town and The River.

Bruce Springsteen's ‘Born To Run' Debuts On One Chart Just Before It Turns 50
Bruce Springsteen's Born to Run debuts at No. 92 on the U.K.'s Official Album Downloads chart nearly ... More 50 years after its original release. UNITED STATES - OCTOBER 11: REDBANK Photo of Bruce SPRINGSTEEN, Bruce Springsteen performing on stage - Born to Run Tour, 47 (Photo by Fin Costello/Redferns) By 1975, Bruce Springsteen was already a rock hero in his home state of New Jersey. He had charted a few successful albums, but had yet to break out and become a certified superstar. His third full-length, Born to Run, changed everything. It helped him achieve remarkable success and reach new career heights. Even five decades later, Born to Run is still regarded as not just a blockbuster, but a masterpiece in its own right. Fans all around the world are spending 2025 celebrating Born to Run and its legacy. The title is once again a bestseller, and for the first time, it appears on one important list in the United Kingdom. This week marks the first time the beloved project appears on the Official Albums Downloads chart, which ranks the top-selling full-lengths and EPs on platforms like iTunes in the U.K. Born to Run narrowly makes it to the list, opening at No. 92. Born to Run marks Springsteen's second new arrival on the Official Album Downloads chart this year alone. Just a few weeks ago, he launched his surprise live EP Land of Hope and Dreams, which debuted inside the top 10 and eventually peaked at No. 6. That project was recorded in mid-May at the opening show of the latest leg of his concert tour of the same name. The performance in Manchester sparked controversy after the rocker spoke out against U.S. President Donald Trump. Springsteen included those remarks on the live EP, which helped make it a bestseller in the U.K. Springsteen's debut on the Official Album Downloads ranking comes nearly 50 years after Born to Run first landed on the Official Albums chart, which tracks the most-consumed projects in the nation. Springsteen earned his first successful full-length in the country in November 1975. Born to Run went on to spend just under a year on the list and peaked at No. 17. At the moment, Springsteen charts six albums on at least one U.K. tally apiece. Born to Run is one of a trio — including Land of Hope and Dreams and The River — that all live on just one ranking apiece. Meanwhile, Best of, Greatest Hits, and Born in the U.S.A. appear on several rosters at once.

Miley Cyrus Younger Siblings Humiliated During Bangerz
Miley Cyrus was just 13 years old when she first found fame as a squeaky clean Disney Channel star in the hit series Hannah Montana, which aired until 2009. But by the time she turned 20, Miley was seemingly keen to rebrand herself by establishing a very different kind of public persona through her now-infamous Bangerz era. If you need reminding, she released her self-described 'dirty south hip-hop' album Bangerz in 2013, and with it came a brand new Miley. The star boldly cut off all her hair, sang about recreational drug use, and became especially renowned for how provocative she was — which included twerking on Robin Thicke at the VMAs, and appearing nude in her 'Wrecking Ball' music video. As a result, for better or for worse, Miley became a bit of a pop culture icon during this era, and was regularly in the news cycle for her outlandish antics. Now 32, Miley has admitted that her family struggled with her raunchy rebrand at the time, and even revealed that her younger siblings didn't want to go to school because of how humiliating it was to be related to her. For reference, Miley has three older half-siblings, Brandi, Trace, and Christopher, and two younger siblings, 31-year-old Braison, and 25-year-old Noah. During her recent appearance on the Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky podcast, Miley referenced Monica and then-president Bill Clinton's 1998 sex scandal as she said: 'My 2013 is your 1998, because that was the time where I just got hit so hard and I was so embarrassed.' 'There was even a time where my brother and sister didn't want to go to school because of how humiliated they were to be related to me,' she recalled. 'My brother, at one point, he was saying: 'I don't judge you, but you could understand how hard it is for me to go to school and you be my sister?'' 'It was really hard for me in 2013, and I Iost everything during that time in my personal life because of the choices I was making professionally,' Miley went on. 'If I kept dressing or acting a certain way, my relationships fell apart. No one wanted to date me because they didn't want to be with a woman [whose] sexual expression was not for them, it was shared with the world.' 'Guys, when I would try to date, when I was dating, or I was engaged at the time, that didn't work out because I was sharing a part of myself that men wanted to be saved for them only,' she continued. 'And the fact that I would pose nude or dance in very little clothes or show my body was making them feel like I was taking something away that was meant to be for them, so I would have a really hard time dating.' 'It was really hard for me to go home and see my dad and, like, look him in the eyes and not feel super embarrassed,' Miley then confessed. 'Same thing, my grandmother is my best friend, she's dead, but she's still my best friend, and I was like: 'This is gonna kill her.'' 'Going home and seeing my grandparents was just mortifying,' she reiterated, adding that until she had therapy, she 'had a lot of guilt about how hard it would have been to be my sibling or my parents, and how embarrassing.' Junior Rupert dancer swoops to top prize at provincials
Prince Rupert's Mia Lan wowed the judges in Victoria, dancing to first place in the Junior Stage category at the provincials. From June 1 to 5, the 2025 Performing Arts BC Provincials showcased the most prominent young artists selected from various regional festivals across British Columbia. Twenty-six children aged 10 to 12 competed in Mia's category. 'Dance lets me express myself in ways words can't. I get to be free, have fun, show different kinds of emotions, and allows everyone to understand and feel what I'm feeling,' said Mia. She performed her variety piece 'I am Aldolpho,' which was a theatrical mix of lip-syncing, acting, dancing, and fun. Her hip-hop solo 'Do it to it' also contributed to the win. The five-day event in Victoria included master classes, lectures, coaching, workshops, technique classes, and adjudications. Judges evaluated the participants based on their overall impression of all these activities. 'She's been in dance since she was about two and a half years old. She's been competing since she was seven,' said Linda Lan, Mia's mother. 'The moment she could stand and she was walking is the moment she was dancing already. I knew she just loves it. Every time she hears music, she's just moving and grooving.' Jessica Bruce serves as Mia's primary dance instructor at the Dance Academy of Prince Rupert and is also the choreographer of her winning dances. Alison Sherman and other teachers at the academy have also worked to nurture Mia's talent over the years. 'Mia is such a bright light in class, always so enthusiastic and ready to learn new things. She pushes herself so hard and has great work ethic. She is hilarious,' said Bruce. Bruce herself has been a long-time dance lover. She started dancing at eight and continued throughout her schooling. She has been teaching for about seven years. 'It's such a joy teaching kids, seeing them get out of their shells and having fun doing something that they love, moving their bodies and keeping active and being team players,' said Bruce. She also recognized several other dancers from the academy who competed at the provincials. These included Gracie Long, Nolan Robinson, Grace Robinson, Coral Fitzsimmons, McKenna Leighton-Sankey, Astrid Warburton, Jordyn Lok, and Ashlynn Bon-Cornish. Founded in 1964, Performing Arts BC (formerly the BC Association of Performing Arts Festivals) is a non-profit charity that oversees 34 regional festivals across the province. At the Annual Provincial Festival, the most talented participants compete in the Junior, Intermediate, Senior, and Provincial Excellence categories. Error!
