Duo To Be Charged For Injuring Cop At Penang Police HQ
GEORGE TOWN, June 24 (Bernama) -- The two men who injured a policeman during an incident at the Penang Police Headquarters on Sunday (June 22) will be charged in court here tomorrow.
Timur Laut District police chief ACP Abdul Rozak Muhammad said they have completed the investigation papers and received instructions to charge the two men, aged 19 and 20.
'Both suspects, arrested after the incident, were remanded for three days until tomorrow and the case was investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955,' he said when contacted by Bernama today.

Enforcement Officers Among Five Held Over illegal Foreign Worker Registration
KUALA LUMPUR, June 24 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has arrested five individuals, including three enforcement officers, for allegedly abetting in the illegal registration of foreign workers under the Immigration Department's Labour Recalibration Programme (RTK). According to a source, the other two individuals comprise a company manager and a foreign national. All five, aged between 20s and 40s, were picked up between 11 am and 2.30 pm yesterday in Putrajaya and Kelantan. 'Initial investigations revealed that the three enforcement officers -- two men and a woman -- are suspected of accepting bribes ranging between RM50,000 and RM60,000 for processing foreign worker registration applications.
