Greggs customer left speechless after getting huge bag of food for just £3
A man has been left in disbelief after getting his hands on a £3 Too Good To Go bag from Greggs - as the contents he received were more than he ever could have hoped for.
A man was gobsmacked after opening a £3 Too Good To Go bag from Greggs - and he couldn't believe the haul inside. Too Good To Go is a nifty app that helps you cut down on food waste while snagging a bargain on scrumptious goodies.
You don't get to choose exactly what's in your mystery bag, but they're usually packed with items perfect for freezing or munching on the spot, depending on where you buy them. The concept has soared in popularity recently, with folks eagerly posting their bag reveals online, debating if the contents are worth the cash spent.
Owen Reeman, a TikTok influencer, has amassed over 519,000 followers with his food reviews. In his latest post, he revealed the surprises packed in his enigmatic Greggs bundle.
" Too Good To Go bag, acquired," he announced, flaunting his Greggs bag to his audience in a video. "This might be the heaviest Too Good To Go bag of all time, look at the size of it!"
"This cost three quid by the way," he mentioned before delving into the bag's treasures. "Right, let's row through this bag to see what we've got."
He first pulled out a caramel doughnut, swiftly followed by a pink jammy doughnut, reports the Mirror.
"I like both of those, that's all you could ask for," Owen remarked as he reached back into the bag, pulling out a Tandoori Chicken Baguette to his pleasure.
He was thrilled, exclaiming: "That's like £3 on it's own, that's brilliant." Unveiling the fourth treat, he announced with joy, "Chicken bake. Absolutely class."
"This is like Mary Poppins' bag, it just keeps on going and going and going. There's still loads left.
The haul continued with a Jammy Heart Biscuit, two scrumptious sausage rolls, an extra chicken bake, and another steak bake to boot.
Overwhelmed by the bounty, Owen declared enthusiastically: "That is... we've got two sausage rolls, two chicken bakes, two steak bakes, a baguette, two doughnuts, and a heart biscuit. We've got 10 items for three quid," he marvelled. "That might be the greatest Too Good To Go bag of all time. I'm never, ever, gonna top that."
Owen wasn't alone in being astounded by the contents of the surprise bag. In the comments section of his viral video, which has racked up over half a million views in just a week, viewers chimed in with their comparable jackpot moments.
One user expressed amazement: "Best day of this bloke's life." While another shared their fortune: "I got eight baguettes once and two doughnuts for £3 and I felt like the luckiest man alive."
Someone else recounted: "My local one gave me two full bags once even though I only paid for one. It was two minutes until the end of pick up and nobody else had ordered. It was a ridiculous amount!"
Another commenter who works at Greggs at a service station shared their insider experience: "I work at a Greggs at a service station and we literally fill the bags to the point where we can't get anything else in, sometimes we'll even give you a second bag if we have enough waste."
Yet, not all feedback on Gregg's Too Good To Go bags has been positive, with one customer sharing their disappointment: "I got a Too Good To Go bag from Greggs once and it was four vegetable bakes. Fuming."

I eat takeaway every night but never pay – I make poor choices when it comes to my food, but there's no way I'm cooking
She doesn't snack during the day, which means she can have a greasy takeaway for dinner guilt free WINNER WINNER I eat takeaway every night but never pay – I make poor choices when it comes to my food, but there's no way I'm cooking A WOMAN who eats takeaway every night has defended her unique food plan, but admitted she makes "poor choices" when it comes to her dinner. Saffron regularly shares videos of herself tucking into a pizza or greasy meal of an evening, and has found herself criticised for how frequently she relies on takeout food. 3 Saffron has a takeaway for dinner every night, but doesn't pay Credit: Tiktok/saffronmariexx 3 Instead she gets her devoted 'pay pigs' to pick up the cost of the meals Credit: Tiktok/saffronmariexx However, in a new TikTok, she explained that she saves herself during the day so that she can chow down guilt free at dinner time. "Eating really late means there's hardly any options available, especially where I live," she said. And given that she relies on "pay pigs" to buy her meals for her, she always chooses to collect them from the food outlets. "There aren't many places you can really collect from," Saffron added. "So yes, we've got another Domino's." But she admitted that if she had to use her own money, she wouldn't choose the same food. "Today with my own money I have had one meal, which was a green vegan juice, and an acai bowl - a mini one as well," she continued. "I don't snack, so it's not like I'm eating these big meals and then snacking all day, so I'm not making excuses for it." So while her "meal choices are poor", when she buys her food herself, they "aren't that bad". "I do have one other thing to say as well about all of this," she concluded. I was size 22 eating FIVE takeaways a week - now I'm told I look like Gemma Owen after 8st weight loss without jabs "A lot of the people judging me in the comment section, I'm pretty sure that you guys do other things that are worse than eating!" As predicted, the comments was full of people criticising Saffron for her love of takeaways. "Domino's is processed crap, what's proud to be about it?" one wrote. "Grow up!" "That's pure toxic processed garbage that will end in disease/cancer," another said. "I feel bad for anyone who is naive like this." How to save money on pizza TAKEAWAY pizzas taste great but they can hit you hard on your wallet. Here are some tips on how to save on pizza: Cashback websites - TopCashback and Quidco will pay you to order your pizza through them. They're paid by retailers for every click that comes to their website from the cashback site, which eventually trickles down to you. So you'll get cashback on orders placed through them. Discount codes - Check sites like VoucherCodes for any discount codes you can use to get money off your order. Make you own topping - One savvy customer noticed that Domino's charges up to 70p MORE for pizzas on its menu compared to ordering the same one through the "create your own" option. It's worth trying out to see if it makes a difference before you place your next order. Buy it from the shops - It might not taste exactly the same but you'll save the most money by picking up your favourite pizza from your local supermarket. Some Asda stores sell freshly made ones from the pizza counter where prices start at £2. "There's about 4000 calories in that, and 700 calories in an acai bowl, so you gained about a pound today - wake up!" a third sighed. However, others defended Saffron, with one asking: "Why so many hate comments? "She's gorgeous and seems so sweet and lovely. "Everyone lives their life differently and does things their own way. "Keep doing you and ignore the negativity!" "Why are people so pressed in these comments?" another questioned. "She's not making you eat it!" "I agree with you 100%, food with my own money is just diabolical," a third laughed. "However food being paid for by others, I'm straight on Ubereats! "Don't listen to jealous people in the comments who would probably do worse things than eating." "'Random men pay for my food' well what other use do they have?" someone else joked. "Living the dream here! And I will never stop loving your honest videos!" "As someone who's pregnant and hates any food at home right now, if anyone wants to pay for me to have daily takeaways, I'm totally okay with that," another laughed. While someone else asked: "Would you ever be worried about the random guys showing up when you go to collect the food?" "I'm really not because the chances of anything happening by a complete stranger is a real thing unfortunately," Saffron replied. "And most of these guys are from areas hours and hours away from me!"

Buck Palace's cheeky reply to Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo's 'Meghan Markle' clip
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Buckingham Palace has been praised for delivering the "best response ever" to Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo's contentious video which seemed to lampoon Meghan Markle. Sophie, who is expecting, was filmed apparently twerking in a video shared by Jamie on Instagram, garnering a divided response yesterday. Critics on social media accused the couple, who tied the knot in April 2023, of attempting to imitate Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's renowned "twerking" footage captured just before the Duchess of Sussex's hospital birth. Moments after Jamie posted his video, supposedly taken inside Buckingham Palace, the official Royal Instagram handle "theroyalfamily" commented: "We see you" accompanied by eye and wink emojis. Joining in on the banter, The King's Trust chimed in with a post saying: 'All of our attendees are very well behaved' followed by watching eyes and a laughing emoji. In reaction to theroyalfamily's message, a supporter of Jamie responded: "best response ever! This really made me laugh." Another user exclaimed: "Brilliant," whilst tagging the account, reports the Mirror. Nevertheless, some Instagrammers criticised Jamie, currently a presenter on BBC Radio One, labelling his mockery "disrespectful". The 36 year old personality, famed for his role in Made in Chelsea from 2011 to 2020, can be seen dancing next to Sophie in what seems like the corridors of Buckingham Palace. His dance moves mirror those fleetingly seen by Prince Harry in a clip of Meghan that went viral earlier this month. "The Royal Baby has arrived" caption overlaid the viral clip, which amassed over 50,000 likes on Instagram. However, some users were less enthusiastic – one commented: "Disrespectful," garnering a handful of seven likes. Another voiced their dismay with: "Diabolical behaviour." A third fan expressed their let-down, saying: "Quite disappointing. I like you guys normally." Fellow celebrities also weighed in with their thoughts. Influencer Kerry Villers remarked on Jamie's expression: "I feel like you can see Jamie's excitement to become a dad in his face and it's pure joy." Tele presenter Rochelle Humes, formerly of The Saturdays, recounted her own rush to capture an image inside Buckingham Palace, noting: "The speed that this happened is genuinely impressive. I just about got mine in focus for a sneaky pic." Sophie, known from 'Made in Chelsea' fame (2017-2022), is seen beaming and swaying with her partner on the stately red-carpeted staircase with Royal portraits surrounding them. While it was a playful breach of protocol, Royal aides took it in stride. A palace insider reported to the Daily Mail seeing the lighter side: "I'm sure it was done in a spirit of fun, and of course aligned to Jamie's wonderful support for The King's Trust Awards - even if it's not something we would greatly encourage every guest to attempt." Yesterday, Jamie was present at a Buckingham Palace reception, rubbing shoulders with the likes of George and Amal Clooney, to spotlight The King's Trust's annual awards, celebrating some of the charity's most remarkable success stories.
