Safiyya's Vorajee shares tearjerking video of Azaylia on fourth anniversary of her death

Azaylia Cain's proud mum Safiyya Vorajee has paid a tearjerking tribute to her late daughter four years on from her death in April 2021
Safiyya Vorajee has paid a heartbreaking tribute to her late daughter Azaylia Cain on the fourth anniversary of her death. Azaylia was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukaemia at eight weeks old and sadly died eight months old.
Her parents, ex-Coventry City player turned reality star Ash ley Cain and his ex partner Safiyya had raised more than £1.5m in 2021 to fund specialist treatment in Singapore for their daughter, but sadly she died on April 24 just eight months after being born.

Paying tribute to her late daughter on the fourth anniversary of her death, Safiyya, 37, took to Instagram to remember her little girl. Alongside a heartwarming video of Safiyya singing to her baby daughter, she wrote: "4 years ago today heaven gained my princess. This day will always be the most painful of my life. The day you went to heaven, a part of me went with you. My heart broke in a way that can never fully heal but I carry you with me in every heartbeat, every breath, every step.
"Azaylia, in just eight months, you lit up the world. You did more than most of us could do in a lifetime. Your smile, so full of light… your angelic little face, your warrior spirit so brave, so bright. You gave me a love that cracked open my soul and filled it with something pure, something eternal.
"Even though I can't hold you in my arms anymore, I feel you all around me. In the songs that come on right when I need to hear them. In the quiet breeze that brushes my cheek. In the little signs only you and I would understand. You send me magic from heaven, and I treasure every moment of it."

Azaylia's proud mum continued: "You give me strength, Azaylia. You give me courage. You are my hero. Before you, I didn't know how to truly look up to someone but now, I look up to you every day. And with every tear and every smile, I try to become the woman I know you'd be proud of. I know you're guiding me, hand in hand, from above."
Referring to her daughter's headstone being installed, she continued: "Yesterday, when your crown was finally placed, a single feather drifted into your garden right after everyone had gone. That was your magic. You waited for the quiet, just for me. I felt your sparkle in that moment, and I knew you were there. You always are.
"You shine your light from heaven, and I promise to shine it down here. We're still connected soul to soul, heart to heart. From heaven to earth, I hear you. I feel you. I love you. And I'll keep looking up to you, forever and always.

"Earth is temporary baby we will share an eternity together and I'll be home with you. Azaylia I always sang this song to you as we never stop believing I love you."
Azaylia died in 2021 at just eight months old after a harrowing leukaemia diagnosis. Her parents, Ashley Cain and Safiyya documented their extraordinary efforts to try and save her life - including raising £1.5 million to fly her to Singapore for specialist treatment.

Sadly further complications with her cancer prevented the trip and, shortly after being taken off her pain medication, little Azaylia died in her parents' arms.
Many of Ashley's supporters likely remember the funeral procession he and Safiyya held for her in Nuneaton back in 2021, where mourners flooded the streets to pay their respects. Her tiny coffin was carried in a horse-drawn white carriage, and her parents released orange balloons into the sky as a symbolic act.

Ashley and Safiyya were visibly heartbroken during the procession, walking behind the carriage with personalised umbrellas before joining a car filled with floral arrangements, photos, and cuddly toys.
In a post this week, Ashley described Azaylia as "one of Earth's most beautiful little princesses, and one of Heaven's most beloved angels", writing that she "now has a special crown worthy enough to hold her story".
"I miss you with a pain that never fades," he added, "and I love you with a strength that will never end. Forever, with every piece of me - Daddy." Safiyya previously penned her own tribute, saying: "You are my Angel, my heartbeat, my soul… You will always be with me like a handprint on my heart."
Since Azaylia's passing, Ashley has dedicated himself to keeping her memory alive. The former reality star launched The Azaylia Foundation to support families fighting childhood cancer. He has now also welcomed a baby boy, Aliyas, with a new partner.

'What is Sarina doing?' - Wright 'baffled' by Wiegman call in Euro 2025 final

Ian Wright says he 'couldn't believe' Alessia Russo was taken off after scoring against Spain and feels Sarina Wiegman was 'very fortunate' to avoid a backlash as England went on to win the Euro 2025 final on penalties. For the third match on the bounce, the Lionesses were forced to come from behind after conceding to a Mariona Caldentey header midway through the first half in Basel. Just as they had done against both Sweden and Italy, the holders dug deep and managed to wrestle the momentum back in their favour, with Russo reacting brilliantly to nod home Chloe Kelly's pinpoint cross and level in the 57th minute. The two teams could not be separated after extra-time and it was England who eventually prevailed after another nerve-jangling shootout, with Kelly scoring the decisive spot-kick to seal a famous 3-1 win over the world champions. The Lionesses' latest triumph – which came at the end of a rollercoaster campaign – marked the first time in history that an English team had won a major tournament on foreign soil. It also further cemented Wiegman's legendary status as an international head coach. The 55-year-old first lifted the trophy with the Netherlands in 2017 before steering England to back-to-back titles over the last three years. Dissecting the final on the Crossways podcast, Wright was somewhat reluctant to criticise Wiegman considering just how far England had come since she took over the reins from Phil Neville. However, the iconic ex-Arsenal striker believes there were a couple of key decisions which could easily have gone against the England boss on another day. 'I've got to say, the Russo substitution is the most baffling thing I'll ever see if she's not injured. I could not believe it,' Wright said. 'Michelle [Agyemang] came on and, obviously, she's amazing, Young Player of the Tournament, only coming off the bench and doing enough to win, that was amazing on her part. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video 'But I think she [Agyemang] needs Russo on there with her in this time. 'They would have caused Spain so many problems because Russo would have dropped off, she would have been in the box. 'What is Sarina doing taking her off?! What's she doing taking her off?! I couldn't believe it.' According to Wright, Wiegman has proven beyond doubt that she is a 'genius' and a 'legend' – but hauling Russo off with 20 minutes remaining made little sense in the context of the match. 'She was feeding off scraps,' Wright said of Russo. 'When you're playing in a game like that, all you're hoping for is one chance that you can try and take, which she did, and then you get a second wind. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video 'When she went off you could see it. She's so sweet and she's saying thank you to everybody but you can see it in her mind, she must be thinking, 'What the f***'s going on?! What are you taking me off for?!' 'In the end, she's very fortunate. She's obviously shown she's a great coach with three European Championships on the spin. That's legendary. 'But some of the decisions… you're thinking to yourself, 'If that's what you're doing on purpose because you see the outcome in your head then you are a genius!', but she is a genius with what she's done.' Wright was similarly taken aback that Wiegman opted to 'gamble' on Lauren James' fitness when she had a player of Kelly's quality raring to go the start. 'With Lauren James, it's a Euros final. If she thinks, 'You know what? If I can get something out of myself I might be able to do it', then you're going to play,' he continued. 'And I think it was a gamble that I don't think Sarina should have taken, especially when you've got Chloe there. Chloe is ready to go and she showed that when she came on. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video 'I thought it was strange. Again, you're talking about somebody who is obviously not fit enough. 'Then, we know that [Lauren] Hemp can come back and work back as well and help and you've got Ona Batlle, Aitana Bonmati and Athenea del Castillo all on that side, that's the most attacking they can be on that side, and you've got Lauren James whose natural game is not to track back and try stop those players. 'She's half fit and it just felt like, 'Oh my gosh, what's going on?!'' More Trending Given the journey Kelly had gone on following a 'dark' time in her career at the start of the year, Wright had to fight back the tears when the Arsenal forward stepped up to convert the winning penalty. 'Who in history has had the opportunity to do that? She has won us a tournament the last kick,' he went on. 'I got emotional as well when she did it. I just had a feeling and I felt like I was going to cry. 'I was just so pleased for her and I wanted it to happen and I wanted it to happen for us a country.' Maro Itoje reveals stance on future Lions tour destinations

Maro Itoje has suggested that he would prefer that the British and Irish Lions keep touring Australia, New Zealand and South Africa rather than stray from tradition and visit elsewhere. The Lions have been to each of the three nations in turn every four years since 1989 and their history visiting each extends back into the 19th century. The touring side's hierarchy have, however, suggested that they are open to considering other options for tours in the future, with the one-sided nature of some of the tour games in Australia this year intensifying speculation that visits to other countries could precede a Test series in the future. France are reportedly in discussions over potentially hosting a game ahead of the women's tour in 2027 and men's tour to New Zealand in 2029, while prominent former players, including ex-Lions scrum half Matt Dawson, have suggested that a full tour of the country should happen. Itoje, though, errs on the side of a traditionalist, and admits that preserving the long history of the Lions is something that appeals to him. 'I thought about this at the beginning of the tour,' Itoje admitted. 'With the three nations [the Lions] tour, there's a strong sense of history and tradition. 'Perhaps the Lions is the last of the traditional organisations in the modern era. Part of me is keen for it to continue to rotate among the three countries it does. 'But, that being said, you have to stay relatively open minded. As it stands, the three nations it tours is pretty good. It wouldn't feel the same if we took a short haul flight. It needs a long haul flight!' This is Itoje's third trip with the touring side with the captain set to make his ninth Test appearance, and eighth start, in the third encounter with the Wallabies in Sydney this weekend. The lock has led the side to his first series victory after a draw in New Zealand in 2017 was followed by a 2-1 defeat in South Africa four years ago. 'It's been without a shadow of a doubt one of the highlights of my career,' Itoje said. 'When I am old and grey these occasions and these tours are going to be one of the experiences, I look back with extreme fondness [on]. 'This is something the players want and the players will continue to want for decades and for as long as rugby is being played. And it's something that I think world rugby wants. I know for each of the southern-hemisphere teams that the Lions tour – Australia, New Zealand and South Africa – it provides a huge sense of excitement for all of those three nations. And it adds an extra bit of spice and intrigue to the Six Nations when it's Lions year. So I am struggling to see the negatives. It is a great occasion, it is a great event and long may it continue.'

India said: "I was in a long-term relationship and then single for three years, I think I got the fear of dating. "You know when you go on those dates on the show, you feel so awkward. "It just put the first date fear of god into me and I didn't date for ages." Appearing on Olivia Attwood's So Wrong It's Right podcast, the host was keen to find out if she was dating again. India shared that she had initially been blocked from the dating app after it was thought her profile was fake. But after the hiccup, India was back on the site and ready to find love. India revealed: "After I came out of this series, the All Stars in January, I was like 'I need to get my act together' because I haven't dated anyone properly in ages, I'm getting older, I want to have kids... get a move on. "I downloaded Hinge and thought this is going to be great for me and then they deleted my profile for impersonation, they thought it was a fake account. "I had to redownload it and I had to send my passport and go through this whole palaver just to go on a first date with someone." Love Island viewers after star makes VERY rude comment about rival's family member She then shared her excitement of her blossoming new romance, saying: "But I finally got it back, went on a first date and the first guy I went on a date with was really nice. Olivia then asked if she was still dating the mystery man and a smitten India confirmed they were an item. It February India posted a dig at show partner Scott Thomas on her page. The model was dumped from the island alongside Marcel Somerville, but had spent the first week getting closer to Scott. However, their potential romance ground to a halt after a brutal game of Truth or Dare. After India declared him the 'most calculated in the villa', shortly after he saw his head turn towards bombshell Tina Stinnes, Scott didn't look too happy. It prompted him to declare: "That's just given me the ick mate. Big." But the swipe against her doesn't seem to have phased India, and in a TikTok in her car she is seen lipsyncing to a trend saying: "Did I say that? Did I? Do you know what, I don't remember saying that." She wrote across the clip: "Scott after calling me an ick." India was previously hailed the "most beautiful" Love Island contestant - before her beauty secrets were revealed. After leaving the villa, India admitted she had her eye on someone else on the show – but didn't make a move because of their age. "I think if Luca was a bit older then maybe Luca," India exclusively told The Sun. India previously took part on Love Island in 2019, during series five. She entered the villa as a bombshell and reached the final with Ovie Soko, finishing in third place, but the pair split four months after.
