Beyoncé heads to Washington, D.C.: Parking, bag policy, tailgating at Northwest Stadium
Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is headed to the Washington, D.C.-area for the next stop on her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour. She is set to perform two nights only at Northwest Stadium on the Fourth of July and again on July 7. The shows come after Beyoncé wrapped her two-night stint in her hometown of Houston.
Of course, Beyoncé first debuted her "Cowboy Carter" tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with 39 songs on the set list. Her shows have been filled with family, fashion, different music genres, and most notably country music and cultural commentary.
Here's what to know as fans head to the stadium, located in Landover, Maryland.
How to get to Northwest Stadium
Just five miles east of Washington, D.C., Northwest Stadium is located at 1600 Ring Road in Landover. It is easily accessible by car, rideshare or public transportation. Attendees taking public transit are advised to take the Blue or Silver Lines to the Morgan Boulevard Metro Station. Turn left onto Garrett Morgan Boulevard and follow the sidewalk for less than a mile to the stadium. The rideshare pickup and drop-off is now located in the Red Zone Lot.
Doors of the stadium open at 5 p.m local time. Meanwhile, the show is set to kick off at 7 p.m., though Beyoncé's actual start time has varied between 7 and 8 p.m.
Important information about parking and tailgating
Parking lots open at 3:30 p.m. local time, and tailgating prior to the concert is permitted. Concertgoers should park in the Red Zone Lot should they wish to tailgate as the spaces are wider. If driving, fans are encouraged to arrive early due to traffic. Fans may purchase parking onsite or in advance on the stadium's official website. Currently, parking spots start at $87 including fees.
What's the weather in Washington, D.C., and the DMV-area?
From the United States to Europe, Beyoncé and her fans have braved severe weather conditions, an evacuation, cold temperatures and rainy weather for her concerts. Fans should take note of the weather in their respective cities before putting on their chic cowboy-core attire.
In Landover, Maryland, fans can expect some hot temperatures and sunny skies for both shows. It's important to stay hydrated before and during the nearly three-hour show. Forecasts predict 83 degrees Fahrenheit on July 4 and 88 degrees Farenheit expected for the July 7 concert.
Bag policy at Northwest Stadium
Fans must follow the NFL clear-bag policy at the stadium. Guests are allowed to bring bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12-by-6-by-12 inches. This includes clear backpacks, clear fanny packs and clear cinch bags.
Attendees are also permitted to bring one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags, but the logo can only be on one side. Additionally, small, non-clear bags that do not exceed 4.5-by-6.5 inches, with or without a handle or strap, are allowed. Medical bags or kits are acceptable and will be searched at the gate.
Small cameras and cell phones are allowed if they are carried in loosely or in an approved clear bag. Non-professional cameras with non-removable lenses are permitted as long as the lens is less than 5 inches in length. Signs must be handheld, event-related and in good taste, and cannot obstruct another guest's view.

The nine-city tour will span the U.S. and Europe with the grand finale taking place in Las Vegas on July 26.

3 new PlayStation Plus games to play this weekend (July 4-6)
We have a double-whammy of a weekend to look forward to as PlayStation Plus subscribers. Not only do we have an extra-long weekend for the Fourth of July, but this month also marks the 15-year anniversary of PlayStation Plus. As such, Sony is hitting us with a particularly strong lineup of games at the Essential tier. Now, don't get your hopes up and expect all the best PS5 games to be on offer, but the selection is still very strong and offers something different to suit your tastes. We have one of the most popular action RPGs, a strong fighting game, and an artistic indie that you might have missed when it first came out. If you're looking for something new to play this weekend, I've got you covered. Diablo 4 The big title hitting the service this month is Diablo 4. While the last game took a few years to get into a good spot with its fans, this entry hit the ground running. That isn't to say there aren't controversies about the endgame and how the seasonal structure works among the hardcore, but there's a ton of fun to be had going through the story. Plus, now that there's no barrier for friends to jump in as well, including cross-platform players, it can be the perfect co-op game. If you are one to fall into that addictive loop of slaughtering dozens of monsters, snatching up tons of loot, and using it to fight bigger and badder enemies, you won't find a better example than this. Recommended Videos Diablo 4 is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The King of Fighters 15 Most of the focus in the fighting game space is taken up by Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Tekken now, but King of Fighters was once a major player in that space. The King of Fighters 15 was a triumphant return for the franchise after a bit of a break that calls back to the glory days. This is a 3v3 fighter with an impressive 39 character roster to run through the story mode and mix and match in vicious online fights. If you're not a seasoned fighting game player, worry not because it implements its own simplified control scheme to help you get a grip on the systems. As an added bonus, PS Plus players also get free access to a Leona DLC costume that puts her back in her classic outfit from 1996. The King of Fighters 15 is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Jusant Last up, do me a personal favor and don't ignore Jusant. This unique little game is all about climbing, with no combat and little in the way of explicit story. Instead, it is all about the individual journey and experience you have in finding your own way up this mountain as you master your moves and tools to scale ever higher. There's a lot of extra lore to discover on the mountain, but the real prize is what you personally take away from this metaphorical climb. If you're open to interpreting and investing yourself in what this game is trying to say, it could easily be a sleeper hit for you in this otherwise packed lineup. Jusant is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

How to keep your dog safe and calm during Fourth of July fireworks
The Fourth of July is usually filled with festive, fun activities for humans: hot dogs, hamburgers, parades, beer and the beach — but for dogs, the Fourth is filled with fireworks and fear. Last year, around July 4, I heard the snap, crackle and pop, pop, pop of impromptu fireworks. What did I hear next? The jingle jangle of my dog's collars as they quickly bolted from the couch, where they had been happily napping, and fled to their kennels in an effort to get away from the loud noises and take shelter in their safe spot. In addition to being an Executive Producer for CBS News 24/7, I'm also a volunteer trainer for Canine Companions, which provides expertly-trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities — free of charge. I'm frequently asked for dog training and socialization tips, and am happy to share what I've learned from my time with Canine Companions. Canine Companions encourages its volunteer puppy raisers to expose their furry friends to a variety of experiences, sights and sounds, as they are important to help prepare the dogs for their service. After all, when they're working service animals, they will need to maintain focus through all distractions. Here's what they recommend for all pet owners who want to keep their dogs calm during fireworks: First and foremost, don't take your dog to a fireworks show if you can avoid it. Some dogs are great around loud noises, but it's too risky a situation if something goes wrong. Remember, dogs have much more sensitive hearing than humans and are able to hear sounds four times farther away than we can, and fireworks are very loud. It's also a good idea to exercise your puppy or dog earlier in the day. Physical and mental stimulation are both great ways to tire puppies out and prepare them to spend the evening in their kennel at home. Some fun ideas for mental stimulation include: Playing hide and seek in the house. To do this, leave your dog in a sit or down, then hide somewhere in the house. Call them to you, and be ready to praise and reward when they find you. Give their meal (or part of their meal) as a frozen Kong, or other toy, to occupy and stimulate them as they concentrate on getting their food. To make a frozen Kong, take a portion of the dog's meal and soak it in warm water for about 20-30 minutes until it has increased in size. Then, stuff the soaked kibble into the center of a Kong or similar toy and freeze. We recommend doing this a day or two in advance so it's already frozen when you need to use it. Have a few fun training sessions throughout the day! Work on some things that may require them to move a bit more, like jump, touch, recalls, etc. If you have a dog that has shown sensitivity to noises, or if this is a puppy's first Fourth of July and you're not sure how they will react, here are some helpful tips to make it a good experience:

Star-spangled sangria is the perfect drink to sip this Fourth of July
Try this take on a classic summer sangria that is perfect for July Fourth. 2:59 Celebrate the Fourth of July this year with a fruity star-spangled sangria recipe from lifestyle blog Heart and Seam. From fashion and beauty to wellness and recipes, Heart and Seam founder Janet Cooke shares real-life experiences on her blog from her home in New Hampshire -- including her festive and tasty summer sangria recipe. "This is a fun, festive spin on a classic sangria recipe," Cooke told "GMA." "The best part about this recipe is that you can make it in large batches, so it's perfect for a Fourth of July cookout where there will be lots of family and friends to enjoy." Check out the full recipe below, and pour this red, wine and blueberry beverage all day long. Summer Sangria Ingredients 1 bottle red wine (I like pinot noir or shiraz) 1 1/2 cups cranberry juice 1 cup brandy Juice from 1 large orange 2 cups fresh blueberries 8 ounces fresh strawberries, cut in quarters Club soda Directions To a large pitcher add wine, cranberry juice, brandy and orange juice. Add blueberries and strawberries. Chill for a few hours. To serve, fill glasses half full with ice and use a slotted spoon to add fruit from the pitcher to each glass. Pour liquid over ice and fruit, top with club soda and serve. Tips: Add raspberries, blackberries and even apples to create even more of a festive drink. Be sure to add the ice to the glasses and not the pitcher itself. You will dilute the sangria if you add directly to the pitcher.
