Rita Ora becomes latest celeb to quit Kate Moss's model agency in move that ‘made sense'

The Sun03-05-2025

RITA ORA is never one to sit still when it comes to modelling a successful career.
And I can reveal it's all change for the pop star, who has quit the Kate Moss Agency after seven years as she sets her sights on global brand deals.

I have been told that the Anywhere hitmaker is set to spread her wings after it was announced she had signed to the huge US firm Range Media in October.
A fashion insider said: 'Rita and Kate are still pals, but the time has come for them to do their own thing when it comes to business.
'Rita recently signed with Range, which handles all areas of her career — including music, film, TV and brand deals.
'It made sense for Rita to part ways with the Kate Moss Agency and have all of her deals in one place.
'Kate has been a great mentor and Rita has learned a great deal from her modelling experience.'
Speaking about the supermodel in 2018, Rita said: 'Kate has always been a mentor and life-long friend.
'It's a real honour to be working with her.
'An inspiration'
'I have watched her career and business grow and establish itself as one of the most important and recognisable brands.
The singer had previously said of Kate: 'She's one of the most normal, nicest, motherly, caring people on the planet.'
Rita became the face of Pepe Jeans' campaign in 2023 through Mossy's agency, with the brand's ad set to her track, Don't Think Twice.

Rita was snapped in LA on Friday night at Chateau Marmont, right, where she is supporting Kylie Minogue on tour.
Recent accounts from the agency showed that it owed creditors £854,000 — with £614,000 paid to 'talent', which includes Kate's daughter Lila Moss and Primal Scream singer Bobby Gillespie's son Lux.
Meanwhile, Rolling Stones legend Keith Richards' granddaughter Ella Richards has also disappeared from the agency website.
The model is Kate's goddaughter — and she dates photographer Sascha Von Bismarck, who is the brother of Kate's ex-boyfriend Nikolai.
Talk about the ex factor . . .
DAISY'S A HAPPY BUNNY
DAISY LOWE has revealed she's happy she stripped off for Playboy as it caught the eye of her fiance.
The model posed nude for the mag in 2011 when she was 22 and admits her property developer fella Jordan Saul was a fan of the shoot.
7
She revealed: 'My wonderful fiance is positive he saw that Playboy when he was a teenager and was like, 'I'd quite like to marry a Playboy bunny'. And it turns out he is marrying a Playboy bunny.'
Daisy said on the The Savoy Originals podcast: 'Now I'm a bit older I'm really happy I did Playboy.
'It was always on my bucket list.
'I'm pleased that if I live until the ripe old age of 90 I can look back and go, 'Oh, look what I did once'.'
The mum of one did have a complaint, though: 'The thing I didn't appreciate was the retouching.
'What's the point in booking me if you don't want a feminine body?
'It's Playboy. I'm allowed to have hips.'
Agreed.
IMPOSTER SYD-ROME
EVEN though she won Britain's Got Talent last year, singer Sydnie Christmas has revealed she cannot shake off her 'imposter syndrome'.
She told Biz on Sunday: 'It took me until I was 28 for a little spark of 'oh this could be'.
7
'That is a long time to be trying and not succeeding so I think imposter syndrome is my middle name – apart from Mary.'
Sydnie has released a cover of Dame Vera Lynn's wartime classic We'll Meet Again ahead of the VE Day 80th anniversary commemorations next week, saying she wanted to bring it to life for the younger generation.
Dame Vera would be proud.
Queen B's royal family
BEYONCE showed her music was a family affair as she performed in Los Angeles.
The Texas Hold 'Em hitmaker looked stunning in a shimmer shirt and thigh-high cowboy boots at the SoFi Stadium in California for her Cowboy Carter tour.
7
Queen B was seen with her mum Tina Knowles and daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi, who she shares with husband Jay-Z.
Meanwhile, some fans were surprised to notice rows of empty seats, below right, during her concert on the second night of the tour.
VOICE COACH LEANN SPINNING OFF TO U.S.
LEANN RIMES has quit The Voice as a coach, I can reveal.
The Can't Fight The Moonlight singer joined ITV's spinning chair talent show last year, having already done a stint on the Aussie version.
7
But now she has thrown in the towel to focus on her career in the US and appear on the American series as a mega mentor alongside Sheryl Crow.
A source said: 'LeAnn loved her time on the UK show, but wants to focus on her career in the States.
'She was hugely popular with cast and crew and everybody loved having her as part of the team.
'Bosses are currently on the lookout for another female singer to join the all-star line-up.
'They haven't made a decision just yet but are having conversations.
'The show will film its 14th series later this summer.
'Producers know they've had some amazing names so far, from Olly Murs to Anne-Marie, so they want to secure someone who will cause a lot of excitement around the show and bring a new energy to the competition.'
LeAnn's exit follows confirmation that Danny Jones WILL return to the panel, alongside his McFLY bandmate Tom Fletcher, following his drunken Brits kiss with Maura Higgins.
Series veterans Sir Tom Jones and Wil.I.Am will also resume their roles.
GLASTO will get a magic touch when it returns next month – in the form of a set from Dynamo.
The magician – real name Steven Frayne – told me he has been speaking to festival founder Michael Eavis and daughter Emily.
He said: 'I'm going to Glastonbury and can't wait.'
Dynamo also revealed Usher saw him at his show in London's Soho, adding: 'That was pretty great.'
Let's hope the illusionist can magic the rain away from Worthy Farm.
