Broncos vs. Cardinals preseason game will air live on NFL Network (and these TV channels)
The game will be locally televised in the Denver market on 9News (KUSA) with Steve Levy (play-by-play) and Ryan Harris (analyst) providing commentary while Cynthia Frelund and Scotty Gange report from the sidelines. The Broncos-Cardinals game will also be nationally televised on NFL Network. Football fans can stream NFL Network on FuboTV.
On the radio, the game will be locally broadcast on KOA 850 AM & 94.1 FM.

In addition to being broadcast on the above channels, the Broncos-Cardinals game will also be nationally televised on NFL Network. Out-of-market fans can also stream the game live on NFL+.
After playing three preseason games in August, the Broncos will open the regular season at home against the Tennessee Titans on Sept. 7 (view the full schedule). Denver is considered a 7.5-point favorite in Week 1.

Broncos have a 3rd player make NFL Top 100 list
One of the biggest compliments one can have is respect from your peers; Denver Broncos outside linebacker Nik Bonitto did everything he could to earn it in spades in 2024. In NFL Network's list of Top 100 players, as voted on by players, Bonitto came in at No. 38 (after being unranked last year). Bonitto, in his third year as a pro, started 15 games, participating in all 18 contests for the Broncos. Bonitto racked up 13.5 sacks, forced two fumbles, had a pick-six, a fumble returned for a touchdown and 48 total tackles (33 solo, 15 assisted) and 16 tackles for loss. Bonitto's huge year in 2024 will hopefully act as a springboard to only get better as he seeks a new contract beyond the 2025 season. Bonitto is the third Bronco (so far) on the Top 100 list, alongside quarterback Bo Nix (No. 64) and defensive lineman Zach Allen (No. 90), with reigning Defensive Player of the Year Pat Surtain certain to join them on the list and guard Quinn Meinerz deserving a spot as well. Cardinals claim OL Roy Mbaeteka off waivers
The Cardinals were awarded offensive lineman Roy Mbaeteka off waivers Tuesday, the team announced. Mbaeteka replaces Valentin Senn as the team's international player, with Senn now on injured reserve. He has spent time with the Giants, Bears and Browns since coming into the league in 2022. Mbaeteka, a native of Nigeria, did not play high school or college football. He arrived to the Giants via the NFL's International Pathway Program. The Cardinals needed some depth at the position after second-year tackle Christian Jones hurt his knee Saturday against the Chiefs. Coach Jonathan Gannon said Jones will 'miss some time' because of the injury. Senn injured his neck in training camp, ending his season. The native of Austria played college football at Colorado and Connecticut.

NASCAR Cup Series Connor Zilisch Has Surgery On Broken Collarbone, Return TBD Updated Aug. 12, 2025 3:20 p.m. ET share facebook x reddit link Trackhouse Racing driver Connor Zilisch had surgery Tuesday to repair a broken collarbone suffered in a fall Saturday while celebrating his victory at Watkins Glen. Zilisch, in a social media post, said he underwent the surgery so a plate and screws could be put in and help the healing process. The Xfinity Series points leader did not say when he might return to racing. The series is off this weekend and then has three regular-season races remaining at Daytona, Portland (road course) and World Wide Technology Raceway (commonly known as Gateway). Zilisch indicated on the "Door Bumper Clear" podcast that he was briefly knocked out after the fall, where he had one foot on the roof and one on the driver's side window sill, where he had not tucked the window net inside the car but was instead laying underneath his foot. "I was climbing out of the car and obviously the window net was on the door and as soon as they started spraying water, my foot slipped and the last thing I remember is being halfway done and falling," Zilisch said during the USA telecast of the Cup race Sunday. ADVERTISEMENT "I'm glad it wasn't any worse." All CT scans Saturday proved negative for any head injuries. Zilisch, who races for JR Motorsports in the series and leads teammate Justin Allgaier by 13 points in the standings, fell off his car when he lost his footing while trying to stand on his car following his sixth victory of the season. If he doesn't start a race, he would need a waiver to miss a race(s) and still be eligible for the playoffs. He also could possibly start a race and then have a stand-by driver replace him during the event — Zilisch would then get the points for wherever the replacement driver finishes. Zilisch, the No. 1 Cup prospect in a FOX Sports midseason prospect ranking released last week, is expected to race full time in the NASCAR Cup Series next year.
