vivo Y400 5G launched with SD 4 Gen 2 and 90W charging
The rest of the specs are shared between the two Y400 models. You get a 6.67-inch AMOLED (FHD+ 120Hz) which maxes out at 1,800 nits peak brightness alongside an IP68/69 ingress protection and a massive 6,000 mAh battery.

It appears that the 5G model uses a lithium-ion (Li-Ion) cell instead of the Silicon-carbon (Si/C) one found on the 4G model.
Elsewhere, Y400 boots Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 and comes in two storage trims - 128GB and 256GB. It also brings a 50MP main cam and a 2MP depth sensor on the back.
vivo Y400 5G is available in Glam White and Olive Green colors. The 8/128GB version is priced at INR 21,999 ($250) while the 8/256GB model will go for INR 23,999 ($273). Open sales in India start on August 7 via vivo's e-store and partnering retailers.

Realme P3 Ultra battery life and charging test results
The Realme P3 Ultra was originally announced in March, but started its global rollout fairly recently. We posted a hands-on with the phone back when it was first unveiled, but now we have a unit in for review. We can now share some of our findings and we'll focus on the battery. The Realme P3 Ultra boasts a Silicon-Carbon battery with 6,000mAh capacity. According to official numbers, the bundled 80W charger can get it from 1% to 100% in 47 minutes. Starting with battery life, it scored an impressive Active use rating of 16:47h. This is thanks to a strong web browsing and good call time results. Here's how it compares against similar phones. The Realme 14 Pro+ also has a 6,000mAh Si/C battery and the same 6.83' 1272p+ OLED display. However, the Realme only comes out ahead in the browsing test, in all other tests it ran out of juice faster. Realme P3 Ultra The Oppo Reno13 Pro is a bit older, but uses the same chipset (Dimensity 8350) as the P3 Ultra, the same 6.83' OLED display, but has a slightly smaller 5,800mAh battery. That holds it back a bit, but the Reno posted great results nevertheless. The Motorola Edge 60 Pro also uses the Dimensity 8350 and powers it off a 6,000mAh Si/C battery. Its display is a bit smaller at 6.7', but it's close enough. The Moto also turned in good results, though not quite good enough to match the P3 Ultra. bigpic/ data-battery2=41:42_16:12_19:47_9:29> Moving on to charging, the Realme P3 Ultra is off to a bit of a slow start – 90W systems get more done in 15 minutes, but even the same 80W SuperVOOC in the older Realme inches ahead. By the 30 minute mark, the lead opens up – the Poco is almost done, despite having 500mAh further to go, while the 6,000mAh battery in the Realme 14 Pro+ is 7% ahead and the 200mAh smaller Reno13 Pro battery is 12% ahead. The full charge – which is advertised to take 47 minutes – takes a bit longer than that and finishes in 51 minutes. That puts it ahead of the Realme 14 Pro+, which slowed down at the final stretch, but is 7 minutes slower than what the 90W Motorola TurboCharge needs for the same battery capacity. The Realme P3 Ultra offers impressive battery life without being excessively thick or heavy – in fact, it's quite slender at 7.4mm and 183g or 186g. The exact weight depends on which color you go for – our review unit is the Glowing Lunar option with a glow-in-the-dark back. Do you need that? No. But do you want it? The kid in us whispers 'Yes'. Anyway, the 80W charging system doesn't get to brag about any victories, but in practice it is fast enough – even a dead battery will be ready for a full day in half an hour. Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G gets certified on its way to release
Redmi's upcoming Note 15 line is expected to comprise a lot of models, and there will still be 4G-only variants of some of them, in case you've been wondering. At least the Redmi Note 15 Pro is getting a 4G-only iteration, as revealed today through its EEC certification. If the Pro model gets a 4G-only option, we assume the lower-end choices will too. Based on an earlier rumor, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G is expected to be sold in Türkiye, Indonesia, and Russia. It will have the model number 25100RA69G. Unfortunately, none of its specs have been revealed through this particular certification process. The Redmi Note 14 family went official in China last September, and then made its global debut in January. Samsung Display reveals what the next foldable devices might be wearing
On Monday, Samsung Display announced a new brand of foldable OLED displays called MONTFLEX, which will formally be introduced this week at the K-Display 2025 Korea Display Exhibition in Seoul, South Korea. Samsung Display has been producing foldable OLED panels for seven years, and the latest screens are not only slimmer and lighter than past displays, they are also extremely durable, remaining fully functional after 500,000 folds. Jae-Nam Yun, Executive Vice President and Head of Mobile Display Marketing Team at Samsung Display said, "Since beginning mass production of foldable OLEDs in 2019, we have continued to drive technological innovation to perfect the product—becoming the first in the industry to apply UTG (Ultra Thin Glass) and LEAD, a polarizer-free OCF technology, to foldables." The Samsung unit says the moniker "represents the pinnacle of foldable innovation and embodies the company's drive for the perfect foldable panel." Additionally, the first four letters of the MONTFLEX name each stand for a key strength of Samsung's foldable OLED displays: M-mechanically durable offering outstanding folding reliability. O-opto-mechanically flat, delivering a vivid display with minimal crease. N-narrow bezels that maximize screen area. T-thin and lightweight design that enhances portability. Jae-Nam Yun adds that, "Following the launch of a foldable panel with a newly developed 'shock-resistant structure' that passed the 500,000-fold durability test, we will continue pushing the boundaries to deliver even more refined foldable products that exceed market expectations. Samsung's current foldable OLED screenn is called the Infinity Flex Display. The latter includes a proprietary ultra-thin glass (UTG) allowing these panels to be thin and flexible. Through the launch of MONTFLEX, Samsung Display said that it hopes to show to both consumers and its customers the "unique value" of its foldable OLED panels. At the same time, Samsung wants to remind the world that it expects it leadership position in foldables to remain "a key driver of future growth." We should know much more about the new displays when Samsung puts them on display (pardon the pun) during the 2025 Korea Display Exhibition opening this coming Thursday.
