LUKE LITTLER savaged Manchester United after Bruno Fernandes was linked with a move away.
The world champion spoke to media after winning his sixth night of Premier League Darts in Sheffield.

The Nuke had already secured his place in next week's grand final at the O2 Arena, and was asked about his competition - Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinal.
The topic then moved on to United following their Europa League final defeat the previous night.
First Littler was asked about rumours linking Fernandes with a move to Saudi Arabia after the darts star responded to the speculation on social media.
He wrote in response to the links: "Surely not."

Littler was asked what it would mean for United to lose their captain, and he said: "Shambles.
"Even losing that game, everyone knows financially what it has done to us.
"But fair play to Spurs, what did they have? Three shots in the first half and that's all they had.
"Sat behind the ball. But they did a great job."

Following the defeat in Bilbao Fernandes stated he is willing to leave if the club decide to cash in on him this summer.
Fernandes said: "I have always been honest. I've always said I will be here until the club says to me that it's time to go.

"I'm eager to do more, to be able to bring the club the great days.
"In the day that the club thinks that I'm too much or it's time to part ways, football is like this, you never know it. But I've always said it and I keep my word in the same way.
"If the club thinks it's time to part ways because they want to do some cashing in or whatever, it's what it is, and football sometimes is like this."

Lewis Ferguson to Napoli transfer hinges on one thing amid prospect of Scotland midfield takeover in Naples
The Serie A champions have been heavily linked with the Bologna skipper Bologna captain Lewis Ferguson is once again the subject of transfer interest after another fine season which ended in the club lifting silverware for the first time since 1974. But the Scotland ace's chances of landing a big money move to Serie A champions Napoli to link up with Dark Blues pals Scott McTominay and Billy Gilmour will reportedly hinge on one key decision made by Antonio Conte's side. Former Aberdeen and Hamilton midfielder Ferguson has been heavily tipped with a switch to the south of Italy this summer, having also previously been linked with the likes of AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus. Ferguson's hopes of going to Euro 2024 12 months ago were ended with a serious knee injury picked up near the end of the 2023/24 season but the 25-year-old has since bounced back in impressive style under Vicenzo Italiano. The Tartan Army hero skippered Bologna to glory in the Coppa Italia with 1-0 win against AC Milan in Rome, securing a place in the revamped league stage of the Europa League next season. However, Napoli's interest in the ex-Rangers kid will only be stepped up in the event that they lose one of their current stars. That's according to Italian outlet Il Mattino (via calcionapoli1926) who claim that a bid for Ferguson is highly dependant on the future of midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa. Cameron international Anguissa has been a mainstay in Gli Azzuri's engine room in recent years and scored six league goals last season en route to the club's fourth Scudetto. But the former Fulham star is also a wanted man, amid reports that Besiktas in Turkey and Al-Qadsiah in the Saudi Pro League have both enquired about his services. Il Mattino goes on to say that Napoli value Anguissa at around €20million and that he would need to be sold for Napoli to make an approach for Ferguson, who is said to be valued by Bologna at £25million. Ferguson is under contract at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara until 2028, with his club side having the option of an additional year. Last month, the player's agent Bill McMurdo admitted that Ferguson's future is entirely in the Coppa Italia winners' court. He told TMW: "Lewis has a long-term contract and would be happy to stay until the end of it. "We believe Bologna would be happy for him to see out his contract. However, if the club were to receive an offer they consider satisfactory, Lewis would have to consider any potential interest, but only at that point.' Despite reports that Conte would walk out on the Naples club over a lack of transfer funds just weeks after steering the team to Serie A glory, the veteran coach has instead committed his services for another season. Napoli have also been liked with a move for Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi.

Dundee United ace recalls tussle with Man City £50m man Tijjani Reijnders ahead of Euro return
Craig Sibbald grimaces as he recalls Dundee United's 2022 annihilation in Alkmaar. Nothing can cushion the blow of a 7-0 defeat. But perhaps a modicum of solace can be taken from the respective career paths of several stars within that AZ team. Sibbald crossed swords with Tijjani Reijnders in the heart of midfield over the two legs – getting the better of him in the first game at Tannadice – while Milos Kerkez was a marauding presence down the left. Vangelos Pavlidis scored twice in Alkmaar. Pascal Janssen's classy outfit went on to reach the SEMI-FINAL of the Europa Conference League that season. Reijnders this week put pen to paper on a £46.5 million deal to join Manchester City following a splendid couple of seasons with Milan. Kerkez will reportedly head for Liverpool, with a fee of £50 million mooted. Pavlidis scored 29 goals for Benfica in all competitions last term – including a Champions League hat-trick against Barcelona. In hindsight, United's last foray into continental competition saw them crash and burn against one of the most profitable squads AZ have ever assembled – and Sibbald looks back on the tie as a valuable learning curve. 'They had some top players – Tijjani Reijnders, Vangelis Pavlidis, Milos Kerkez and others – and they have all moved on to bigger clubs,' recalled Sibbald. 'Alkmaar were a really good side; they ended up in the semi-finals that season. 'But you need learn from playing against players of that standard and try to put those lessons into place when you get back there. 'That's the level you want to be playing at, no matter how tough it is, because it's some experience.' Mercifully, United will not be paired against a side comparable to AZ when the Europa Conference League second qualifying round draw takes place in Nyon, Switzerland next Wednesday. Due to their seeded status, they can expect an – on paper – winnable tie. And Sibbald is determined to give the Arabs a continental adventure to savour this time. Sibbald continued: 'I learned plenty from it – mainly that you can't switch off for a second against that standard of player in Europe. 'You saw what happened in Alkmaar; it went horribly wrong, and we were punished for every mistake. It was a shock at the time. A real shock to the system. 'I'd love the chance to put that right.' He added: 'You know what it means to the fans, and they turn out in numbers on these European trips.'
