Tammy Hembrow's ex Matt Zukowski makes bombshell divorce claim - just days after fitness influencer's steamy date with AFL star Bailey Smith: 'It was unhealthy for me'

Daily Mail10 hours ago
Matt Zukowski made a shocking claim about his divorce from Tammy Hembrow on Thursday, just days after she was spotted locking lips with AFL star Bailey Smith.
The podcaster, 30, told co-host Anna McEvoy on the latest episode of Where's Your Head At? that he was the one to end things with the 31-year-old fitness influencer.
This reveal would come as a shock to those who watched Tammy's tearful split announcement video, in which she claimed the opposite.
'Yeah, so my weekend was a different style of weekend... Obviously, everyone's seen it … my ex has moved on with someone,' Matt said.
'A couple of months ago, I made one of the hardest decisions of my life. I decided to leave a relationship that I found was not right for me. It was unhealthy for me.
'And I made the decision for my mental health to leave.'
His claims were a far cry from his very first message about the couple's divorce, where he said they both made a joint decision to separate.
In June, after months of split rumours, he released a statement saying they had 'both struggled' with the choice to end things.
Tammy took to her own social media at around the same time, breaking down in tears on camera as she hinted their break-up wasn't mutual.
She tearfully claimed she had 'rose-coloured glasses on' when she first got engaged to Matt just three months after they started dating.
The mum-of-three went on to say, 'I am going to be getting a divorce,' leading her fans to speculate she was the one who dumped Matt.
However, the former Love Island star's most recent comments on his podcast have suggested the opposite.
Matt went on to say he was struggling to watch Tammy move on so publicly, after her Gold Coast tryst with Bailey, 24, flooded the headlines this week.
'As much as I know the relationship was done, seeing the person that you married and once loved and thought you were gonna spend the rest of your life with, it's not an easy sight to see them moving on,' he said.
'When it's splashed everywhere, that sucks.'
He went on to clarify he wasn't 'judging anyone for moving on quickly', but just found it difficult to watch it happen so publicly just weeks after their split.
'I don't think anyone wants to see their ex moving on with someone,' he said.
'No matter how the relationship ended, no matter what, you still don't want to see that, especially when you've married them, and you thought that that was your person for the rest of your life.'
He added: 'I'm not angry that it's happened. It's just not ideal to see. It's not what you want to see.'
It's a different tune to the one he sang when pap pictures first emerged of Tammy and Bailey cosying up during their first date over the weekend—a date the Geelong player flew up to Queensland just to attend.
When approached for comment on the photos of Tammy and Bailey, Matt told a reporter: 'I heard about this and it's not a nice feeling.
'We only broke up eight weeks ago. I just don't understand how someone can move on so quickly.'
'It's been 48 days and I'm still trying to work out how I feel as a person after committing in marriage. I'm trying to focus on myself and heal,' he continued.
Tammy was spotted cosying up to Bailey during a lunch date on the Gold Coast on Saturday— after the long-haired midfielder flew in from Melbourne just to see her.
The Cats' new recruit was riding high after helping his team thrash Essendon at GMHBA Stadium last Friday night.
By Saturday morning, he was on a flight to Brisbane for his secret weekend rendezvous with Tammy.
Bailey didn't skimp on their date, taking her out for a swanky meal at Pan-Asian hotspot Rick Shores at Burleigh Heads, where the pair were anything but discreet.
More photos emerged soon after which showed the frisky pair locked in a steamy make-out session while waiting on their food.

Reality TV star Matt Wright's 'abusive' tirade revealed as he faces three counts of attempting to pervert the course of justice

Reality TV star Matt Wright was 'hostile and abusive' to his helicopter pilots when they stopped crocodile-egg collecting because of a bad storm and went to the pub, a jury has heard. Wright has pleaded not guilty to three counts of attempting to pervert the course of justice after a February 28 chopper crash that killed Outback Wrangler co-star Chris 'Willow' Wilson. Pilot Sebastian Robinson was left a paraplegic after the crash and has been giving evidence in the Supreme Court in Darwin by video link from his wheelchair. Prosecutors allege Wright was worried crash investigators would discover flight-time meters were disconnected regularly to extend flying hours beyond official thresholds and paperwork was falsified. Crown prosecutor Jason Gullaci SC on Friday asked Mr Robinson about a storm on January 26, 2022 that prompted him and fellow pilot Michael Burbidge to call off crocodile-egg collecting at the Daly River mouth. 'It was huge ... across the whole horizon, going fast,' the 32-year-old said. To sling egg collectors below a helicopter onto croc nests in such a storm was 'very dangerous' for pilots and egg collectors, he said. The crews flew their choppers out and went to the Noonamah Tavern for a beer but when Wright heard his reaction was 'very hostile and abusive', Mr Robinson said. He said Wright phoned him saying; 'What the f*** are youse doing back? Egg collecting is not meant to be easy, you wait the weather out ... and get on with the job.' 'I told him to get f***ed, get vaccinated and fly his own helicopter,' Mr Robinson told the court, referring to Wright being an anti-vaxxer who was unable to fly into Arnhem Land because of COVID-19 restrictions. Wright's tirade contributed to Mr Robinson's desire to leave Wright's Helibrook company and run his own helicopter operation, he said. In phone messages the next day Wright apologised to his pilots and egg collectors for 'blowing up' at them but he had been under pressure with other missions, the court heard. Mr Robinson previously admitted cocaine use and supply but has told the court he never flew helicopters while high. In a pre-crash text message exchange played to the court on Thursday, Mr Robinson said he was 'crook as a dog', with a friend texting back, 'snorting too much coke out of Matty's arse', in a reference to Wright. In a line of questioning stemming from that on Friday, Mr Gullaci asked Mr Robinson: 'Have you ever sniffed cocaine off Mr Wright's arse crack?' 'Absolutely not,' Mr Robinson replied. 'Have you ever given anyone a blow job to get cocaine,' Mr Gullaci then asked, again getting a negative response. 'That's woken the jury up,' Acting Justice Allan Blow said, as Wright chuckled in the dock. Senior defence counsel David Edwardson KC on Friday accused Mr Robinson of concocting a story Wright had asked him to manipulate helicopter flying hours. Mr Robinson has said Wright asked him at his hospital bedside in Brisbane 11 days after the crash to transfer flying hours from the crashed chopper IDW onto Mr Robinson's ZXZ machine, which he declined to do. Mr Edwardson put it to Mr Robinson the conversation about manipulating flying hours never happened. But Mr Robinson said he remembered Wright saying something along the lines, 'we might have to put some hours across onto ZXZ'. Mr Robinson has also told the court he remembered at the hospital his phone was in Wright's hand and he was deleting items from it, which he believed to be helicopter flight times. But Mr Edwardson put it to Mr Robinson that was an 'absolute falsehood' because Wright never touched his phone and did not delete any messages. Mr Robinson said he disagreed. The charges against Wright do not relate to the cause of the accident and the prosecution does not allege he is responsible for either the crash, Mr Wilson's death or Mr Robinson's injuries. The trial continues.

Soap ‘mega-hunk' looks unrecognisable as he reunites with co-star and returns to show 20 years after quitting

A NEIGHBOURS "mega-hunk" looks unrecognisable as he reunites with one of his 90s' co-stars. This actor, now 55, has returned to Ramsay Street 20 years after quitting the Aussie soap. 5 5 5 5 Soap star Richard Grieve is back in Erinsborough, as Neighbours gets ready to bid farewell for a second time. Die-hard fans of the soap will remember him for playing Sam Kratz, who during his time on the soap became a pin-up on teenagers' bedroom walls. Richard's character rode into Ramsay Street in 1994 on a motorcycle clad in a leather jacket. He was an instant hit, and soon secured his Neighbours star heartthrob status. Richard previously revealed how he was unsure about attending the audition for Sam, after he learned that producers were looking for "a mega-hunk". However, he borrowed a leather jacket to make himself look more like the character, and he was told that he had the role a week after the audition. After leaving Neighbours in 1996, he joined rival soap Home and Away, playing Dr Lachlan Fraser. H. Staying with soaps, he then headed to blighty and starred in Emmerdale for two years until 2009. Sam is joined in his Neighbours return by Kimberley Davies, who appeared as Annalise Hartman from 1993 to 1996. The 52-year-old later moved to the United States, appearing in episodes of Friends and Ally McBeal. 90s soap bombshell hasn't aged a day as she returns to show twenty years after quitting The pair were pictured reuniting in a promo picture for their forthcoming return. Meanwhile, it comes after it was recently revealed how the final episode of Neighbours could reportedly 'fall flat"' - due to a lack of legends returning. So far, Richard and Kimberley are the only ones. Earlier this year, the beloved Aussie soap was axed for a second time, having been saved by Amazon after 37 years on Channel 5. The original finale saw Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan return to Ramsay Street, alongside other show alums. However, bosses' attempts to bring back A-listers this time around have reportedly not panned out. According to Daily Mail Australia, stars such as Margot Robbie, Natalie Imbruglia, Guy Pearce and Russell Crowe are all said to have snubbed the final episode. An insider told the publication: "The cast of the current season will need to rely on the storylines that involve their characters, because breaking out the cheque book won't cover it." Regarding the 2022 finale, the source added: "The mega stars waived their usual million dollar fees and felt like they were waving goodbye to the show that launched them. It was very classy. "The fact that Alan Fletcher, Jackie Woodburn and Ryan Maloney were tipped off as the show was saved during Neighbours' 'farewell tour' was pretty awkward in retrospect." The last episode of Neighbours will air on December 11. Neighbours stars who made it big The long-running Aussie soap has launched the careers of some of Hollywood's biggest stars. Here are some of the Neighbours alums who went on to make it big after starring on the soap... Kylie Minogue Before she hit the big time with her music career, Kylie shot to fame playing Charlene Mitchell on Neighbours. Shortly after her arrival, Kylie began an on and off-screen romance with co-star Jason Donovan, who played Scott Robinson, which gained the couple an army of adoring fans. Jason Donovan After his stint as Scott, singer and actor Jason became an international popstar and had his pick acting of roles. He moved to the U.K., married, had children and has since starred in over a dozen West End show, most notably Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat. Alan Dale New Zealand born actor Alan was one of Neighbours 12 original cast members having made his debut as Jim Robinson on the soap's first episode on 18 March 1985. As the head of the Robinson clan, widower Jim lived at Number 26 Ramsay Street with his children Paul, Julie, Scott and Lucy, and was a real anchor in the community. He stayed with the show for eight years, before his character was killed off in dramatic scenes aired in 1993 but which still reverberate through the soap to this day. Margot Robbie Way before she was Barbie or Harley Quinn, Margot was best known as Ramsay Street resident Donna Freedman. Her notable storylines included her marriage to Ringo Brown and becoming a young widow following his tragic death. After three years she bid farewell to the soap and Australia with a plan to make a name for herself in Hollywood which she did when she bagged the role of Naomi Lapaglia opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street. Jesse Spencer Jesse rocked up on Ramsay street in 1994 with the rest of the Kennedy clan. He stayed for five years, literally growing up in front of the camera, but in 2000 felt it was time to spread his wings and head for Hollywood. It was certainly a smart move as he went on to bag leading roles in popular shows like House and Chicago Fire. Russell Crowe New Zealand-native Russell had a brief arc on Neighbours, appearing in four episodes of the soap 1987 as Kenny Larkin, the former cellmate of Street resident Henry Ramsay. The role obviously got him noticed though because he quickly went on to become a fully-fledged Hollywood A-lister, winning the Best Actor Oscar for his standout performance as Roman General Maximus Decimus Meridius in Gladiator.

Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet's 40 days apart EXPLAINED as rumors persist they are over

has not been seen with her Hollywood boyfriend Timothee Chalamet in over five weeks. The last time the dynamic duo were spied side-by-side was on July 5 when they were in St Tropez, France during a yacht vacation. Since then the 27-year-old billionaire has been spotted having fun with friends like Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber as well as sister Kendall Jenner over red wine and vodka martinis in Los Angeles. The California-based cosmetics mogul has also been flashing her generous cleavage and toned tummy in sexy bra-top outfits on Instagram. Fans have wondered if the brunette bombshell and Oscar nominee have parted ways after two-and-a-half years together. But the Daily Mail can explain their distance. Turns out Chalamet has been filming his next project, Dune: Messiah, in Hungary. The New Yorker plays the character Paul Atreides in the third installment of the Dune movie franchise. 'Timothee is busy making a movie and the schedule is grueling because he is in so many scenes, he is the star,' said a source. 'So he has to be very focused and together to do his best work.' Jenner gives him all the support he needs, added the source. 'She helps him out as much as she can, like give him space to work and have her private jet on standby in case he needs to go somewhere fast,' said the source. 'Kylie is a good girlfriend to him. She is always there and wants him to be happy, and if that means he has to be overseas for a few months, she is OK with it, she will wait. She also secretly jets off to see him when she can. 'Of course she misses her man and her heart hurts when he is not near, but she makes it work.' There has been shooting in Budapest for the third Dune film. Chalamet's costars are Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Robert Pattinson, Anya Taylor-Joy, Florence Pugh and Jason Momoa. Dune Messia is being shot entirely with IMAX cameras and will be in theatres on December 16, 2026. The IMDB logline for the film is brief: 'The film follows Muad'dib, heir to unimaginable power, as he brings to fruition the ancient scheme to create a superbeing ruler among men, not in the heavens.' Dune Messiah is a 1969 science fiction novel by American writer Frank Herbert, the second in his Dune series of six novels. A sequel to Dune, it was originally serialized in Galaxy magazine in 1969, and then published by Putnam the same year. Jenner and Chalamet started dating in January 2023, were rumored to be an item in April 2023 and then they went public with their romance in September 2023. Their first red carpet together was at the 70th David Di Donatello event at Cinecitta Studios in Rome, Italy on May 7, 2025. In early July Jenner started following Chalamet on Instagram. The businesswoman boasts almost 400million followers on the photo-sharing site, but she is quite choosy about who she follows, with only 119 profiles making the cut. However, one of those is now her boyfriend of two years. Fans of TyMothée - the pair's most popular ship name - have been driven into a frenzy after spotting Kylie has allowed the A Complete Unknown actor into her close social circle. However, at the time of writing, the follow is yet to be reciprocated. The 29-year-old actor has 19.7 million Instagram followers, and has only shared 147 posts, compared with Kylie's whopping 7,244 posts. But the Kardashians star shouldn't feel snubbed because he doesn't follow anybody on Instagram. That's including his ex-girlfriend Eiza Gonzalez, who recently admitted she is 'obsessed' by his new romance with reality star Kylie. During an appearance in Cosmopolitan magazine's online video series Cheap Shots, Eiza explained: 'They look so cute together. They look so in love and so cute, I'm obsessed with them, and I love Timmy.' She added of the Dune star: 'I think he's the most talented, sweetest - honestly, sweetest boy - and I'm just so proud to see him thriving and doing great in his career, and we're just good friends. 'I have nothing but amazing things to say about him.' Chalamet has been romancing Kylie - who is mom to Stormi, seven, and three-year-old Aire with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott - since April 2023, and their relationship has won the seal of approval from Timothee's mother Nicole Flender. The real estate agent told Curbed: 'I have to say she's lovely. She's very nice to me.'
