Man falls to his death during Oasis concert at London's Wembley Stadium
The band said its members were "shocked and saddened" after the man, who was understood to be sitting in the upper tier, fell to his death during the concert.
London's Metropolitan Police said officers and paramedics responded to reports of an injured person "with injuries consistent with a fall".
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
"We are shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of a fan at the show last night," Oasis said in a statement.
A spokesperson for Wembley Stadium said "medics, the London ambulance service and the police attended to a concertgoer who was found with injuries consistent with a fall".
"Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died. Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers."
Police believe many people would have witnessed the incident and urged anyone who has information that could help to get in touch.
"The stadium was busy, and we believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage," the police statement said.
The Britpop icons' first tour in 16 years kicked off on July 4 in Cardiff, Wales.
Saturday's concert was the fourth of Noel and Liam Gallagher's seven planned shows at Wembley, and a spokesperson for the stadium said the upcoming shows would go ahead as planned.
The tour has sold about 900,000 tickets, with the group heading to Edinburgh next before its international leg takes it to the United States, Japan, Australia and Brazil.
