Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7 and Z Flip7 FE certified in Indonesia
Samsung's next generation foldables are clearing the last hurdles before the big Galaxy Unpacked event. The main trio was certified by Indonesia's TKDN.
There are three models – the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 (SM-F766B) and its new affordable companion, the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE (SM-F761B), and the flagship Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 (SM-F966B).

There may be one more – Samsung officially showed a very brief teaser for the Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra. It's not showing up on the Indonesian authority certification list, which may suggest limited availability (ideally, not as limited as the Z Fold Limited Edition).
As for the flips, the Galaxy Z Flip7 will be powered by Exynos 2500, while the cheaper FE model will get the older Exynos 2400. And it seems that the US isn't getting a pass this time and will get an Exynos-powered Z Flip7. The Z Fold7 will probably use the Snapdragon 8 Elite globally, though. By the way, Samsung has officially confirmed that the new One UI 8 will debut with the new foldables (though an open beta is already available for the S25 models).
Renders: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 • Galaxy Z Flip7 FE • Galaxy Watch8 Classic
Besides introducing two new tiers of Galaxy Z Foldables, the Unpacked event in early July will bring new watches – the Galaxy Watch8 Classic renders show an Ultra-like squircle design and a rotating bezel. There will be a vanilla Watch8 too. And maybe, just maybe, the Project Moohan XR headset will launch. It is a collaboration between Samsung and Google that Google says is coming later this year.

Google teases surprise Android 16 release right after iOS 26
Alrighty everyone, just a day after Apple announced its new iOS 26, Google is ready to release the stable Android 16 version. It's been six months of testing, and the Mountain View tech giant has chosen June 10 for the big day. A new teaser by the Android Developers account confirmed the date that the new OS is coming to Pixel already knew Android 16 would launch earlier than usual, but now, in a rare move, Google has given us the exact date! The company has followed this teaser strategy with several beta builds of Android 16, so it's not new, but it's a bit strange when it's about a stable release. Android 16 's release will coincide with the June 2025 Feature Drop, so expect some more exciting things for your Pixel pretty soon. Meanwhile, even the Pixel Watch lineup should get some updates this time around. Keep in mind that if your Pixel is already on the Android 16 QPR1 Beta, it won't receive the OTA to stable Android 16 . Pixels running the Android 15 stable or Android 16 beta channel are said to receive the your phone is on the QPR1 beta channel, for you to receive the Android 16 update, you should leave the beta program and downgrade your Pixel to the stable Android 16 release. It's very important to note, though, that if you do that, all data from your phone will be erased ! The stable Android 16 build won't bring Google's new Material 3 Expressive design just yet. However, it is expected to bring other new features and improvements. These include Live Updates, which is very similar to Apple's Live Activities. Live Updates basically provides you with real-time notification updates, like food delivery status or results from sports events. Also, there's an Advanced Protection mode expected, which is said to unify Android security options into a single menu for your convenience. Other things like Intrusion Logging and Inactivity Reboot are also expected, but it's possible these will go live later in the year. So, both Android and iPhone fans will have to wait for their respective redesigns a bit more. Android 16 is expected to bring a colorful and lively Material 3 Expressive, while Apple is betting on a translucent glass-inspired look. But one is clear – more than ever, the companies are competing for your attention, given that now, things are getting announced more or less on the same day!

Google Android 16 coming today
While all eyes were on the new iOS 26, Google announced that the Android 16 final release will come out later today. Mind you, this doesn't mean 'final' as in 'last', it's just the end of the beta period. This is only for supported Pixel phones (Pixel 6-series and newer). They need to be running either Android 15 or an Android 16 beta. Other manufacturers should have final updates ready soon, given that they have followed Google with their own beta releases. It's almost time for the Android 16 final release! See you back here tomorrow. 😉 — Android Developers (@AndroidDev) June 10, 2025 Note that if you are running Android 16 QPR 1 Beta 1, you will not receive Android 16 final as an over-the-air update. QPR is a quarterly release and is expected in the fall – that update will deliver a major UI overhaul called Material 3 Expressive. QPR is a separate update track and is currently on Beta 1.1. Source
