Phillip Schofield, 63, appears worse-for-wear as he supports bleary-eyed male companion, 30, and gets cosy in the street following London lunch

Daily Mail2 days ago
Phillip Schofield appeared worse for wear after enjoying lunch with a male companion with whom he put on a cosy display in London on Saturday.
The former This Morning presenter, 63, was supported by his pal, London-based nurse Joshua Luke Sharman, 30, as they emerged from a restaurant where the star looked to stumble on his way out.
Following their departure from the eatery, Phillip and handsome Joshua got up close while sharing a cosy cuddle before nuzzling into one another.
Clad in a blue polo shirt and shorts, he appeared to need Joshua's assistance in walking before enjoying a cosy cuddle in the street.
Phillip, who came out as gay in February 2020 on the magazine show, has stepped back from the spotlight after departing This Morning in 2023 in the wake of an affair with a 20-year-old runner, which he branded 'unwise but not illegal'.
The pair were getting hot and heavy in the street with no regard to who saw their intimate moment

The star, who has been married to Stephanie Lowe since 19933, has not publically confirmed any romance since the admission of his affair.
At the time of his departure from This Morning, it was reported that Steph had been left 'devastated' by the revelation and angry that her husband had lied to her.
However, it was later revealed she is choosing not to file for divorce because she does not want him to 'fall any further' then he already has, and despite everything, 'the love is still very much there.'
As well as the breakdown of his marriage, Schofield's relationship with co-host Holly Willoughby faltered in the midst of the scandal, with the pair understood to be at loggerheads.
His daughter Molly is now his publicist after she quit the talent agency that once represented her father.
Phillip; insisted he had not 'groomed' his young lover, despite first meeting him when he was 15. He said: 'Attraction is attraction. It's no different in the gay world as it is in the heterosexual world or in the lesbian world.
'There shouldn't be a difference. This is where homophobia comes in. We did first meet when he was 15, I visited the drama school [he attended].'
He said the fallout from his admission that he lied about his affair with a younger male colleague had been 'relentless', revealing he has had suicidal thoughts.
Schofield said: 'My girls saved my life. They said last week they haven't left me for a moment. They've been by my side every moment because they're scared to let me out of their sight. What is that like for daughters to have to go with something like that?
'And they said to me, "Don't you dare do this on our watch. We're supposed to be looking after you." If my girls hadn't been there, I wouldn't be here, because I don't see my future.'

Emmerdale confirms major Charity and Ross twist as the baby might not be Sarah's

Last week, ITV soap Emmerdale delivered a massive storyline twist. In tonight's episode, they did the exact same thing again. The plot development last Thursday saw Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) kiss her ex Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick). Prior to this, Charity decided to get drunk in the pub following a massive row with Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb). She then ended up back at Vanessa's, who wanted to help Charity sober up. Charity kissed Vanessa, but we didn't see what happened next. In the episode last Friday and then the ones that have aired this week so far, it was just sort of suggested that their kiss should be left in the past and was considered a mistake. In tonight's episode, Charity headed to the hospital with Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill), Mack and Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant). They went for another scan, with Charity under the impression her first embryo transfer hadn't worked. In the room, the doctor confirmed that Charity is pregnant. The group were completely thrilled. It was definitely a bit of a shock, considering the fall and Charity's bleeding, but the doctor smiled – there was a heartbeat. The family returned home and set about organising a little celebratory afternoon in the pub. Once the likes of Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) and Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) arrived, the news was revealed, and they were all elated. It was at this point that things started to change, as Ross Barton (Michael Parr) wandered in. He caught up on the development and spoke to Charity outside. She was on edge, and the flashback scene quickly allowed us to understand why. After kissing Vanessa, Charity was thrown out of her house. She stumbled through the street and then came across Ross, who was miserable following the departure of Steph Miligan (Georgia Jay). The two characters kissed, and then had sex. Is Ross the father of Charity's baby? Back in present day, with knowledge that Charity is now pregnant, Ross couldn't help but wonder if the baby is his. Charity denied this, telling Ross their sex was meaningless and the baby belongs to Sarah and Jacob – but this is all just words. Until a DNA test is conducted, neither of them will really know the truth. For Ross, star Michael Parr told us that his character absolutely doesn't believe what Charity is saying about the pregnancy: 'I think he's desperate to find out the answer because it comes with such responsibility, having another child, it's a lot of pressure on him because he's not doing so well with work right now and his living situation isn't ideal as he's always swapping and changing. 'Plus he's just met his brother Lewis. There's a lot going on for him in his head, so he just needs to get to the bottom of this. So he can get a good night's sleep.' So, what will the outcome be? Is Charity pregnant with Ross' baby? And if so, could she lie to Jacob and Sarah for nine months and allow them to believe they're about to become parents? Things were already pretty complicated but now, after this, everything has suddenly got incredibly messy. Let's not forget that if Ross is the father of the baby, it will create even more problems for Charity and Mackenzie, who has always wanted more children. 'There are so many emotions going on which again, you know puts more of a spotlight onto Charity's awful secret and dilemma', Emma Atkins said. 'The situation was awful to begin with as it began with poor Sarah's position. It's so sad for Sarah as her situation is awful. She so wanted a child but can't physically have one. And in real life there are poor girls in that situation with cervical cancer or who have had to have a hysterectomy. More Trending 'So Charity had good intentions initially to help Sarah in her plight to have a child but now it's clashing with the awful situation she's in. The fact Mack is now so upset as he and Charity lost a baby and it was Mack's dream was to have a child with Charity but Charity told him way back when that it wasn't going to happen. She added: 'She wasn't going to go down that route again. But now she has but for someone else. He's rightfully hurt by this although wanting to support her.' 'There are just so many layers to this story. So Charity had thought she had closed the door on having another child and that prospect killed Mackenzie in many ways – she was aware of that so Charity now holds all that guilt. Of how he is feeling. View More » 'And now this new situation so this all comes back up to haunt her and it's just a sort of whirlpool of awfulness. And what will she do?.' Charity actress Emma Atkins has now had her say on the matter, addressing her character's latest drama. ‌ There was quite a bombshell on the ITV soap as it was confirmed that Charity is pregnant amid her offering to be a surrogate for her granddaughter Sarah Sugden. After she suffered bleeding and believed the procedure had not been successful, Charity was shocked to be told the pregnancy test taken at the fertility clinic was positive. ‌ Of course only Charity knew that there's a chance the baby is actually Ross Barton's and might not be Sarah and her partner Jacob Gallagher's embryo after all. It comes as a scene on Thursday confirmed Charity and Ross slept together the same night Charity kissed Vanessa. ‌ Amid the DNA drama, we finally learned what happened with Charity and Vanessa after cryptic scenes and no confirmation. Fans had been hoping for a Vanity reunion, and were a little disappointed to hear the kiss would not lead to that despite them teasing as such. A flashback on Thursday also confirmed Vanessa's fury at Charity for kissing her and hoping to sleep with her. In fact she kicked her out in a moment after the kiss that aired a couple of weeks ago. It seems just after the smooch, Vanessa called her out and kicked her out of the house. She told her: "Get out! How dare you, Charity? You think you can sleep with me to solve all your problems?" Charity claimed it was "just a kiss", to which Vanessa shouted: "It is not my fault you take a wrecking ball to every relationship you have. Honestly, I am not being your fallback option." ‌ She then turned around and slammed the door, leaving Charity out in the street before she met with Ross. Charity actress Emma had her say on the scenes, praising the characters' "chemistry" and teasing more "amazing" scenes for the pair while a romance appears to have been ruled out. Emma said: "She took solace with Vanessa. She throws herself at her knowing they have this fantastic chemistry, which was brilliant play and I love working with Michelle, and I can't wait for the audience to see that because I know that there's so many people that loved that connection." She went on about what is ahead: "It's brilliant. I've got some amazing scenes with Michelle, amazing scenes with Mike, amazing scenes with Lawrence, and of course, Katie Hill, who's fantastic. They're all brilliant to work with and so it gives me that element of chaos and as an actor that is wonderful to play." Emmerdale's Charity Dingle star teases 'amazing' scenes as surrogacy plot 'implodes'

Emmerdale's Charity Dingle actress Emma Atkins has shared all about the chaotic scenes ahead on the ITV soap after her character's latest lie amid a surrogacy storyline Emma Atkins, who plays Charity Dingle in Emmerdale, has revealed all on the "messy" storyline her character is now at the centre of. A twist on Thursday saw her outed as having cheated on her husband Mackenzie Boyd. ‌ But it wasn't with her ex Vanessa Woodfield after a recent kiss, and instead we learned she had slept with another former flame. Ross Barton dropped the bombshell that he and Charity had slept together recently, sparking a DNA scandal. ‌ It comes as Charity learned the was pregnant amid her offering to be a surrogate for her granddaughter Sarah Sugden and her partner Jacob Gallagher. Charity had undergone an embryo transfer prior to her dalliance with Ross, but believed it had not taken after she suffered bleeding. ‌ This led to a devastated Charity hitting the bottle, and she soon ended up at Vanessa's home. But despite a kiss, nothing else happened as flashbacks revealed Vanessa kicked her out of the house, horrified by her actions. The flashbacks revealed something else too though, and it's then that we saw Charity and Ross kissing. In present day Ross then asked Charity if the baby was his, confirming the pair had slept together that night. Now Emma has revealed all on the huge twist and what it means for those involved in the storyline. She teased: "There's just so many avenues now of dilemma - she's stuck in this hellhole of what do I do next and who do I turn to and it's cataclysmic holding in that kind of secret. "Surely at some point she's definitely going to implode. I think the audience enjoys witnessing that, don't they? They like to witness someone holding a secret. "Who is she going to tell, who's going to find out, when will Ross cotton on fully? There's all of these things spinning through her mind." She promised "amazing" scenes ahead and revealed Charity is "such a mess" as a result of what she's done. ‌ Emma revealed: "This has created a huge element of conflict for her and as an actor you can't hope for a better storyline. When you're just in the midst of chaos, dilemma and moral questioning of your own character. "It makes you go, how are you going to get yourself out of this one? And I know the audience will just be like, oh my God, what will she do? Who can she tell? Because I think they all are going to immediately jump to the idea of, hang on then it's not Sarah and Jacob's baby. "I think it is just a jaw dropping moment for those that have followed the storyline. Because it just ups the stakes with everything. Sarah's just got this desperate need to be a mum, Charity's so desperate to please Sarah in that, she feels her vocation is being this vessel to carry this child. There's so much at stake for them and the audience finding this out, is just that amazing moment. It's a good soap moment, a gift."
