Aurobindo Pharma shares in focus after Q4 profit dips marginally to Rs 903 cr
Aurobindo Pharma
shares are likely to be in focus on Tuesday after the Hyderabad-based drug manufacturer reported a marginal dip in its consolidated net profit for the March 2025 quarter. The company posted a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 903 crore in Q4FY25, slightly lower than Rs 907 crore reported in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
Despite the minor decline in bottom-line performance, Aurobindo's revenue from operations rose to Rs 8,382 crore in the March quarter, up from Rs 7,580 crore in the year-ago period, indicating robust topline growth.

For the full year ended March 31, 2025, the company delivered a 10% year-on-year increase in PAT at Rs 3,484 crore, compared to Rs 3,169 crore in FY24.
Annual revenue also grew significantly to Rs 31,724 crore, up from Rs 29,002 crore the previous year.
"We are pleased to deliver another quarter and year of all-time high sales and EBITDA, reflecting the strength of our core businesses, consistent volume-led growth, and the depth of our differentiated product portfolio," Aurobindo Pharma Vice-Chairman and MD K Nithyananda Reddy said.

The drug firm's European operations continue to perform exceptionally well, moving steadily towards the USD 1 billion revenue milestone, Reddy added.

Over the past year, Aurobindo Pharma's stock has declined by 4.51%. The year-to-date (YTD) performance shows a drop of 12.73%, while the six-month return stands at a negative 4.05%. In contrast, the stock gained 9.06% over the last three months. However, it has slipped 3.16% in the past month.
Aurobindo Pharma shares closed 1.4% lower at Rs 1,179.35 on the BSE on Tuesday.

1 2 Varanasi: The first planned urban township project for Varanasi will be developed over 150 acres in the vicinity of the international cricket stadium at Ganjari. Varanasi Development Authority approved the project at its 133rd board meeting, on Monday evening. 14 acres of Gadag MGRDPR University turn into green oasis
Hubballi: SBI Foundation has developed 14 acres at Mahatma Gandhi Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (MGRDPR) University campus in Nagavi, Gadag. The hilly space, which was filled with bushes, has turned into a green farm with more than 19,000 saplings, thanks to SBI Jan-Van project. Dr Suresh V Nadagoudar, registrar and (acting) vice-chancellor of the varsity, told TOI that the SBI Foundation exclusively selected MGRDPR University from the entire Karnataka to implement the SBI Jan-Van project. "This initiative, launched in collaboration with Sankalpa Rural Development Society (SRDS), is a step toward environmental conservation. This mini forest has become an excellent spot for the leisure of the people of Gadag. It also offers our students a rare opportunity to experience and connect with the environment. With a dedicated water supply, greenery, and cleanliness, a pure and sustainable ecosystem has been created here," he said. The forest has a check dam, open gym, meeting space, borewells and recharge units, trenches, gully plugs, solar lights and benches. 1 2 Visakhapatnam: In a landmark step toward transforming India's built environment into inclusive and accessible spaces for all, Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) is hosting a high-level national consultation to develop the country's first purple building certification scheme — a dedicated accessibility rating system for buildings. On June 11–12, more than 50 leading national experts in accessibility, disability rights, architecture, and urban planning with get together at the AMTZ campus in Visakhapatnam to deliberate and finalise the framework. The certification is aimed at ensuring that public and private buildings across India are designed and operated in ways that are truly accessible for persons with disabilities, senior citizens, pregnant women, and all users with mobility and sensory needs. The purple building certification scheme is being designed as a structured, scalable tool that will assess buildings based on universal design principles. It will include detailed checklists, tiered ratings (basic to excellence), and measurable benchmarks covering entrances, ramps, signage, washrooms, elevators, pathways, and digital accessibility.
