Omran Group launches promotional campaign to promote local tourism

Muscat: Omran Group has launched an integrated promotional campaign titled "In Oman" in collaboration with the national travel operator Visit Oman, as part of its efforts to promote domestic tourism and broaden the range of tourism experiences in the Sultanate of Oman.
The campaign, which runs until the end of August, aims to encourage citizens and residents to explore the diverse tourism offerings across Oman's governorates by providing exclusive accommodation packages at the group's hospitality properties, along with a variety of tourism activities and experiences.
Shabib bin Mohammed Al Maamari, General Manager of Visit Oman, said:
"The campaign represents an important milestone in expanding the platform's digital services. It contributes to promoting Omani destinations and enhancing the user experience through advanced solutions that simplify the tourism planning process."
This initiative is part of a shared vision to strengthen cooperation between national institutions active in the tourism sector and to deliver an integrated tourism experience.

Bank Muscat's participation in the Khareef Dhofar 2025 reaffirms its commitment to promoting tourism as a key pillar of the national economy. The Bank aims to build sustainable relationships with local communities and enhance cultural awareness, contributing to the overall tourism experience in Oman and reflecting its beauty and cultural diversity. Dhofar Municipality recently announced the details for the Khareef Dhofar 2025, which will run from June 21 to September 20. This year's season features enhanced programmes designed to provide unique experience for visitors and strengthen the governorate's status as a popular tourist destination. Officials highlighted a renewed vision focused on establishing Dhofar as a comprehensive cultural and tourist hub, with activities scheduled at five key locations: Atin Square, "Return to the Past" in Al Saada, Awqad Park, the Modern Front in Atin Plain, and Salalah Public Park. On this occasion, Taya Eid Bait Sabeea, Deputy General Manager – Interior Regions, Bank Muscat, said: 'The Bank is dedicated to offering a range of banking services to all visitors, with a focus on enhancing financial inclusion and supporting events that highlight the Sultanate as a key tourist and economic destination. Khareef Dhofar attracts visitors due to the region's exceptional climate. The Bank acknowledges the significant role of Dhofar Municipality in organizing events that promote tourism and economic growth. The Bank reaffirms its commitment to providing top-tier services through various channels across Dhofar and beyond, embodying its vision "To serve you better, every day." Muscat – Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran Group) has launched a campaign called #WithinOman aimed at promoting domestic tourism and encouraging residents to explore the country's diverse destinations in collaboration with the National Travel Operator Visit Oman. Running till the end of August, the campaign offers exclusive staycation packages and curated experiences across Omran's hospitality portfolio. It features discounts on accommodation, food and beverages, complimentary child stay, and a range of activities, including heritage, wellness and adventure experiences. Bookings can be made through Visit Oman's digital platform, allowing travellers to plan full itineraries with ease. The campaign targets both residents and visitors, positioning Oman as a year-round tourism destination. 'The summer campaign marks a milestone in expanding Visit Oman's booking platform, now serving both trade partners and travellers,' said Shabib al Maamari, Managing Director of Visit Oman. 'This initiative supports national efforts to boost domestic tourism and showcases Oman's rich diversity – from the fjords of Musandam to the khareef of Dhofar.' Participating hotels include Al Bustan Palace, W Muscat, JW Marriott Muscat, Crowne Plaza OCEC, Atana Musandam, Atana Khasab, Crowne Plaza Duqm, Alila Hinu Bay, and Dusit D2 Naseem Resort in Jabal Akhdar. Eleventh Annual Human Development Conference kicks off in Salalah

Salalah: The 11th Annual Human Development Conference kicked off at Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah on Sunday. The conference, themed "Developing human resources through training", focuses on innovation and applications of artificial intelligence (AI). It constitutes part of national efforts to enhance human competencies and achieve the goals of Oman Vision 2040. The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, and attended by senior government officials, experts and specialists from Oman and abroad. The conference aims to empower national cadres and develop manpower by preparing individuals to meet future demands and exchange knowledge about ways to leverage the potential of innovation and AI to improve professional performance. The conference will cover various topics, with emphasis on developing training programmes in accordance with the latest international methodologies. The conference is a 2-day event being organised by 'Alassayel Company for Conferences and Training Services' in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, Dhofar Governor's Office and the branch of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dhofar Governorate.
